Chapter 17 Prelude
Nearly three hundred years had passed since Ryan's last meeting with the Earth Mother.
Ryan's Power had grown again. Although he had remained in the Underworld all these years, with the implementation of the 'Calendar' and the operation of the 'Moon', he had reached Divine Power Level 9, approaching the peak of Weak Divine Power.
Among his many Divinities, the Change of [Chronology] was the most dramatic. Now, it was a powerful Divinity sufficient to support him reaching Divine Power Level 12. Iapetus of the Twelve Titans was even weaker than him; after all, simple [Speech] was too insignificant.
But Ryan didn't care, because he knew that soon he would have a real foothold in the Khaos world.
According to the vague feeling from the [Prophecy] Divinity, perhaps it would be today.
...Mount Othrys.
It had been three hundred years since the God King imprisoned his children.
At first, Uranus, who had committed the atrocity, was still a little worried. He was not sure if his plan was really effective. He checked the condition of the Titans from time to time, and even cut open Gaia's abdomen again. But the final result reassured him. The Prophecy was indeed stopped by him.
His children stayed there obediently, and there were no signs of significant disorder in the Laws corresponding to their Divinities. Except for the Earth Mother weakening day by day, nothing unexpected happened.
Uranus finally let go of his worries. He proved with facts that Fate could be stopped by Power.
From then on, he no longer worried about it. He once looked for Ryan's trace. After all, he had defeated the Prophecy, so the God of Prophecy was not terrible. He planned to vent his past worries about this. He wanted to let the 'Seer' know that in the face of real Power, nothing was absolute.
But to Uranus's disappointment, he searched the Earth and the Ocean, and he used the authority of the Sky to search the world, but still did not find Ryan's trace.
'Maybe he is sheltering in the Eternal Night Land, or somewhere else.'
'At least in terms of escaping, the 'Seer' is still very capable.'
In the end, the God King, who had gained nothing, gave up searching. He was unwilling to provoke other Primordial Gods, but had nothing to do, so he had to stay with his God Queen all day long, releasing desire day and night.
On this day, as usual, the Sky sank slightly, connecting with the top of Mount Othrys.
The Sky and the Earth fit together because of the behavior of their personified Avatars. This was not the first time. But in the empty Khaos today, there was not even a bystander.
"It's time," Themis said.
Different from her Sisters, the Goddess of Justice and Law had always been taciturn in the past.
She was not close to her own kind, and her Power was not strong, because at this time no one in Khaos cared about Justice, and no one cared about Law. The God King wantonly wielded his Power, and the weak Themis could only silently watch.
For this reason, she covered her eyes. Different from the explanations in later myths, at this moment she simply did not want to see this disordered everything.
But now, the God King was about to be overthrown, and she was the first to cheer for her younger brother.
"Yes, it's time," Rhea also said.
Perhaps because of the similarity in Divinity, the Goddess of the Passage of Time had always been close to her youngest brother. As a Goddess, she was naturally not suitable for the identity of 'Firstborn', so she not only did not envy her brother, but was proud of his courage.
"You are right."
"It's time."
Cronus raised his head.
Reaching out, he pulled the Scythe of Prophecy from his mother's flesh. Its appearance was not exquisite, and even seemed a bit rough. The flint blade shone with luster, and the Vines of Plants wrapped around the handle. Cronus gripped it, and he felt boundless pain and despair.
That was the pain Gaia suffered when she conceived this Scythe, and only the Titans who suffered with her could hold it.
The Sky and the Earth were intersecting. In Gaia's womb, Cronus could clearly see this scene. The hand holding the handle trembled a little, which was both fear and excitement.
Even now, the fear that Uranus instilled in him for thousands of years still lingered. He feared his father, just as anyone would fear pain. But he still mustered his courage, because the God King's Throne was just ahead.
'I will succeed,' he thought.
Grasping the hilt of the scythe, he swung it down with force; an era came to an end.
...The Underworld.
Instead of standing on the ground, Ryan hovered in the sky. Under the influence of Divine Power, Ryan looked down upon this land.
