In the dimly lit room.

Soren carefully took out the heavy stone. Vivian had been spending time with Goria lately, and at night she was also being taught by the Northern Witch. Perhaps she had sensed something, because the little girl was clearly working much harder than before. She had almost finished reading Book Collection Goria carried with her. At this rate, she would soon become a qualified Wizard. Soren also thought it was good for the little girl to learn more, after all, it wasn't easy to find a high-ranking Witch to teach her.

He held the heavy stone in his palm and attempted to examine it; soon a list of data appeared:

Item type: Elemental Crystal)

Item Tier: [Tier 1 Legendary Item]

Item Description: A special treasure from the Elemental Plane of Earth, formed from the essence of the earth into a crystal, imbued with unique magic. When activated, it can unleash powerful Spell. It does not appear to be a standalone item; the patterns on its edges suggest it was once part of another object.

Equipment requirements: None.

Special effects: Summon Earth Elemental (1 time/7 days), Stoneskin (1 time/3 days).

Tier 1 Legendary Equipment.

A smile crept across Soren's lips. After so long, he had finally obtained his first Legendary Equipment. Equipment that could increase attributes was extremely rare in this world; most equipment produced additional effects or allowed the casting of certain Spell. For example, Wizard's staff—most staffs couldn't increase their Spell power; their most common effect was storing Spell. Goria's Bag of Holding contained a staff that stored Spell.

Staffs are used more often than Spell Scroll, but they cannot store higher-level Spell.

There's a relatively simple rule for determining whether an item is Legendary Tier: Legendary Item automatically regenerate spellcasting charges and have lower usage requirements. While staves cannot be used without the corresponding Feat, many Legendary Item can still be used even without spellcasting abilities. Soren's Bag of Holding contains a Withered Wooden Wand, a staff-like weapon imbued with Spell that have a set number of uses.

However, Legendary Equipment doesn't have that many uses; most Legendary items can automatically regenerate over time.

"Summon Earth Elemental."

Soren gently stroked the smooth stone, murmuring, "This seems to be a sixth-circle Spell. Although it can only Angel, it's enough to handle many situations."

Earth Elemental are around CR 15, so summoning an Earth Elemental helper would be incredibly beneficial.

Just watching Soren hack and slash for so long shows how strong their tanking ability is. These things can go toe-to-toe with the Iron Golem for quite a while.

The second Spell that can be used is ' Stoneskin ', one of the Wizard's most important Abjuration Spell!

If Mage Armor can only block one or two attacks, then Stoneskin allows Wizard to stand in a crowd and let them attack him repeatedly. Mage Armor provides at most a few dozen points of protection, and even Greater Mage Armor only provides around a hundred points, but Stoneskin can withstand over a hundred and fifty points of physical attack. At Soren's current full-power burst attack strength of around thirty points per strike, he would need at least four or five strikes to break through Stoneskin's Protection from Energy.

However, the Stoneskin also has a drawback: it reduces Stoneskin. Agility will decrease by about 2 points.

Because it's not an energy field like Mage Armor, Stoneskin can be broken by high-intensity attacks, but it can significantly reduce the damage received.

"Summon Earth Elemental [6th-Level Spell]: After casting the Spell, a Portal will be opened connecting to the Elemental Plane of Earth, summoning an Earth Elemental with a base Hit Points of 12, with a 10% chance of summoning Advanced Earth Elemental Hit Points of 16, a 5% chance of summoning an Elite Earth Elemental with a base Hit Points of 20, and a 1% chance of summoning Earth Elemental Lord or Earth Elemental Elder."

After a successful spellcasting, the Earth Elemental has a 10% chance of attacking the Spellcaster. The Spellcaster must complete a will check; success grants control over the Earth Elemental's will. The Earth Elemental will then act according to the Spellcaster's will. The difficulty of the will check depends on the Earth Elemental's level. Higher-level Earth Elemental are more likely to trigger the will check.

Base Hit Points is the minimum Hit Points for each level. If the Hit Points is 12, then 10 CR would have at least 120 Hit Points. Soren's Rogue class has a base Hit Points of 6, Wizard class has a base Hit Points of 4. So if you summon Earth Elemental with a base Hit Points of 20, its tanking ability can even withstand Dragon for a period of time.

Any supernatural being will have a much higher base Hit Points stat!

Furthermore, this base number of Hit Points can be increased by Constitution. That is to say, as long as you have more than 10 points of Constitution, you will get an extra 1 point of Hit Points for every 2 points of Constitution you have.

That's why supernatural creatures have such vigorous Hit Points; they don't die even after being stabbed so many times!

Soren was the same.

The higher Hit Points, the stronger one's Hit Points. An ordinary person will feel dizzy and lightheaded if they lose a little blood, but as long as the blood loss does not exceed the fatal threshold, their combat power will not be reduced too much. Hit Points is reflected in many other aspects, such as the reaction after being poisoned, the effect of resisting some lethal Spell, and the impact on strength when Heavy Injury Condition, etc.

