"The God of Man can't be summoned, but there happens to be a Demon."

A magnetic voice sounded from behind.

Kino turned his head, and the Boss of the bar maintained his elegant posture.

Demon.

Kino had a guess, and he bowed.

"May I ask your name?"

"Lucifer Morningstar, you can call me Lucifer," Lucifer said kindly.

Good news: I probably won't die today.

Bad news: I've encountered the Lord of Hell, Satan.

Lucifer was originally the most perfect angel created by God. Due to his dissatisfaction with God, he led a portion of equally dissatisfied angels to rebel, but they failed. He himself was banished from Heaven by God and condemned to rule Hell for eternity.

"Lord Lucifer, I am terribly sorry for disturbing you."

"I want you to take me away from this world."

"Lucifer, I refuse."

"Why? You were clearly tempted."

"Yes! I was tempted, but that wasn't love."

Kino bent down and approached Mandarin, taking all the rings off his hands.

"Lucifer, may I take him with me?"

"...As you wish. His time stop will wear off in ten minutes."

"Thank you."

With that, Kino picked up Mandarin and pushed open the door, leaving.

Only after the sound of the tavern's door chime faded did Lucifer sit at the bar and order a drink.

"Mazikeen, has my charm diminished? I can't even seduce a child."

"My Lady, his tent was practically pitched, so he was tempted. However, he regained his senses at the last moment."
