A Valuable Woman! Third Update
(You guys are awesome, you found the female pirate model right after I finished writing. Except for the hair color, it's pretty much what I envisioned. She has that wild feel with some Amazon blood, and she's got big breasts too. --Stunned Futuzi)
The story isn't actually that complicated.
Shortly after her marriage, Adele's mother went on a sea Travel with her husband, but they unexpectedly encountered the pirate captain "Killer Whale." The pirates robbed their ship and killed everyone on board. Only her mother was spared because of her beauty, and she was then captured and subjected to some unsavory acts. This semi-imprisonment continued until Adele was born, and her mother later died for some reason.
When she wasn't very old.
What happened next was simple: she was raised by the pirate captain "Killer Whale." Having a daughter, this notorious pirate leader surprisingly considered retiring. He originally planned to leave his daughter a large inheritance and then find a secluded place far from the sea to live in seclusion, but unexpectedly, he was betrayed by his own pirate. Adele was not a weak woman; on the contrary, she inherited a quarter of Amazon blood from her father.
So she decided to take revenge!
This woman recruited many followers and also used her father's past reputation to win over a group of people.
However, a woman alone lacked both strength and prestige. Although she possessed a ship and a group of men, she was no match for the ' Sea Wolf ' who had plotted against her father. Just then, she heard news of a merchant ship laden with gold and jewels, and she made a very bold decision: to attempt to seize this wealth. Although she knew it was dangerous, she believed that even if she only managed to capture a ship or gain some benefit, she could have enough wealth to recruit more soldiers.
Because this wealth is simply too enormous!
However, it seems her plan failed, because before it even began, her men were all killed by Soren, and she herself became Soren's prisoner.
"These trash think they can rob the Betrayer Chamber of Commerce?"
Soren's lips curled into a slight smile, tinged with Taunt: "I really don't know if you're smart or stupid, or perhaps you're just like those stories where all you have are big breasts and no brains."
Adele's pale face flushed crimson, a hint of anger flashing across her face, as if Soren's words had pierced her soul, making her realize how foolish her decision had been. At the same time, she noticed a tear in her clothing at the chest; the ropes binding her made her full breasts appear even more prominent, creating a shameful curve. However, Soren's bindings were rather simple and crude; she couldn't even move an inch.
"It seems like keeping you alive isn't very valuable!"
Soren narrowed his eyes slightly, the Dagger flashing between his fingertips like afterimages. His Versatile Hands had greatly enhanced the dexterity of his fingers, making it difficult for his opponent to even discern the outline of the Dagger. He crouched down in front of the female pirate, staring into her pupils, and said in a low voice, "Aside from the wealth left by your deceased father, it seems you don't possess anything of great value!"
"You saw it too."
"My target is also the caravan of those Betrayer. If I get Betrayer wealth, what your father left behind will be nothing."
Do you think I should let you live? After all, I don't really like letting an enemy go!
"Perhaps we should turn you into Undead; that way you might still be of some use."
Adele's face was noticeably paler. She struggled for a moment, her expression filled with despair, and said, "I... I can pledge my allegiance to you!... I can serve you!... My father left behind many things, including a hidden treasure map!... It's said to lead to a mysterious place!...
Treasure map?
Soren revealed a hint of interest, glanced at her, and said, "I don't believe in lip service to loyalty, and your loyalty is cheap to me. Perhaps you're considered a skilled pirate on the South Coast, but in the grand scheme of the world, you're nothing but an ant. As for serving me, I must admit your body is very attractive. However, I learned a lesson in the Underdark: the more beautiful a woman, the more dangerous she is, especially if she might be your enemy."
"But!..."
As Adele's spirits sank lower and her expression grew increasingly desperate, Soren suddenly drew his Dagger. His target wasn't her throat, but the ropes binding her. Soren cut the ropes, looked into her eyes, and said, "I sense you're of some use to me. I just happen to need an accomplice like you."
"I don't really care if you betray me, but you'd better think carefully about the consequences of betraying me. I don't want to skin such a beautiful woman alive with my own hands."
