Taking the League of Assassins

Talia keenly sensed the slightest disturbance nearby. She turned her head, and her gaze instantly locked onto Kino.

Her eyes were filled with wariness and confusion. Aside from her father, Ra's al Ghul, and herself, no one else was allowed in here.

"Father, who is he?"

"My master, the League of Assassins' new leader," Ra's al Ghul answered calmly.

Talia's heart jolted. She couldn't believe that her always arrogantly insane father would submit to someone else. He must be under mind control!

With that thought, Talia charged straight at Kino without another word, her eyes filled with murderous intent.

Seeing this, Ra's al Ghul swiftly moved to block her attack. After a few exchanges, he subdued Talia, leaving her unable to move.

"Kill him, Damian!" Talia shouted at her son, Damian.

Without the slightest hesitation, Damian thrust the dagger in his hand at Kino.

Just then, a black tentacle whipped out, knocking the dagger from Damian's hand before binding him and lifting him into the air.

Next, a black head emerged from behind Kino. It opened a mouth full of razor-sharp teeth and menaced Damian. "I love eating soft, tender children most of all."

Damian's face turned as pale as paper from fright. His small body trembled uncontrollably, and he instinctively turned to look at his mother, Talia.

Even after enduring the League of Assassins' brutal training, he was still only a child who had yet to grow up.

In the face of this sudden terror, his inner vulnerability and dependence on his mother were exposed in an instant.

"Venom, don't scare him into wetting himself," Kino said.

"He won't. He's Batman's son, after all," Venom muttered before lowering Damian back to the ground.

As soon as Damian's feet touched the ground, he stood there blankly, staring straight at Venom as she changed back into human form.

His little face looked stiff. When Venom reached over and kneaded his cheeks, he didn't dare resist in the slightest. Like a frightened little rabbit, he could only let her do as she pleased.

"This little guy is so well-behaved. Kino, can I raise him?"

Kino looked speechless. "What do you think this is, raising a pet? You see something cute and bring it home? I'm taking the entire League of Assassins away soon. This little guy is going back to his father."

"Having Bruce Wayne look after a child is way too unreliable."

Venom thought of what had happened to the various Robins and couldn't help muttering. Each one had been more rebellious than the last.

"Isn't Alfred there? We can send his mother over too. A happy family reunion."

Kino had no intention of taking on the trouble of raising someone else's child.

"...Poor kid. Neither of his parents is normal."

Venom sympathetically stroked Damian's little head. Perhaps because she had taken human form, Venom had somehow become a little more sentimental as well.

Damian's eyes widened. He couldn't understand a word they were saying and could only hope that the strange monster in front of him would leave soon.

"If you really like him, we can have one of our own," Kino said.

"Not yet. I don't have the ability to control genes right now. If I'm going to have a child, I want it to be the most perfect one."

Venom firmly shook her head. Although her body was capable of bearing children, she wanted to have a child combining Pamela's and Kino's genes. She had agreed to that beforehand.

Talia was pinned firmly to the ground, unable to move.

"Who are you people?" she demanded angrily.

Kino ignored her question and walked straight to the Lazarus Pit.

Super Vision activated instantly, but his sight was obscured by the dense blue light. He couldn't see the source of the pool water at all.

"Ra's al Ghul, order all the assassins to return to the castle and stand by. No matter what happens, they are not to move," Kino said without turning his head.

"Yes, Master," Ra's al Ghul replied respectfully.

After all the assassins had returned to the castle, Kino displayed astonishing strength. He carried Ra's al Ghul and Talia in one hand, Damian in the other, then pushed off with both feet and soared straight into the sky.

Superman? But wasn't Superman dead? Or is this merely Flight Ability? Talia thought as she gazed at Kino in midair.

Damian remained perfectly still and silent. Kino couldn't help taking a couple of extra looks at him. The little guy really was well-behaved, and with his handsome, beautiful features inherited from his parents, Kino was starting to want to raise him too.

When they reached the foot of the mountain, Kino gently set down the people in his hands. He looked up at the towering snowy peak before charging into it with all his strength, leaving behind only a huge crater.

"What is he doing?"

Talia looked at Ra's al Ghul in confusion. At this moment, she made no attempt to escape. More than anything, she wanted to understand the mysterious man's purpose.

Rumble—

A violent tremor shook the earth. The snowy mountain slowly began to rise into the air.

Talia's eyes widened in shock as she stared in disbelief at the tiny figure beneath the mountain.

The corner of Ra's al Ghul's mouth twitched. He thought to himself, The master really does what he says. He's taking the entire League of Assassins away.

Damian's mouth fell open as well. In his understanding, this was a power no human could possess. His young mind was deeply shaken, and he could only stare blankly at the unbelievable scene.

Kino held up the enormous snowy mountain with both hands and walked step by step into Hell.

After entering Hell, Kino found Yū and gave her a few brief instructions. "Yū, leave this snowy mountain here for now. Make the necessary arrangements." Yū nodded in agreement, and Kino turned to leave.

Kino soon returned to Ra's al Ghul. "I'll give you five days to settle your affairs. Come with me after five days."

Ra's al Ghul respectfully nodded and agreed.

Then Kino grabbed Talia and Damian. His figure blurred, and he flew toward Gotham.

As he traveled toward Gotham, Kino calculated inwardly, I need to find a chance to get some kind of spatial teleportation ability. It'll make things much more convenient in the future.

Kino suddenly felt something wrap around his leg. Thinking Talia was afraid of the altitude, he ignored her. But when he felt a hand gently stroking his chest, he looked down.

Her red lips curved slightly into a captivating smile. Her fair fingers rested lightly on Kino's chest and slowly wandered across it.

"What are you doing?"

"Can't you tell? Or should we find a hotel and have a deeper exchange?"

Talia parted her lips slightly, her voice soft and seductive. She stared directly at Kino without the slightest hesitation, her eyes filled with undisguised desire.

She wanted a child with Superman. As long as his child inherited half of his strength, ruling the world would be effortless.

"Your child is here," Kino said, his eyes darkening slightly.

"Don't mind him. Or, if you think it's exciting, you can let him watch."

Talia assumed Kino was concerned about the child. The seductive smile remained on her face as she pressed herself even closer to him.

She understood men far too well. As long as they found something exciting, they were willing to try anything. What she had never expected, however, was that Kino was not one of the ordinary men she knew.
