The value of wizards

This feeling is just too awful.

Without Transcendent Tier weapons, fighting supernatural Hit Points is like cutting flesh with a dull knife—even more painful. Soren and Aladdin exchanged a glance, both showing a hint of helplessness as they looked at each other's slightly dulled weapons. Supernatural Equipment is scarce, especially suitable weapons; often, they need to be custom-made. The Supernatural Weapon available on the market are mostly commonplace, not very effective for Rogue like them who value skill. (Warrior have much lower requirements for weapons.)

"Elder brother."

Once the battle was over, Goria led Vivian over by the hand. The little girl followed obediently behind, and when she saw the slightly dulled blades of Soren and Vivian's weapons, she whispered, "Let me help you fix them."

--"Mending."

This is a commonly used 0-level Spell by Wizard. With a flick of the little girl's white finger, a faint Spell Aura appeared, and Soren's blade was repaired, almost back to its original state. Mending is a very useful Level 0 Cantrip; it can be used to repair most non- Transcendent Tier equipment, provided it's not completely damaged. If Wizard is highly skilled, they can also do something like Goria, snapping their fingers to completely repair a messy, shattered room's furniture.

Vivian has a lot of Level 0 Cantrip, about twice as many as other low-level Wizard!

The Halfling had just taken a whetstone out of his bag, intending to sharpen his short sword, but upon seeing Vivian cast Spell, he immediately offered her the weapon with a fawning smile, saying, "Little girl, could you repair mine too?"

"Mmm." Vivian nodded gently, then pointed with her fair, white finger.

The short sword in the Halfling was quickly repaired, but in that short time, Vivian had already used up two 0-level Spell slots.

Low-level Spellcaster will never have enough Spell Slot.

As the Elemental Energy within his body dissipated, the Earth Elemental's corpse quickly began to weather away, its rock-based form collapsing and scattering onto the ground like sand. At the same time, a corner of a dark, Obsidian- like stone was revealed. Aladdin quickly cleared away the soil and sand, picked up the smooth, dark stone, and handed it directly to Soren, asking, "This thing is only worth 500 Gold Daler?"

"Hmm." Soren nodded, took the Elemental Core, and placed it in front of Goria, saying, "You should have studied Golem before; can you tell its quality?"

The quality of this Elemental Core is determined by the strength of the Earth Elemental.

Earth Elemental are CR 15, but there are also some level 16 and 17 Earth Elemental. Generally, higher-level Elemental Core are of better quality and can be used to create better Golem.

Goria took it and glanced at it, a faint Spell Aura appearing at her fingertips. She then said, "The quality should be above average. In the North, it could sell for seven or eight hundred Gold Daler. Water and wind Elemental Core Elemental Core are common in the North, and there's a greater demand for other Elemental Core."

Prices naturally vary from region to region.

In the south, there are around 500 Gold Daler, but in the North, the number can reach as high as 700 or 800.

"So valuable? A single Diamond is only five or six hundred Gold Daler, right?" The Halfling's Neutral gleamed with gold. His previous fatigue from the battle vanished without a trace, replaced by boundless energy. He exclaimed excitedly, "Then let's continue! I just saw about ten more inside; together they're probably worth eight or nine thousand Gold Daler!"

Soren also stood up.

The Earth Elemental just now gave 2550 Slaughter Experience, and the other Earth Elemental should give about the same. If he clears them all out, he should be able to get around 30,000 Slaughter Experience. This is the only opportunity he has in the early game where he can relatively counter monsters, challenge them across ranks, and there isn't much risk involved. He'll rarely encounter opportunities like this to farm Slaughter Experience in the future, since Elemental Life rarely appear in the Material Plane. Of the four elements, he can only suppress the slow and durable Earth Elemental.

Earth Elemental have agility of 10-12 points, while strength and Constitution are close to 20 points, or even higher. Soren's Superhuman Dexterity completely counters this; as long as one is careful and doesn't act rashly, they are unlikely to be hit. This is similar to how Soren initially hesitated to confront Ogre head-on; a significant difference in a single attribute can easily create a suppressive effect. Therefore, any professional in the Legendary Domain will not allow themselves to have a significant weakness in any particular attribute.