"It's about to begin."
Looking up at the top of the Underworld, Ryan seemed to see through the layers of earth, witnessing the scene destined to be recorded in history.
He didn't go up to watch, not only because it was a war between the Sky Father and the Titans, but also because he had more important things to do.
"I'm about to begin too."
Ryan's mood was a little excited. Only he knew that he was about to do something that Khaos would never allow.
But at this special moment, no one could stop him.
Ryan quietly stared ahead. He didn't know when, but the [Moon] that was originally hanging on the Earth had disappeared. Its creator, the source of its existence, had taken it down, passed through the layers of earth, and arrived in a strange place.
Now, the silvery-white celestial body hung above the Underworld.
The soft and bright light illuminated the Underworld, which had not seen the light of day for ten thousand years. The Power belonging to the [Shadow Moon] began to converge towards the [Moon] in the darkness. This was not only because there should be a Shadow Moon here, but also because of the future God King's oath.
However, Ryan knew very well that Khaos would definitely take back this authority after the real Shadow Moon was born. This was a common trick used by the world's consciousness.
It had no subjective consciousness; it only had instinct. So it didn't care who a thing should belong to; it only cared about acting according to its own Rules.
"But from now on, such things will never happen again."
With a slight smile, Ryan reached out and straightened his silvery-white robe. On this important day, he still wanted to have a sense of ritual.
He held the Divine Decree Stone Tablet in his hand and hung the Life Treasure Bottle around his waist. Surrounded by the Space-Time Origin, Ryan walked towards the [Moon].
As if he hadn't touched anything, the Lord of the Moon entered the interior of the [Moon]. Unlike the brilliance of the outside world, it was dark here. The chaotic Chronology that had been ordered to be bound by the God King was wandering here. The past and the future were uncertain, and the length of Time had no measure. It was more like the beginning of creation, everything was so chaotic.
Looking at this scene, Ryan reached out and lifted the silver-gold intertwined Space-Time Origin. He broke it up and integrated it into this Space.
The original Origin scattered, and it began to combine with the chaotic Chronology here. But losing its original solidified state, it was dissipating at a hundred times the speed. If nothing unexpected happened, Cronus would take back this Origin under instinct in at most three months, maybe two months, and Ryan would not be able to accuse him of breaking his oath at that time.
But now, these Origins would not even have a day.
The Spirituality Origin hidden for an era surged from Ryan for the first time. It wrapped the [Moon] and its creation. Taking this as a medium, Chronology, Prophecy, Shadow Moon, and even the authority adsorbed by the [Moon] during its operation, such as light, Celestial Bodies, Change, and even the Death and barrenness that had just gathered after arriving in the Underworld, all concepts converged with [Spirituality] at this moment.
They converged together, were frantically torn apart by Spirituality, and mixed into an indescribable chaotic color; it was also like absolute Darkness, everything was empty.
Only Ryan stood here; he was the only existence here.
"Finally waited for this day."
Ryan felt a little emotional. He could feel that the will of the world had locked onto him. Undoubtedly, his behavior of letting Spirituality devour other Origins had angered the world. Khaos didn't care whether these Origins belonged to him; it only cared that these things that were originally under its control were about to escape its control.
So it issued a dark summons, and all the gods in existence received this special message. This was a law resonance similar to the God Birth.
All the gods knew that in the Underworld, under the Earth, there was a god in charge of Spirituality who was violating the will of the world. Those who stopped him would be rewarded, and those who helped him would be punished by the world.
But just as Ryan had calculated, time passed minute by minute, and nothing happened.
In the very center of the Moon, in the dark and chaotic void, Ryan's divine body disintegrated on its own, transforming into matter that merged with the environment.
At this moment, within the Moon, the earth was a void of chaos; above the abyss was a stretch of darkness; Ryan's spirituality moved upon the face of the waters.
In this emptiness, a voice cut through the silence. This was the first, from which all things originated.
"Let there be light!" he said.
And in the next moment, the dark void had light.
He saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.
He called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night; and there was evening, and there was morning; this was the first day.