"Stoneskin [Fourth Ring Spell]: After casting the Spell, the Spellcaster will be covered in a layer of Stone Skin energy, absorbing any physical damage with an attack strength of 10 or less. Each point of Spell energy increases the damage absorption effect by 1 point. Attacks below the Protection from Energy absorption effect will not cause any damage to the Spellcaster. The maximum damage absorption is 200 points. Stoneskin, the caster's Agility will be reduced by 2 points."

Stoneskin is highly dependent on spell level and Spell power. A standard Stoneskin only protects against attacks with a power level of 10 or lower. If an ordinary person were to use a sword at full power, it would take about twenty strikes to break through the Protection from Energy, during which time the Spellcaster would not suffer any damage. However, if a professional were to use it, and the attack power exceeded 10, the damage would be negated by the Protection from Energy. A sword strike that could rip open a belly might only sever the muscle layer.

Ten points of Spell power can increase the attack power of Stoneskin Protection to 20 points.

Therefore, the Stoneskin cast by Wizard approaching Legendary level is the most troublesome, as any physical attack below 40 points cannot break through their protective Stone Skin.

Soren would need to unleash [Sword Momentum - Heavy Chop] at least five times to break through the Protection from Energy of Stoneskin!

Of all the Abjuration Spell, the best is probably the Mage Armor (AT Field), because it's an Energy Protection Field. Unfortunately, the Mage Armor has limited damage resistance and can be easily broken after one or two hits. Therefore, in high-intensity battles, Wizard should prioritize casting Stoneskin on themselves, as it can withstand more attacks and lasts for a considerable time.

Soren carefully put the piece of equipment away.

This was the best Legendary Equipment he could acquire before the start of the Time of Troubles. With it, he could even try Dragon Slayer. Of course, not the kind of dragon he encountered today, but more common ones like Pteranodon, Landwyrm, and Wyvern. If White Dragon were willing to fight him on the ground, Soren was about 50% confident he could kill a Adult White Dragon. This was because White Dragon were the lowest-ranking of the Chromatic Dragon; among the Black Dragon, Red Dragon, Green Dragon, and other Chromatic Dragon species, White Dragon had the weakest spellcasting abilities.

They are commonly found in the destinations of Soren, which are the regions of the Land of Ice and Snow.

When Soren thought about slaying Dragon Slayer, he seriously considered his chances of Dragon Slayer. This was because there was a very powerful advanced class among Sorcerer called the Dragonblooded Sorcerer.

There are only two ways to advance Dragonblooded Sorcerer. The first way is to awaken Dragonkind bloodline on one's own. While retaining the Sorcerer's spellcasting ability, one continuously gains attribute bonuses from the Dragonkind bloodline. This advancement method has extremely high requirements and is mostly produced among Half-Dragon. It is very difficult for those with too diluted Dragonkind bloodlines to advance to Dragonblooded Sorcerer.

The second method is to Dragon Slayer!

Sorcerer possess a unique Bloodline Talent, granting them a powerful ability to fuse and absorb elements. Even Sorcerer without Dragonkind blood can transfer Dragonkind abilities to themselves through a special advancement ritual after Dragon Slayer. After this ritual, the Sorcerer can advance to become Dragonblooded Sorcerer, retaining their original spellcasting abilities without any weakening, but gaining bonuses to Dragonkind strength, Constitution, intelligence, and charisma.

Dragonblooded Sorcerer at around level 10 can gain approximately 12 points of additional attribute bonus. [24 class levels]

Furthermore, their base Hit Points points become the same as Warrior (10 points). Upon reaching Legendary, their Hit Points are on par with a Barbarian (12 points), making them a boss-level character among mages who can cast spells and engage in melee combat, almost like they've been cheated.

then.

Many Sorcerer died on the path to advancing their dragon veins, but those who succeeded became extremely powerful.

They like to call themselves "Dragonborn".

Dragonblooded Sorcerer undoubtedly have great potential for growth, but their drawback is that the Slaughter Experience required to reach a certain level is about three times that of other advanced classes. They are subject to the experience penalty that Dragonkind inflict during their growth. Just as Dragonkind take hundreds of years to mature, their strength is also subject to similar limitations.

Dragonblooded Sorcerer are the only Spellcaster among all casters who do not need to reach a high rank (class level 15) or undergo any transformation rituals to possess Spellcaster lifespan exceeding five hundred years [they do not age].

Theoretically, a level 10 Dragonblooded Sorcerer can live for 2000 years.

Soren felt that if possible, he should try to help Vivian advance to the level of Dragonblooded Sorcerer, and the sooner the better.

If she really is Godsbane!

By advancing and improving in this way, once she enters the Legendary Domain, it's hard to say who will win even against a fallen Deity!