Of course, charm is an exception!

The "beast style" is all the rage lately; real men don't care about charm anymore.

Goria frowned slightly. She glanced at the two of them and said slowly, "You're too slow. The Spell won't have enough time to clear out these monsters. I rarely repeat Spell, and without Spell to enhance your abilities, you'll be at risk fighting the Earth Elemental."

Spell Slot.

The greatest limitation for Wizard is also the tool that balances the gap between them.

Although Goria has many Spell Slot Spell Slot —as a high-ranking Witch she possesses one or two times more than other Wizard —she still needs to retain Spell for healing, Spell, Spell, and control. She likely only memorized one or two Spell Spell the one just now; she wouldn't waste a large number of Spell Slot on them. As expected, she is the wealthy, beautiful, and powerful Northern Witch.

She had absolutely no recollection of the Magic Weapon and Spell that were essential for a group of losers.

It's important to know that this was the most frequently used Spell by low-level Wizard before they acquired Supernatural Equipment, generally used to buff the top burst damage dealers in the team. She quickly took out an inconspicuous Spell Scroll, opened it, and activated it with her mana. Immediately afterward, a Spell Aura landed on Soren's Scimitar.

In an instant.

Soren, originally Scimitar of ordinary quality, has now become like this:

And so, a Tier 2 Supernatural Weapon was born.

Goria is a high-ranking Witch, and her enhancements are far more powerful than those of other Wizard, allowing her to directly break through from the Tier 1 to the Tier 2. However, her limit is only the Tier 2 Supernatural Weapon. Only 'high-level Magic Weapon ' can be enhanced to higher ranks, and there are even Spell like ' Legendary Magic Weapon,' but unfortunately, very few people learn them.

She glanced at Soren and said softly, "It can only last twenty minutes. You'd better hurry."

Spell, of course, only provide temporary enhancements.

True Supernatural Equipment requires special materials and Alchemy to forge. Soren glanced at the Scimitar's attributes and his confidence surged. "It's enough for me to take them down."

Aladdin, who was watching with envy, also came over with two short swords, craning his neck to look at her with longing.

Goria glanced down at the Halfling and said calmly, "There's only one scroll. You'll have to make do with this for now."

Aladdin was somewhat disappointed, but he quickly followed after them.

Soren's weapon, enhanced by Spell to become Tier 2 Supernatural Equipment, naturally served as the main source of damage. When the Halfling attracted another Earth Elemental, he immediately rushed over, jumped up, and slashed fiercely at the Earth Elemental's neck.

A row of documents appeared:

"Target hit."

"You launched a slashing attack against the Earth Elemental!... Dealing 7 (+2) physical damage!... Dealing an additional 1 energy damage!..."

"You have successfully provoked the target."

Although it only dealt 8 points of damage, the weapon enchantment doubled Soren's damage output!

His initial strike only dealt about 4 points of damage; it would take two strikes to equal the damage of his current one. As he twisted and slashed back, the damage that was originally only 2 or 3 points on the surface of the Earth Elemental rock turned into 6 or 7 points of damage. The solid rock was even cleaved with a mark two or three centimeters deep. This is the penetration and Sharpness effect of Tier 2 Supernatural Weapon, which can break through the protective armor of enemies with natural armor to a certain extent.

It's a pity it's not the most powerful [Armor Piercing] attribute, otherwise it could slice through its inherent Elemental Armor like tofu.

Six cuts!

Each of Soren's strikes dealt an additional 1 point of energy damage. He landed six consecutive blows on the Earth Elemental Earth Elemental's arm, severing it from the shoulder. Wielding the Supernatural Weapon, Soren's combat prowess was off the charts. He didn't even need Aladdin to intervene; with just a little cover, Soren had already severed two of the Earth Elemental's arms and half a leg.

With a final slash, the Earth Elemental's head was severed from its neck!
