Newborn
Shipwreck Bay is teeming with prostitutes, and after nightfall, they almost fill a whole row.
In places like these, the sex industry is always at its most developed. Sailors returning from a voyage, pirates who have just finished robbing a bunch of stolen goods, guards of various merchant caravans, and Adventurer passing through—after drinking their fill in the bustling taverns, their next entertainment is to find some beautiful women and then relax for a good night. There are women from all over the world here, and if you can afford the price, you can even find smuggled Elf Slave, though these can't be brought out into the open.
Otherwise, it will anger many powerful forces.
The most common items displayed here are Half-Elf, whose prices are several times higher than those of ordinary women. They are ostracized by Elf and are also difficult for humans to accept.
The status of any Half-breed species is actually quite awkward!
Of course, this place isn't just filled with brothels; there are countless underground casinos and all sorts of places to satisfy strange fetishes. However, Soren didn't relax here, because having spent years operating in the Gray Zone, he knew all too well how much trouble such places could breed. For example, he had just seen a woman who was extremely alluring, with full breasts, a slender waist, long legs, and very fair skin. Her eyes held a hint of seduction, and when she noticed Soren, she gave him a flirtatious wink, her appearance exceptionally captivating.
She is a very beautiful woman!
But Soren's expression was full of vigilance. He slightly interlaced his fingers, then bowed and walked past her.
The alluring prostitute looked slightly taken aback. Then a playful glint appeared at the corner of her mouth, and she subtly nodded, showing off her finger where an antique ring dangled. She then turned her gaze elsewhere. Even seeking pleasure in the Shipwreck Bay required a degree of tact. There was no shortage of fools here who would lose their lives due to their lack of discernment. The consequence of being blinded by lust could very well be waking up one morning as some kind of monster, or simply becoming a blood-sucking corpse.
That was a Vampire.
It should be Dark Creature of Bloodline level; high-ranking Vampire rarely come out to hunt on their own.
That's right.
There are lots of Vampire here!
In any city with a thriving sex industry, a considerable number of Vampire lurk in the shadows. They too need wealth to sustain their lives, especially since these creatures are naturally drawn to a luxurious lifestyle. They also require a plentiful food source, and seducing lustful prey is undoubtedly the best way to achieve this. If you were to approach this beautiful Vampire, you would find her incredibly alluring, as Charm Spell has been cast upon you.
You then follow her away, entering a dark alleyway. Perhaps through twists and turns, amidst sexually suggestive and provocative encounters, you unknowingly arrive at a somewhat eerie place. You might even find yourself in a sewer chamber. You'll then discover that the room contains not only one beautiful woman, but also other alluring women who gaze at you with hungry eyes, arousing intense sexual excitement.
What follows is a grand feast!
If you are handsome and Toughness enough, you might experience unimaginable pleasure among a group of Vampire, and after you've had your fun, it'll be their turn to feast. Even Quasi-Legendary Professional might not be able to escape from a group of Vampire, because there are even more powerful beings in their lair. These women are their servants. They seduce pleasure-seekers, kill them, seize their wealth, and then offer it to the masters who turned them into Vampire.
The scene was both beautiful and cruel.
You can enjoy yourself among a group of glamorous Vampire, but unfortunately, you'll be thrown into a stinking ditch the next day.
Hmm. It must be your corpse.
The Grey Domain and Dark Domain overlap too much; Soren has encountered no fewer than a hundred Vampire, and he has even witnessed the entire process of Vampire hunting its prey.
These creatures are filthy, Evil, depraved, and lewd; they show no mercy when killing their prey!
The Vampire in the story don't actually exist. When they started feeding on humans, they themselves became increasingly corrupted and dark.
Soren found an Inn on the street just ahead.
There weren't many customers inside. Drunkards could be seen in the corner. A barmaid was wiping things down, and behind the bar sat a middle-aged woman who looked rather robust; a woman who appeared robust was obviously not simple. Soren quickly booked a room and followed the barmaid upstairs. The woman swayed her hips and even turned back to give him a flirtatious wink. Since wearing this cloak, Soren's luck with women had improved dramatically; he had received countless flirtatious glances along the way.
Upon entering the room, he immediately closed the door, ignoring the barmaid's advances.
