Arendelle, the Land of Ice and Snow.

Princess Anna was awakened by the first rays of Morninglord. She opened her eyes, then stared blankly for a moment as if still half-asleep, before finally stretching lazily. The maids outside seemed to have heard the commotion; soon two pretty maids entered carrying dresses, one of them also holding her undergarments, as the princess didn't like sleeping in clothes. The young girl's delicate body emerged from beneath the thin velvet blanket. She gently lifted a corner of the blanket, revealing a patch of fair and smooth skin.

The room was very warm.

The central Crystal Lamp lit up softly; it was an Alchemy artifact that only Royal Family could afford.

Princess Anna stretched and yawned, then let her maids help her put on her clothes one by one. Soon she was dressed, and a maid opened the window, revealing the distant blue sea. Of course, the princess's morning routine wasn't so simple; two or three more maids filed in, bringing a silver basin, washing utensils, and the clothes and accessories she would wear that day. Princess Anna seemed somewhat resigned. She gently wiped herself with a towel and then quietly ordered, "Take these away. I don't want to wear these today."

One by one, exquisite pieces of courtly craftsmanship were brought out, and in the end, Princess Anna chose a pair of Crystal earrings.

The maid behind her was combing her hair, styling her long, smooth golden hair into a beautiful updo. She looked at herself in the large, gold-rimmed mirror, then gently waved her hand and said, "That's fine. Where's my Elder Sister? Why haven't I seen her today?"

The girl slowly stood up.

She appeared more delicate and serene than before; her once thin face had regained its rosy hue, and her body seemed to have grown a little more, making her chest look fuller in the fitted Crystal dress. Princess Anna stood barefoot on the soft carpeted floor when suddenly she seemed to notice something. She pulled the pretty maid in front of her to her side, gestured, and then smiled, "Tina, have you gotten shorter? Or have I gotten taller?"

"Your Highness has grown taller."

The pretty maid smiled slightly, took a pair of exquisite deerskin boots, and said softly, "Your Highness has grown so much taller."

She gestured with her fingers, indicating that it was about one centimeter long.

Princess Anna spent nearly an hour from getting up to washing and dressing. Only after she was finished did the maids file out, leaving only her two personal maids.

She stretched slightly, placed her slender hands on her hips to check, and muttered, "It's a little tight. Have I gained a little weight?"

I've been sleeping a lot lately.

If she thinks of that person, she feels inexplicably wronged, and then she lies down on the bed and goes to sleep.

Is he alright?

Where is he now? Will he come to marry me?

The young girl gazed absently into the distance, while the two maids beside her exchanged a glance. They remained silent; whenever the princess thought of that man, she would involuntarily drift into a daze like this. They couldn't understand why their princess would be attracted to such an Adventurer, even though he was somewhat handsome and seemed capable. He was, after all, just an Adventurer. In their eyes, countless outstanding young nobles in the kingdom, and princes from other countries seeking her hand in marriage, were all far superior to an Adventurer.

Princess Anna didn't remain in a daze for long; in fact, she had gradually gotten used to it. The initial impulse had completely subsided, and only occasional feelings of longing would arise.

The longing is no longer as intense as it used to be, but I still think about it from time to time.

Inside the Imperial Palace.

Princess Anna emerged, wearing a red cloak. She glanced at the Guard before her and frowned slightly, asking, "Where is my Elder Sister? Isn't she here?"

The Guard bowed slightly and replied, "Her Majesty the Queen has gone outside the Imperial Palace. She should be back soon."

"Is that so?" Princess Anna nodded, then sat down on the Throne and began processing the files. In fact, she was now handling many matters within Arendelle. The young woman flipped through the files, reading them. Several female officials stood beside her, occasionally relaying her orders. She flipped through the files quickly, and after reviewing a pile of documents, she looked up and murmured, "My Elder Sister seems to be going out a lot lately? Something seems to be going on."

The people around didn't respond; they weren't allowed to interfere in Her Majesty the Queen's affairs.

Tap tap tap.

A series of footsteps sounded, and then a burly, imposing man entered. He had distinctly North features and wore heavy armor. Upon seeing Princess Anna on the Throne, he bowed slightly before saying, "Your Highness, those Vrykul seem to be causing trouble again. They attacked our fleet and plundered many villages."

Vrykul?

Princess Anna raised her head, her brows furrowing slightly, a hint of anger flashing in her eyes. She said in a low voice, "Are those pirates up to their old tricks again?"

