"Prince Tyrel, watch out!"

Captain of the Guard Arthas's anxious voice rang out.

Only after Arthas's warning did Tyrel react. A ghostly figure had suddenly appeared at his side, and a strange saber stabbed fiercely toward his vital points.

Tyrel's instincts told him that if that saber struck him, he would die...

Tyrel hurriedly dodged and warily looked at the Forest Troll who had just attacked him.

Like Egilson, this Forest Troll wore a distinctive beast-themed set of armor. But instead of the Eagle God set, it was a lynx set.

"I am the herald of pain!" An immensely powerful Forest Troll shouted as he leaped down at Tyrel from above. His grotesque muscles, imposing size, and war bear armor made it clear he was no weakling.

Having just dodged one attack, Tyrel could no longer avoid this one. Left with no choice, he activated Divine Shield, and the golden barrier blocked the enemy's fierce assault.

With such distinctive beast-themed armor, Tyrel understood that these two were Naralakh and Haralaz, renowned alongside Egilson.

Both Forest Trolls were formidable close-combat fighters. One possessed unrivaled strength, while the other had ghostly speed and lethal power.

Tyrel knew he was no match for the two of them, so he used Blink once again to open the distance.

Seeing Tyrel in danger, Kaelen Sunfury and Arthas, the two Warriors, hurriedly charged over to protect him.

"Are you alright, Tyrel?"

A Warrior's instincts were sharper. Kaelen Sunfury had already judged Naralakh and Haralaz's strength, so he asked with concern whether Tyrel had been injured by their ambush.

"I'm fine."

Divine Shield could block nearly every attack from opponents of the same level, so Tyrel was uninjured. Still, the exhaustion in his soul was unavoidable.

Naralakh and Haralaz were not the only ones who had arrived. There were also Amani War Bear Knights and Amani Headhunters.

Naralakh looked at the High Elf Paladins of the Dawnblade Legion and shouted arrogantly, "Mount the bears and charge, boys! Break through and bring back the enemy's heads!"

Among the Forest Trolls, only heavy cavalry units like the Amani War Bear Knights could break a battle line like the Dawnblade Legion's, clad in the plate armor of the Dawnblade Armor Set.

If they had been warriors of the Sunfury Legion, they would certainly have been able to withstand the Amani War Bear Knights' charge. But the Dawnblade Legion could not yet do so.

That was because the High Elf Paladins of the Dawnblade Legion were not elite enough. Many were new Paladin recruits. Their ability to defeat ordinary Forest Troll warriors came from the advantages of being Paladins.

Under the Amani War Bear Knights' charge, the blocking line formed by the Dawnblade Legion's High Elf Paladins was smashed into disarray.

The Amani Berserker Headhunters surged through the gaps opened by the Amani War Bear Knights. With their formidable combat strength, they prevented the High Elf Paladins from closing the breach.

As elite Forest Troll warriors, the Amani Berserker Headhunters possessed immense fighting power and a frenzied bloodthirsty nature. The more injured they were, the more damage they dealt. Having just fought a bloody battle against the Pathfinder Legion, they were at the height of their power.

Of the two powerful Forest Trolls, Naralakh took the lead. His immense strength and extremely high defense made him fearless. Haralaz, meanwhile, repeatedly lunged with his saber. Their coordination forced Tyrel, Kaelen Sunfury, and Arthas to treat them with the utmost caution.

With Tyrel no longer holding him back, Egilson gathered large-scale Lightning Magic once more. This time, he intended to use his most powerful skill—Thunderstorm—against the Dawnblade Legion.

"Counterspell!" Since Egilson had kept his eyes fixed on Lirath Windrunner, Silencing Shot had lost its effectiveness. At that moment, Luminas Sunscar made her move.

Even among the High Elves, the young Luminas Sunscar was an exceptionally gifted Mage. She had willingly gone to study magic in Dalaran, an environment unlike the Kingdom of Quel'Thalas, and had accumulated extensive practical combat experience.

Counterspell used arcane power to interrupt spellcasting. Egilson, who had just been gathering Thunderstorm, instantly lost control over the raging lightning power, causing some of that violent energy to shock him instead.

As Egilson's energy went out of control due to Counterspell, Valeera Sangunar, who had been lurking in the shadows all along, appeared.

Two emerald-green daggers swiftly stabbed into both sides of Egilson's waist—Kidney Shot.

Rogues were awkward in a frontal life-or-death battlefield, so Tyrel had kept Valeera hidden in the shadows.

No one had expected that, amid such a chaotic battlefield, a Rogue had been waiting in the dark all along.

Egilson could have wept. Why were the High Elves targeting him so relentlessly...?

Having lost control of lightning, Egilson was only somewhat stronger than an ordinary Forest Troll. And the Chestplate of Hidden Intent's only gaps were at both sides of the waist.

"Ah!" Egilson let out a pained cry. Trolls possessed tremendous vitality, but taking a Kidney Shot was still agonizing.

Relying on strength greater than that of Valeera, a female High Elf, Egilson thrust his claw blades at her, forcing Valeera to leap away. Then, ignoring the two daggers lodged in his waist, Egilson completely abandoned the idea of casting any more magic and vanished into the Forest Troll ranks.

The Dawnblade Legion's powerful fighters were all tied down. Looking at the line breached by the Amani War Bear Knights, Mylah Dawncaller gritted her teeth, picked up the shield of a fallen High Elf Paladin, and stepped into the broken line.

Raising her shield, she blocked an Amani Berserker Headhunter's savage attack. Then Mylah Dawncaller drove her sword into the Amani Berserker Headhunter's heart. Even a Troll with formidable vitality would die instantly once its heart was destroyed.

After killing one Amani Berserker Headhunter, Mylah Dawncaller was surrounded and attacked by three more. Although she ultimately used Divine Storm to withstand the three Amani Berserker Headhunters' assault, her abdomen was pierced through by a massive wound.

Another Amani War Bear Knight riding an Amani war bear noticed Mylah Dawncaller. He drove his mount charging toward her, intending to ram the wounded High Elf Paladin to death.

Mylah Dawncaller did not dodge. Instead, she resolutely raised her shield and stood her ground, preparing to take the Amani War Bear Knight's charge head-on.

"The Quel'dorei are invincible!"

The expected result of Mylah Dawncaller being sent flying or trampled to death did not occur. The Amani War Bear Knight stared in disbelief at Mylah Dawncaller, who had forcibly stopped the Amani war bear's charge.

"Die, Troll!" After blocking the Amani War Bear Knight's charge, Mylah Dawncaller used The Reckoning to kill both the Amani war bear and the Forest Troll rider on its back.

A closer look would reveal that the wound originally pierced through by the Amani Berserker Headhunter had actually healed considerably.

That was because, at the critical moment, Mylah Dawncaller had triggered a skill only Grand Paladins of the Protection specialization possessed—Blazing Defender.

It had blocked the damage that would have killed Mylah Dawncaller and granted her a healing effect.
