In the fishy, salty sea breeze.

Soren watched the female pirate gradually swim to the shore, then ordered the Ghost Ship to leave. Soren was only about 50% sure if his target would be waiting for him there. In the initial conversation, he had already incorporated psychological suggestion with his Fear Gaze and deliberately created a sense of oppression. If this hadn't achieved the desired effect, it only meant that his skills in this area weren't quite there yet; after all, he wasn't good at everything.

The Ghost Ship began to accelerate, and the mist moved along with the dilapidated hull.

As Soren approached the deep sea, and the horizon widened before him, the Seawater gradually changing from azure to deep blue, he knew he had reached Naga territory. The Naga were not the rulers of the ocean; the world's oceans teemed with dangerous creatures, and even the Shark-man and Naga Siren only occupied small portions of their domains. The number of Ocean Monster was vast, especially in the Underwater Abyss abyss, near the sunken continental shelf—a place even the Sea Monster dared not easily venture.

Because there is very strong energy radiation there!

This is a disaster left over from the Arcane Empire era, and it hasn't changed even after thousands of years. The central region of the ocean is a dangerous area, where octopuses can grow to the size of Squid King, reaching lengths of around 14 meters, capable of capsizing a ship. Occasionally, giant monsters that can prey on whales also appear. Therefore, Trade across the ocean has always been dormant. Although some people have explored the continental shelves of the transoceanic region, it has only been limited to communication between Spellcaster.

Ordinary people can't get through that dangerous area; they can't avoid it.

The tectonic plates on the continental shelf may shift slightly. The Soros Islands were once part of the continental shelf, Soren is currently located in the area of Deep Sea Canyon. Below is a Underwater Abyss tens of thousands of meters deep, and no one knows what's inside. In any case, the Naga Race live near this area.

Rumble.

There was a slight tremor on the seabed. Then a strangely shaped Warship, somewhat like Elven Ship, emerged.

It was a long, narrow, fast ship with a very sharp bow and a sculpture of Gorgon at the stern. The hull was covered with figures of Naga Sea Folk, including one Soren had seen before. The Naga Priestess was also among them, but unlike before, she was clad in azure armor, wielding Longsword, Morningstar, a staff, and a shield in each of her four arms. Although she lacked the spellcasting abilities of a Legendary priest, her CR combined with her priestly level made her a formidable combat force, definitely Legendary in its own right.

Her priest level should be around 18.

The opponent was equipped with Heavy Armor and a shield; if Soren hadn't known her identity, he might have mistaken her for Warrior at first glance.

Priests in this world are all very difficult to deal with.

They don't have as many restrictions Wizard; wearing Full Plate Armor doesn't hinder their ability to cast Divine Magic. High-ranking priests can wear Heavy Warrior gear, Divine Favor on themselves. Upon reaching Legendary, they can even summon Planar Ally. You might feel helpless sometimes with such beings, but fortunately, their Divine Magic are all watered-down Spell. Priests are strong in all aspects, but they don't have any particularly outstanding abilities.

Furthermore, pastors rarely have the opportunity to be deified; at most, they can only reach the level of Avatar among the Chosen.

"Keep up!"

As the enemy Warship moved, Soren ordered the Ghost Ship to follow. The Naga Race seemed to be using Alchemical Warship. Although Alchemy was taboo in many places, the Naga Siren didn't have such concerns. Warship were the Naga's primary tool. They couldn't tame sharks, whales, and other marine creatures like the Shark-man, so using Warship was definitely faster than swimming.

The day passed quickly.

The next day, after Soren had relearned the Spell, they encountered another force.

Those are Shark-man riding giant Tiger Shark; they are the most loyal servants of the Goddess of the Sea. Unfortunately, these creatures are of low intelligence, and very few priests or Spellcaster are born from them.

Under the azure sky!

A wave appeared on the sea surface, followed by more than a dozen Tiger Shark appearing in front of us.

Before Soren stood Shark-man clad in armor resembling seaweed, their Humanoid silhouettes, their thick arms wielding Trident. They roared as they approached the Warship, and Tiger Shark began to swarm around them. Simultaneously, another Shark-man commanded a Tiger Shark to approach the Naga Priestess, who spoke in a language Soren couldn't understand.

Damn Aquan!

Indeed, you can never have too much of something like language and writing.

The Naga Priestess's expression turned serious. After hearing the other party's words, she immediately ordered, "Full speed ahead! Our prey has appeared. And there are other hunters!"

The Ghost Ship began to accelerate.

