Since the Sky Father's last fit of rage, another five hundred years have passed in haste.
Just as Ryan had predicted, a hundred years after the Cyclopes were imprisoned in the abyss, the God King flew into a rage once more with the birth of the three Hecatoncheires.
They had fifty heads and a hundred arms, possessing immense strength from birth. They were named Briareos, Cottus, and Gyges. Although they held no Divinity, the Hecatoncheires possessed an immortal essence, and their innate power allowed them to defeat even Titans of Intermediate Divine Power when they combined their strength.
But no matter their abilities, or how much the Earth Mother pleaded on their behalf, the great King of the Gods could not tolerate their existence.
This time, only fifty years passed before Ryan, who had just attained Weak Divine Power, was awakened once more. Through the perspective of [Moon], the traces of the three Hecatoncheires falling into the abyss were clearly visible.
Continuously casting six children into the abyss, this brutal act caused the Twelve Titans to tremble. Although they didn't particularly like their strangely shaped younger brothers, they couldn't help but feel a sense of shared misfortune.
The drama on Divine Mountain was exciting, but none of it had anything to do with Ryan. Now possessing Level 7 Divine Power, he sat quietly on a rock, waiting for a visitor.
The [Prophecy] Divinity was still somewhat useful. Although he had never truly succeeded in making a prophecy with it, he still received hints from fate regarding certain matters.
For example, today, Ryan's expression shifted as he watched the green-skirted goddess appear before him.
The Earth Mother wore a black veil, her expression solemn and somewhat sorrowful.
"It has been many years, esteemed Earth Mother," Ryan said, as he could roughly guess the other party's purpose.
"I had intended to greet you, but seeing your complexion, I refrained from such an intrusion."
Unlike the young and vibrant goddess of a thousand years ago, Gaia appeared much older today, looking like a middle-aged woman in her thirties or forties at first glance.
Her once smooth skin was somewhat dull, and fine wrinkles lined the corners of her eyes. A look of pain flowed from her clear and gentle eyes, and even though their Divine Power differed greatly, Ryan could still feel that emptiness and decay.
The Earth Mother, once the most abundant in origin, had now fallen to the bottom of the Primordial Gods, and was even struggling to maintain the status of Great Divine Power.
This was unprecedented. Although the Primordial Gods of the past had lost power due to personification, their status remained unyielding. But the Earth Mother's current state showed that the origin of the earth had been severely ravaged.
"I wonder, what brings the Earth Mother here?"
Seemingly scrutinizing for a long time, it was actually only a moment. Although he had already guessed Gaia's intention, Ryan still asked.
"Esteemed Seer, as you said before, I have reached the end of my patience."
Ignoring Ryan's feigned ignorance, Gaia went straight to the point.
"Two thousand years... It started out well enough. Although he was strict with the children, he ultimately did nothing excessive."
"He made endless demands of me, but I cannot blame him for that. As the Sky Father and the symbol of masculinity, this was the influence that divine authority brought him. I accept and understand, and do not resent him for it."
"But later, it was different." The Earth Mother looked back at the earth, as if looking at those children imprisoned in Tartarus: "When the Cyclopes were born, everything changed."
"He began to grow mad and dictatorial, he became manic and lost his rationality. He even believed that children without Divinity could threaten his position. He abused the authority of the God King, imprisoning them in the abyss."
"And now, he has set his sights on those of my children who are born gods."
Gaia's gaze returned from the earth, looking directly at Ryan.
Although the Earth Mother was never known for her martial prowess, such a gaze still brought considerable pressure to Ryan. He knew that although none of this was something he had actively sought, Gaia was somewhat dissatisfied with him, the Seer.
It was only out of fear of fate, or perhaps out of a desire for a solution, that both Uranus and Gaia had always been well-behaved gods in his presence.
But Ryan knew that they were being well-behaved with him only because they wanted to, not because they had to.
"So the God King is feeling threatened?" Meeting the Earth Mother's gaze, Ryan said with a smile.
"Yes, their growing children made him uneasy. Hyperion, Cronus, Okeanos, and Tethys, these children have already become beings of Great Divine Power. Although they are not yet as strong as their father, it is already enough to cause him some trouble."
"Even my other offspring, except for the pitiful Iapetus and Mnemosyne, who were born with only [Speech], [Writing], and [Language] and are too weak, their siblings have all become gods of Intermediate Divine Power."
As she spoke, Gaia's expression became somewhat sorrowful. She should have been happy to see her children possess such great power, but Uranus's increasingly dangerous gaze told her that if she didn't do something, they might very well follow in the footsteps of the giants.
"I understand." Ryan nodded, "You hope that I can solve this problem and get them to let go of their grudges, is that right?"
"If that could be done, that would be for the best," the Earth Mother said.
"But that's impossible." Shaking his head, Ryan said calmly, "Respected Earth Mother, I am merely the God of Prophecy, not the God of Fate. The moment the God King ordered me to make a prophecy, his own fate was enveloped by the prophecy."
"A prophecy that envelops the God King's fate, even the destined Lady Ananke, I'm afraid, would be powerless."
The Earth Mother was somewhat speechless. Before today, in the past two thousand years, she had visited her sister more than once, the Lady of the Night who constantly enjoyed solitude with the Dark Lord Erebus.
But as Ryan said, the power of prophecy and curses is closely related to its initiator. When the God King personally demanded to know his fate, then that fate was something no one could stop.
Perhaps the world itself could, but the world has no will of its own. That is why the God King, who had also visited the Lady of the Night, was so convinced of the prophecy, because he knew it could not be changed.
"Then how about another way?"
After hesitating for a long time, the Earth Mother's eyes showed some struggle, but she still spoke.
"If I want to solve this problem once and for all, what do you think I should do?"
Hearing these words, Ryan's heart skipped a beat.
This was not nervousness, nor was it surprise, but as the Earth Mother made her choice, the power of [History] began to gather on him.
To fully witness an era, to possess authority related to time, one can naturally obtain the Divinity of [History]. This was originally the power that belonged to the future Rhea, but now, it extended its hands to a god born even earlier.
To this, Ryan gladly accepted.