She is the heir to the Kingdom of Arendelle.

Since taking over the kingdom, she had come to understand that one of its most troublesome problems was the Vrykul. These humans, living in the distant Iceland, were extremely difficult to deal with. They were Toughness and savage, and the harsher living conditions compared to the Land of Ice and Snow had made them natural pirates and raiders. These people maintained an ancient, traditional, and barbaric belief: they believed that only the souls of those who died in battle could return to the realm of their Deity, while those who died of old age in their beds could only fall into the River Styx.

Therefore, these guys will keep fighting, and sometimes they will choose to end their Hit Points in a battle!

After the Princess ascended the throne, she severely punished them, which somewhat curbed these natural-born pirates. However, they still raided and attacked Arendelle from time to time every year, because they needed sufficient resources to survive without plundering. These guys worshipped the God of War Spirit Totems and liked to place dragon head symbols on their warships. Because they had a Deity standing behind them, even the Princess sometimes couldn't do anything about them. They were like locusts, attacking coastal areas and merchant ships every year. If they encountered the kingdom's army, these guys would flee back to Iceland.

There are many people in this world who covet Arendelle's wealth.

The Vrykul were just one of them; if it weren't for the Princess's forceful ascension to the throne, Arendelle would probably have been engulfed in war long ago.

Princess Anna rubbed her forehead. She often lacked the decisiveness of the Princess in such matters; after all, she was just a young girl, and her past education hadn't given her enough experience to handle such situations. She frowned, glanced at the Guard beside her, and whispered, "Hasn't my Elder Sister returned yet? Where did she go?"

The Princess's recent movements are unclear.

She seems to have gathered quite a few Court Wizard, and recently Princess Anna has been handling most of the kingdom's affairs. It's unclear what she's planning to do.

Time passed little by little.

Around noon, the Princess finally appeared, with a mysterious woman completely shrouded in a cloak standing beside her.

I don't know why!

Princess Anna frowned slightly upon seeing the mysterious woman, her expression seemingly showing some repulsion.

She didn't like this woman.

There was no reason whatsoever; it was simply a young girl's intuition!

Shipwreck Bay.

Soren's figure weaved through the crowd, corpses trailing behind him. His ethereal form moved like a ghost, each flash of his blade followed by the appearance of another body. The merciless Slaughter was spreading, Soren's killing intent growing stronger. The effects of his Greater Invisibility were waning, and blood covered his entire body, making him appear to glow with a bloody light. Fear permeated the pirate ship, and the enemies gradually crumbled under the relentless carnage.

One, two, three... five, ten, twenty... thirty, forty, fifty...

With each Hit Points, his aura grew stronger, and his expression became colder. In the end, he was like a messenger of death, reaping lives one after another. Soren moved at high speed like a human Slaughter machine until a chilling notification appeared, at which point he stopped.

"The Butcher [Background Feat]: You have become accustomed to death and bloodshed through countless Slaughter. Ending Hit Points holds no difficulty or fear for you. You have ended hundreds of Hit Points with your hands, and you have begun to disregard death and Hit Points. In battle, you will awaken the Butcher's abilities, which will bring immense pressure to your enemies. Anyone who engages in combat must undergo a will test, or they will fall into a state of panic due to fear. [Permanent Willpower +2, Intimidation +20]"

Now!

Soren stood amidst the scattered limbs and broken bodies, a Divinity light suddenly appearing in his eyes. An invisible energy then spread out, instilling immense fear in the nearby enemies, who fled frantically as if under Cause Fear. This fear was so overwhelming, it was branded into their hearts. Not only Soren's enemies, but even his recruited followers felt a strange terror, as if their very souls trembled.

Divine Rank are being converted rapidly.

Just as Soren's momentum reached its peak, in a room in Port Tyler, Vivian's figure also mysteriously floated up. Her fair little hand seemed to move slightly, her eyelids trembled slightly, then her index finger curled and moved, and then her lips moved slightly as if she made a sound.

Suddenly, she opened her eyes and instinctively uttered a sentence.

"Elder brother!?"

Vivian's petite figure descended from mid-air. She glanced at her white princess dress, seemingly not quite liking it, and with a wave of her hand, changed into a black princess dress. She twirled lightly, then grinned and said, "As expected, that idiot wasn't as fast as me. It's finally my turn to come out. Brother? Where's brother?"