Whether it was Soren's imagination or not, he thought he saw the sea surface tremble.

No, no, no!

It wasn't just the surface of the sea; the entire ocean seemed to tremble, as if an invisible tremor spread across the seabed, causing a ripple effect to spread across the surface. The Naga Priestess seemed to sense something as well. Her expression quickly turned serious. She picked up a conch-like object and whispered a prayer in a strange language. The sound was like a wave, spreading across the sea with a peculiar sonic wave, and then reaching some distant place.

"Gosalu!... Go... Sa... Lu!..."

Ahead came the deep, excited growls of the Naga Warrior, as if they were calling out the name of some creature, but unfortunately, Soren couldn't understand them at all.

but.

He now has a very clear feeling that this battle is probably not simple.

It's almost certain that it's at least Legendary!

Time passed little by little.

Barrels and wood fragments gradually appeared on the sea surface, along with traces of fire, suggesting a battle had taken place before the event began. The smell of blood attracted a school of sharks and other marine predators. The Shark-man drove the Tiger Shark to roar excitedly, accompanied by some spellcasting movements, and some of the sharks actually began to move with them.

These are ' Charm Sea Creature '!

A Spell similar to ' Charm Animal ', belonging to the Shark-man's innate Spell-like Ability.

Corpses began to appear ahead.

Soren spotted a Bone Flag floating on the sea, which made his expression slightly grim. He muttered, "The Pirate King's banner?"

This is a battle flag.

Or rather, it's a battle flag that has undergone Blood Sacrifice.

A battle had already taken place in the nearby seas, and they were still far too late. They didn't know if the Betrayer ' fleet had been captured. Soren wasn't particularly concerned about the wealth, because even if he seized it, he wouldn't get much. But he had no choice but to come, otherwise he might be cursed by the Goddess of the Sea. Although the Gods had fallen into a deep sleep and lost contact, they weren't completely unconscious. The Goddess of the Sea would certainly pay attention to something so important.

Buzz!

The tremors on the seabed appear to have recurred.

The surrounding fish seemed frightened and fled desperately into the distance; even the sharks began to feel uneasy.

A solitary island appeared in the distance.

It looks like a cliff suddenly rising from the seabed, and the view from this position is eerie, giving one a strange sense of unease. We are now at the outermost edge of the Soros Islands, where many oddly shaped islands are scattered across the sea. These islands are remnants of the Arcane Empire's wars, somewhat like mountains that have been destroyed.

Roar!

A deep, muffled roar suddenly came from afar.

Immediately afterward, a massive black shadow soared into the air, gracefully spreading its Dragon Wing and spiraling upward from the sea, reaching a height of hundreds of meters. Then, this black figure swooped down from the sky, muffled cannon fire echoing from behind the island in front of it, followed by a Dragon Breath sweeping down from the sky, transforming into Flame Pillar twenty or thirty meters long that enveloped the sea.

"Black Dragon!..."

Soren silently gripped his Scimitar, turned to glance at the Naga Priestess, and realized he hadn't been wrong; the dragon hadn't resisted the temptation of this astonishing wealth.

Rumble!

A loud noise came from ahead.

Soren vaguely saw a woman in a white dress, or perhaps not a white dress, but something that looked like a wedding gown. What made her so striking was the pair of enormous, dark red Dragon Wing that had spread out from her back, making her incredibly visually striking. Even more unbelievable was that she was actually fighting the Black Dragon head-on.

And it's hand-to-hand combat!!!

What Spellcaster in this world can fight Dragon head-on?

Without a doubt.

Only one entity can accomplish this: the Dragonblooded Sorcerer!

Before me stood a Legendary Tier Dragonblooded Sorcerer who had completed her transformation into Half-Dragon, which was why a pair of Dragon Wing could Polymorph on her back. With the power of Legendary Spellcaster combined with that of Half-Dragon, this woman must be the legendary Duchess. I never imagined she was of Red Dragon blood.

The seabed seemed to tremble again!

"Go ahead!"

"Sink!"

Soren and the Naga Priestess issued two completely different orders. The Naga Race Warship suddenly accelerated, and the Naga Priestess rapidly cast spells. With her incantation, an elemental ripple appeared on the sea, followed by the emergence of a Huge Water Elemental, roughly equivalent to a Quasi-Legendary being. The Elemental Life stood on the sea surface and began to move with the Warship before it. However, the Ghost Ship controlled by Soren began to descend, and amidst the surging Seawater from all directions, the Undead on the Ghost Ship prepared for battle.

It seems they arrived at the perfect time, neither too early nor too late!