I will give you the respect you deserve, but I hope you will live up to my respect.
Soren took a small step back, observing the other woman's reaction. The female pirate's beautiful face clearly showed a momentary pause, but she didn't react too strongly. Instead, she asked with a complex expression, "What do you want?...?"
"I want so many things."
Soren relaxed slightly, but remained prepared for battle. He said in a deep voice, "Your existence is of some use to me, but not much. I will help you take revenge, help you kill Sea Wolf, and become the biggest pirate captain in Shipwreck Bay. Once you have enough value, I will tell you what I want."
"Don't try to do anything foolish. You should know that I didn't even try my best at the beginning."
"I don't want to regret my decision to let you go."
Soren kicked a chair over, leaned against the door, thought for a moment, and said in a deep voice, "Since you inherited your mother's name, you should know where your mother and her husband's territory is, right? Don't tell me you don't know this; I don't believe your father didn't have designs on the inheritance rights."
"Your father killed a nobleman, yet he lived a long and healthy life. He must have done it very cleanly back then, right?"
"Everyone involved has been silenced, right?"
Adele's expression was complicated, and she seemed somewhat unable to follow Soren's train of thought, but after a moment's hesitation, she said, "Yes. My mother and her husband's territory was in the Western Shire, near Grizzly Hills. My father did intend for me to inherit the territory, since my bloodline might be able to evade the priest's Spell detection. However, that territory has already been inherited by someone else, who should be considered my cousin. My father had thought of having me replace him as heir, but he encountered an accident before he could even take any action."
Soren nodded upon hearing this and said, "Very good."
"I see the shining qualities of a pirate in you. I enjoy dealing with people like you because you're not at all pedantic."
"Congratulations!"
"Your value to me has increased significantly, and perhaps I can help you get what you want. A woman seeking revenge doesn't necessarily need to become a pirate; with sufficient wealth, there are many ways to assassinate her target!"
"You also yearn for an extraordinary life, don't you?"
Soren moved closer, their breaths almost touching. He gazed into the other's eyes and said slowly, "This is the nature of Amazon Women. You possess that innate wildness of Amazon Women!"
She was unwilling to be subordinate to a man.
Amazon women are just that complicated; they love to compete with men!
Although the woman before her was beautiful, with striking features reminiscent of Western noblewomen—such as snow-white skin and a high-bridged nose—she also possessed distinct Amazon Women traits, especially in her eyes, which held a hidden wildness. Such a woman would never desire a life of domesticity, nor even the life of a noblewoman could satisfy her. The innate ferocity of Amazon Women meant that these women harbored a warlike gene deep within their bones.
Her ability to reach the fourth rank is probably related to her Amazon Women bloodline!
Amazon Women are more likely to become professionals than men in other regions due to their warlike nature. Although the Amazon population is not large, a significant proportion of them are mid- to low-level professionals. With a little training, these women can become qualified Warrior, and sometimes they can even do better.
Soren seemed to be deep in thought.
After a moment's thought, he looked at the other person and said, "I will drop you off at an island near the strait ahead and leave you enough food. This battle caused by the wealth of the Betrayer is not something someone of your strength can participate in. You would only be another person sent to their death."
"You stay there to recover, and I'll come back to pick you up and take you away."
"Certainly."
"You can try to escape. To me, it's just losing one pawn, but to you, it's losing a crucial opportunity. You can use this time to think carefully about how far you can go without my help. I don't really like forcing women."
Soren turned and walked out of the captain's cabin, leaving the female pirate behind with a complicated expression.
Yes.
Soren wasn't particularly concerned. Not killing her would only mean losing a few thousand Slaughter Experience; he could let her go and have plenty of opportunities to reap the rewards later. However, if she could truly become his ally, his Soren plans would undoubtedly be much easier. He still wanted many things; dealing with the Time of Troubles alone wouldn't be enough, even if he reached the Legendary Domain. The woman before him was still very valuable, and he hoped his decision would yield the results he desired.
If it fails.
That's not a big problem, because the core of everything still lies in the Overseas Islands.
