"Hmm, scared?"
Gwen looked at Kino's handsome face, her cheeks flushing. He was so good-looking, maybe a Demon King wasn't so bad.
"Not scared at all."
The injured on the ground thought, You're not scared, but I am. The ones saving them aren't angels, but a Demon King. Won't they demand their souls as payment after healing them?
Banner and Blonsky also walked over.
"Hell is real, this is a portal!"
Banner's gaze was immediately drawn to the black portal.
As a doctor with seven PhDs, Banner was captivated by this gateway.
He completely ignored Kino's presence, scrutinizing it while muttering some technical jargon.
"What's up with him?"
Kino looked at Blonsky beside him.
"He was planning to say goodbye and leave, but he seems to have forgotten now." Blonsky shrugged.
"What are your plans now?" Kino asked.
"I'll probably face a military tribunal, or maybe be locked up in some lab as experimental material."
Blonsky gave a bitter smile, looking at the ruined streets around him with a sense of confusion. What was I thinking? Attacking civilians as a soldier.
"Want to come with me? This world will face many crises in the future, and your strength will be needed. I can also make you stronger, truly defeat the Hulk. You must have felt it before, as Hulk's strength keeps increasing with every fight. Even without me, you would still lose to him."
Kino began recruiting. Although he had many demon subordinates, they couldn't appear in this world openly without causing chaos. However, he had other ideas, perhaps achievable.
Hearing this, a flicker of desire flashed in Blonsky's eyes. Although his reason had returned, his obsession wasn't so easily dispelled.
Blonsky stared intently at Kino and asked, "Can you really make me stronger? Truly defeat the Hulk?"
Kino tilted his chin slightly, confidently stating, "Of course. I have the ability. As long as you follow me, I will help you master even greater power."
Blonsky fell into thought. After a moment, he gritted his teeth and said, "Alright, I'll follow you. I hope you keep your word."
Kino smiled, "Don't worry, I never go back on my word."
Just then, movement came from within the portal.
"Mora, hurry up."
"Little Xi, why did you wake me? I only slept for a week."
"His Majesty the Demon King needs your abilities. Damn it, how did you get so fat for a demon?"
"Can't help it, it's natural. Little Xi, are you envious?"
"Envious of what! I can transform too. Hurry up, His Majesty the Demon King is waiting."
Light and lazy voices came from the portal.
Banner also snapped back to reality, looking warily at the portal. This gate connected to Hell, and demons were about to appear.
The first to emerge was Xi, a little loli.
Seeing Banner blocking the entrance, she frowned.
"If you don't want to be dragged into Hell with me, get out of the way."
"Oh, okay..."
Banner moved aside. This was a demon, yet she seemed no different from a child.
Behind Xi, the portal rippled again.
The first thing to appear was a massive chest, its exaggerated size seeming to push the surrounding air aside. Then, a tall figure gradually emerged.
She was a tall Older Sister, with a lazy demeanor and a head of fiery red hair casually draped over her shoulders.
With every step, her chest swayed like waves, leaving the injured on the ground and the citizens watching the broadcast stunned. This demon is so… intense.
The cameraman, with keen foresight, focused the lens on the demon's chest.
Her face was exquisite, yet carried a hint of careless allure. Her slender eyebrows were slightly raised, her narrow phoenix eyes half-lidded, shimmering with a mysterious light. Two horns, signifying her demonic nature, sprouted from her head.
She walked out of the vortex step by step, and everyone around seemed frozen, their eyes fixed on her, unable to look away.
"Greetings, His Majesty the Demon King. I am Mora, the Healing Demon."
Mora arrived before Kino and knelt sincerely on one knee, her chest's abyss facing him directly. This is two sizes bigger than Pamela's.
"Hiss... get up first."
Kino gasped, snapping back to reality as he sensed the killing intent radiating from his side.
Pamela also looked at Mora in amazement.
"Yes."
Mora stood up.
"Your Majesty, little Xi said you needed my abilities?"
Mora asked softly, her voice sweet and melodious, as if it could captivate anyone.
Kino cleared his throat, trying to shift his gaze away from Mora's striking features, and said, "That's right, there are many injured here who need your abilities to heal them.
Mora nodded slightly and said, "Your Majesty, my abilities have some side effects."
"What side effects?"
"No desire in that regard. Minor injuries will take months to heal, and severe injuries will take more than a year."
Isn't this temporary impotence?
"You all heard it, do you want to be treated?"
Kino looked at the injured. Most of them were conscious and expressed their desire for treatment. Even if they could survive without it, the exorbitant medical fees were not something everyone could afford.
"Let's begin, Mora!"
Mora nodded slightly and raised her hands again. Green light instantly enveloped the injured.
As the light flickered, the wounds of the injured healed at an astonishing speed. Their faces gradually showed expressions of joy, as some of them even regrew severed limbs.
Just as the injured were rejoicing in their recovery, a sudden cry erupted from the crowd.
Everyone looked in the direction of the sound. Soldiers armed with guns had surrounded the area and were driving away the civilians.
Once most of the civilians had been driven away, General Ross walked over.
"Now, hand them over to me!"
"Didn't you see the demons I summoned? How dare you try to take people from demons?" Kino asked with some curiosity.
"Hahaha, demons? They're just mutants. Hand them over to me, and I'll let you go," Ross laughed heartily.
He knew about mutants' abilities, all sorts of them. The ones who subdued Hulk and Abomination should be psychic abilities.
The scene of Hulk and Abomination being toyed with must have been illusionary. He simply didn't believe that any power in the world could simultaneously suppress the might of Hulk and Abomination.
Upon hearing this, Kino asked, "You're showing yourself so openly. Aren't you afraid I'll kill you?"
"See that?"
General Ross pointed at a camera not far away.
"It's being broadcast nationwide. If you dare to kill me, it will be equivalent to mutants provoking this nation. Then, no place will tolerate you.
You can either leave now and nothing will happen, or kill me and implicate the entire mutant community."
At the same time, Kino's super hearing could also pick up the voices of the nation.
"All mutants die!"
"These monsters shouldn't exist!"
"Lock them all up!"
All sorts of malicious and hateful words flooded Kino's ears, but he suddenly burst out laughing.
General Ross frowned and barked, "What are you laughing at?"
"I actually have another option."
A sense of unease welled up in General Ross's heart. He asked, "What?"
Kino crossed his arms and said loudly, "I'll destroy this nation first!"
Ross was about to mock him for boasting, If you find this book good, remember to add it to your bookshelf so you don't lose it next time.
