Ning Yanzhi first appeared at Dihua Ability Institute as an approachable Language Academy newcomer. After fleeing a group of admirers, he sought refuge in Yu Jing’s hospital ward, then repaid Yu Jing by guiding him to the affiliated main hospital and explaining Dihua’s layout. He also warned Yu Jing that the Yu family was a worldwide assassin family, though Yu Jing refused to abandon Yu Xiaoxiao over her relatives’ reputation 49 53.

His ordinary student identity concealed substantial government ties. He bore the Azure Dragon emblem, possessed enough authority to enter restricted government facilities, and was addressed as an Azure Dragon Council member from headquarters.