Inn in this world are all the same; you get tired of them after a while. Soren took off his clothes, lit a candle, and started reading. The room wasn't well soundproofed, and he could hear the noise from downstairs. Soren took out Spell Scroll and flipped through it, occasionally picking up a quill to jot things down. Soon, he had filled five or six sheets of paper. Heavy footsteps sounded outside the door, as if a creature of enormous weight had passed by. He also heard the clanging of armor.
Time passed little by little.
Soren had no intention of staying up all night. Just as he was packing up to rest, he heard a noise outside the window.
A woman's moan.
He frowned and walked to the second-floor window. He could see a burly, drunken man, reeking of alcohol, slumped in a woman's arms, kissing her wildly. The silvery moonlight shone down, making the woman's skin appear deathly pale. She made a few feigned cries, then her expression turned cold, her pupils slightly changing color, and fangs appeared at the corners of her mouth. She then bit down on the man's neck. Large gushes of blood gushed from the artery, and the woman sucked on it with ecstatic fervor. The man, still lost in the sight of her breasts, was completely unaware of the impending death.
Charm Spell.
Vampire ' Charm Spell are unique; they don't wake the target when they use their blood-draining attacks.
The other party was unaware of Soren's gaze. This seemed to be a newly born Vampire, because Vampire from established families wouldn't hunt outside, as it would easily cause too much trouble. They would hide in corners and sneak around in dark Basement. Newly born Vampire couldn't control their desires; most of them were extremely thirsty. So the man in front of them died quickly, only sliding to the ground like mud after he had eaten his fill.
The woman glanced around, then prepared to leave.
Soren frowned slightly, a thoughtful expression on his face. He tapped on the window, opened it, glanced down, and said slowly, "Didn't your elders teach you how to hunt? You just leave the carcass here after you've eaten?"
Sizzle!
The woman, who was just about to leave, suddenly turned around, her pupils glowing with an eerie green light. Sharp fangs were exposed, and her fingernails turned sharp and black. She crouched slightly, a standard pouncing hunting stance. However, her target was the second floor. Soren's expression remained calm as he coldly glanced at her and said, "If I were you, I wouldn't do that, because it's a very foolish thing to do."
"Throw the body into the sewer ahead, then clean up the blood."
"After you've finished all this, come to me. I have something I want to talk to you about. I don't think you'll refuse an invitation from a well-meaning stranger, will you? You defector?"
Finally, Soren's expression turned amused as he slowly said, "You've got some nerve! A newborn dared to rebel! And you actually succeeded."
The woman hesitated for a moment, then picked up the corpse from the ground with one hand.
The man weighed an estimated two hundred pounds, which she carried effortlessly with one hand. After cleaning up the bloodstains, she headed towards the sewer ahead.
Soren glanced at her retreating figure and added, "Remember to treat the wound on her neck, make it look like she's been bled out."
The other person nodded slightly.
Soren didn't close the window. He walked to the bedside and sat down, his expression somewhat uncertain, as if he were deep in thought. After a while, he put on the cloak beside him, then donned the Battle Master's Gloves. Weapons appeared in his hands one by one, then disappeared. Newborn Vampire are very impulsive and highly aggressive; he'd better be careful, as they could attack at any moment.
A well-mannered Vampire wouldn't hunt like that.
Even the one he had encountered before knew to lure his prey to a graveyard and then dispose of the carcass after eating his fill.
This is clearly an ill-mannered newborn!
After Vampire completes their transformation, they are mentored by an elder for a long period, Church survival skills, and confined to their homes. While Vampire are powerful, this is only relative to mortals. Dark Creature that dare to openly appear can be wiped out by Legendary Professional without the intervention of Deity. That one was a newborn; it didn't look like a wanderer. Wandering Vampire are experienced and extremely vigilant; they would never expose themselves like that.
This is a defector.
The fact that a newly born Vampire could rebel undoubtedly piqued Soren's curiosity, and he seemed to have thought of something interesting.
Snap!
The sound of climbing came from outside the wall; it was very quiet, but it did not escape Soren's notice.
The newly born Vampire contorted her body with astonishing flexibility, then slipped through a narrow window, landing lightly on the ground. She then fixed her eerie green eyes on Soren and slowly asked, "Who are you?"
Soren smiled, raised an eyebrow slightly, and said softly, "Who I am isn't important. What's important is that I know you're in trouble, and I happen to be able to help you. Of course, I also need you to do me a favor."
He narrowed his eyes slightly, a cold glint appearing in them.
