Background / History
Chu Feng was originally a modern laborer. After being struck by a truck, he transmigrated into Great Zhou and briefly lived as a wandering beggar before being kidnapped and sold into the Fang Family as a sparring servant. Although the family taught sparring servants basic martial arts, he later discovered Young Master Fang’s affair with Fang Hanshan’s eighteenth concubine and was nearly killed to silence him. 1
While fleeing Yong'an City, Chu Feng was pursued by Liu Hu, a former servant whom he had personally rescued, taught, and treated as a younger brother. He killed Liu Hu in self-defense, triggering the God-Tier Plundering System and receiving three years of lifespan along with the Bronze Skin Iron Bones physique. 1 2
He returned to Yong'an City under the identity of Chu Liu Xiang, worked as a butcher at Hongyun Restaurant, and used livestock slaughter to accumulate lifespan. He also reunited with Lin Da Niu, acquired body-tempering methods, and cultivated his muscles to the Flesh Vajra limit. 8 9 11 18
After defeating Gao Han, Chu Feng openly attacked Fang Manor. He killed Fang Family retainers, elders, and Fang Jian Xing before breaking through to Bone Forging during his battle with Fang Hanshan, whom he ultimately killed. 21 23 26 37
Li Zhenshan became Chu Feng’s mentor and entrusted him with cultivation methods and a letter for his daughter before dying from injuries inflicted during a demon attack. Chu Feng honored the request by delivering the letter to Li Qingxuan and joining the Demon Suppression Division. 60 71
Within the division, Chu Feng advanced rapidly but became entangled with Pei Yuesheng, who secretly controlled him through poisonous insects. Chu Feng developed concealment arts to hide his true Viscera Refining cultivation, maintaining the appearance of a crippled Bone Forging martial artist while seeking a way to escape Pei’s influence. 85 101 114
He later became a Blade Hunter manager and a Demon Suppression Commander. After reaching Marrow Cleansing, he began pursuing artifact refinement, intending to forge a personal Spirit Weapon capable of supporting his path toward the Martial Saint realm. 130 149 153 179 180
Appearance
In his original form, Chu Feng is an eight-foot-tall, clear-featured and handsome young man. His body has been repeatedly tempered beyond ordinary limits, giving him an imposing, martial bearing. 20 151
- His Bronze Skin Iron Bones physique initially gives his skin a bronze sheen and exceptional resistance to blades. 2
- After advancing the Dark Gold Marrow Polishing Technique, his skin returns to a normal complexion, becomes scarless, and bears subtle lightning-like patterns. 4
- When using Flesh Vajra strength, his muscles bulge into a Vajra-like form and the Kui Niu pattern becomes visible across his body. 18
- He can alter his facial features, musculature, stature, and apparent physique to appear scrawny, burly, or resemble another person. 7 12 106
- He commonly carries a heavy Mò Dāo and later wears the Demon Suppression Division’s Flying Fish Uniform. 34 121
Personality
Chu Feng is pragmatic, vigilant, and intensely survival-driven. He does not trust appearances after Liu Hu’s betrayal and remains suspicious even of apparent benefactors such as Pei Yuesheng. His habit of disguising his cultivation, setting alerts, and leaving behind little evidence reflects a preference for preparation over reckless confidence. 1 26 83 101
He is ruthless toward enemies who threaten him or prey on others. He exterminates Fang Family forces, kills fleeing bandits rather than allowing them to return to their crimes, and carefully disposes of evidence after killing the Blood Eagle Gang’s assassins. 22 97 124
Despite this brutality, Chu Feng protects those he considers deserving of loyalty. He helps Lin Da Niu’s family, accepts Li Zhenshan as his master, supports Ma An’s cultivation, and returns Luo Yinghui’s mother’s hairpin rather than treating it solely as a valuable item. 22 60 89 123
Romance is not a priority for him. He rejects Shen Biyue and Cui Hongzhuang’s advances, believing that his dangerous path of slaughter would place others at risk until he possesses overwhelming strength. 123
