Divine Assistant Assessment
After listening to Zhang Pianpian's explanation, Zhang Yu asked another question.
"Why can A-Zhen be protected if I take the assessment?"
Resting her chin on one hand, Zhang Pianpian said blandly, "I can act as your recommender and recommend you for the Divine Assistant personnel assessment."
"Once you become a Divine Assistant, you can take on one intern of your own."
Zhang Yu understood. A temp worker outsourcing to an intern, huh.
Zhang Pianpian continued, "After you become an external member of the Eight Divine Departments, I'll take you to Songyang High School and the Student Union for a talk and lend you some backing."
"Over the next half year or so, as long as I remain in Songyang City and haven't gone off to college, they probably won't make things difficult for the two of you."
Go talk to Songyang High School? Lend us backing? What kind of status did you have? How high were your scores? How much money did you have? Could you really hold them up?
Seeming to notice Zhang Yu's doubts and worries, Zhang Pianpian did not say much. She merely replied, "I'm currently ranked first among the third-years at White Dragon High School. I'm also Songyang City's Strongest High School Student."
Songyang City's Strongest! High! School! Student!
If the Zhang Yu of his previous life had heard those words, he would only have thought, Oh, not bad. Pretty impressive.
But hearing Zhang Pianpian say it now, he only felt as though the elder sister before him were radiating blinding light.
Anyone who had attended high school in Songyang City knew the weight those words carried.
It was a title that could only be earned after undergoing round after round of self-destructive cultivation that sold one's soul, pouring out buckets upon buckets
