"This!..."

Soren's expression was hesitant. From his personal point of view, it was necessary for Vivian to become familiar with combat, because an unprecedented period of chaos was about to begin, and she needed to acquire some self-defense skills. However, from another perspective, Soren was reluctant to let her take risks and felt it was too early, after all, she was only eight years old this year.

Sending an eight-year-old girl into battle?

Goria seemed to understand Soren's hesitation. After glancing at the others, she said softly, "Vivian, let them see your Spell."

The little girl nodded, looked around, and whispered, "Shall we perform it here?"

Goria raised her hand to create a Spell barrier, then pointed to the wall and said, "Cast the spell there."

Vivian nodded slightly, and then, to the disbelief of the others, she pointed directly at the wall. An Magic Missile appeared at her fingertip. Without a spell or gesture, the Magic Missile struck the wall instantly, leaving a three-centimeter-deep dent. But this was just the beginning. With a series of 'biu, biu, biu' Spell Aura, eight Magic Missile appeared in succession. The first four blasted a hole in the wall, while the last four struck the open ground outside the wall, leaving dents more than ten centimeters deep.

"Quicken Spell!?"

Soren's expression was priceless; he simply couldn't believe it. Vivian, without uttering any incantations, had unleashed four Spell in quick succession—eight Magic Missile fired in rapid succession, the power of which was equivalent to a higher-level Lesser Missile Storm. Soren silently calculated his own abilities and was astonished to find that he wouldn't even have a chance to retaliate against Vivian; he would be severely injured within a second by her four consecutive instantaneous Magic Missile!

How is this possible?!

How did my sister suddenly become someone I can't even beat?

Soren's expression was somewhat blank. The Halfling's gaping mouth could almost fit an apple. Goria smiled smugly and slowly said, "Because of time constraints, Vivian only learned one or two simple Spell. But with her talent, dealing with ordinary enemies is still very easy."

"When she uses Magic Missile, her abilities are beyond my reach; she's undeniably a genius!"

Missile Storm Carnage Style.

This was a very popular fighting style within the Wizard at the time, because it only required one prerequisite Feat: [Combat Casting].

Magic Missile is the fastest Spell to cast, with no other Spell faster than it, as it only requires one second to cast. This combat style requires a long time to train the [Combat Casting] Feat, and basically has no other requirements, which is commonly known as the mindless 'biubiubiu' tactic.

A level 9 Wizard can have four level 1 Spell Slot. A single Magic Missile can generate five energy projectiles, meaning a total of 20 energy projectiles can be unleashed per second, equivalent to a fully upgraded level 4 Spell, Lesser Missile Storm. If used with the [Empower Spell] Metamagic Feat, all 2nd-level Spell slots can also be filled with level 1 Magic Missile. Furthermore, if used with the [Maximize Spell] Metamagic Feat, all 3rd-level Spell slots can also be filled with level 1 Magic Missile.

If you also have the [Quicken Spell] Feat, you can use your fourth-ring Spell Slot to memorize Magic Missile.

These three Metamagic Feat are used to enhance Spell power, but require additional increases in Spell ability and level. To enhance the effect of a level 1 Spell, a level 2 Spell Slot is needed to memorize it; to maximize the effect, a level 3 Spell Slot is needed; and to make Spell instant-cast, a level 4 Spell Slot is needed.

The legendary mindless Missile Storm style is such an extreme fighting method.

Wizard fight in this style are extremely violent, but also extremely fragile. The destructive power they unleash can be terrifying, but their ability to sustain a fight is quite poor.

He was once jokingly called "the man whose fighting power only lasts for one second!"

For a long time, Wizard using this fighting style determined victory or defeat in a second: either they would utterly annihilate their enemies with Missile Storm, or they would be instantly killed by their enemies, losing their ability to cast spells.

It is both powerful and fragile.

It's suitable for dealing with a single person, but it'll be completely ineffective against two people.

Magic Missile have relatively limited Damage Reduction Constitution. If Spell power is low, a single Magic Missile deals a maximum of 5 damage, so twenty Magic Missile would deal 100 damage. Warrior level 10 and above generally have over 100 Hit Points, and with armor and shield blocking, they can absorb at least 5-10 Magic Missile. Therefore, to use the Missile Storm tactic to kill high-level Warrior, you must memorize Magic Missile for all remaining Spell Slot.

This fighting style is hard to describe.

Because there are Spell that can neutralize the energy of Magic Missile, such as 'Shield of the Shadows', and many pieces of equipment can reduce Spell damage, suppressing burst damage by more than 50%. There are also some skills that can avoid damage, such as the Rogue's Shadow Shift, which completely prevents damage if you avoid it for just one second.

Soren couldn't comment on the effectiveness of this fighting style, but it was excellent for surprise attacks.

Of course, after that, they wouldn't have much fighting power left.

"Hmm."

Vivian withdrew her small, white finger, glanced timidly at Soren, and whispered, "I've used up Spell. I only have one 2nd-level Spell left."

That's right.

It only takes a second.

Vivian used up all her 1st-level Spell, punching a hole in the wall and leaving a ten-centimeter-deep crater in the ground. Her powerful innate attributes granted her extremely high Spell power; combined with the [Spell Prodigy] Feat, the power of her Magic Missile was close to that of a third-tier Wizard, only fewer in number. Later, as her class level increased, the number of Magic Missile would expand to five, the maximum number of Spell.

"My God!" The Halfling reached out and touched the hole in the wall, then peered out at the crater, muttering, "I couldn't even last a second against a little girl!"

"Should I go back to farming?"

It seems that Soren wasn't the only one affected; the Halfling beside him were also frightened.

Dodging Magic Missile is about as difficult as dodging bullets; it's nearly impossible for anyone but Legendary Tier professional to do it. Although it used up most of her Spell Slot at once, the destructive power was so great that even Soren and the Halfling beside him couldn't withstand it. In just half a month, Vivian had somehow acquired the ability to severely injure or even instantly kill them!

Soren fell silent.

He didn't know how to evaluate Vivian's combat power. While her explosive power was indeed astonishing, her fighting style was all about one move; once she finished casting her Spell, she was essentially useless. On the other hand, if used at the right time, she could severely injure or even instantly kill an enemy, and in crucial moments, she could be used to save the world.

Wizard fight in this style have always been both loved and hated, and many people hesitate about whether or not to cooperate with them.

It's terrifying when it erupts, and afterwards you have to protect it to memorize the Spell.

--Mending.

Goria gently waved her hand, repairing the damaged wall. Then, she glanced at Soren and said slowly, "With Vivian's abilities, she should be able to help. After all, she's not an ordinary child. You should let her learn and experience more things. This will strengthen her will and be very helpful for her future."

Soren remained silent.

He remained silent for a long while before sighing and saying, "Alright. Vivian will go with you this time, but you must protect her well."

The little girl's face instantly lit up with a joyful and excited smile. She jumped into Soren's arms, clinging to him like a koala, and planted a kiss on his cheek. She giggled, "Brother is so good! Vivian will definitely be good and won't run off!"

Goria nodded solemnly, then beckoned the little girl over, pinned an exquisite badge to her chest, and whispered a few words in her ear. As a high-ranking Northern Witch, Goria was clearly aware of the drawbacks of this fighting style, but it was undoubtedly the most suitable for the little girl. After all, at her current age, she couldn't use many of the Wizard ' techniques. The fighting style of a high-ranking Spellcaster, besides extensive knowledge, also requires a great deal of experience.

She should first familiarize herself with some simple and brutal fighting methods!

The matter was settled.

A little girl has joined Soren's battle lineup. Although she may seem insignificant, she is not to be underestimated!
