Concluding Remarks

It's finished.

Although there will probably be some extra stories in the series later, updates will be irregular, or even only once a year.

Still, saying there will be extra stories is at least a way of leaving something to look forward to.

Hmm, thinking about it carefully, nearly two years really is a long time. For me, by the later stages of writing this story—especially the final volume—I had already reached a phase without passion or desire.

That was also one of the reasons why, after saying last month that updates would be unstable, they really did become extremely unstable.

Of course, the fact that subscriptions were almost identical on updating and non-updating days also contributed to the ending arriving more slowly.

But the main reason was that I had lost my enthusiasm.

After all, the romance and marriage I wanted to write, along with all the angst and sweetness I could include, had already been mostly completed in the marriage volume. Originally, the story would have gone straight into Anti-Entropy before ending.

But at that time, I thought about it, and according to the plot's development, it would have been difficult for the Anti-Entropy arc to restore the former relationships and daily life between Su Qing'an and those familiar characters.

So a volume combining cyberpunk, a corrupted Immortal, the Sea of Quanta, and a chaotic stew of different world lines came into existence.

Its very existence was the result of an improvised idea. There was no outline, and I didn't even have a main plot in mind. I simply wanted to bring out those familiar or grown-up characters, so when it came time to wrap things up, I could only manage a barely steady landing. There was no particularly stunning plot.
