A Little Girl's Daily Life
Port Tyler, Temple of the Sea.
The Naga Priestess stood on the high platform below the temple, looking at the message that had been sent back. She frowned and muttered, "They defeated those pirates so quickly? It seems we underestimated his strength and methods. We must keep him under control, otherwise he's far too dangerous! Moreover, the Goddess of the Sea hasn't answered my prayers lately; we must strengthen our control over the sea!"
Legendary Professional all possess the ability to dominate a region.
A city can only be governed by one or two Legendary Domain professionals at most. Soren's rapid rise made her wary. She was worried that an uncontrollable pirate force would emerge. Unifying parts of the South Coast in just a few days was something even she couldn't do. However, she also felt a sense of apprehension because, from the information she had gathered from various sources, she had discovered that Soren was an extremely ruthless and decisive person. Such a person should never be pushed too far.
There was a moment of silence.
A strange smile appeared on the Naga Priestess's lips as she slowly said, "Tell the King of the Swamp all his information and inform the others that they can no longer secretly help him. His reputation has spread too far. To deal with someone like him, we must suppress his arrogance before we can win him over. Otherwise, the stronger he becomes, the harder it will be for us to control him."
"By the way, keep an eye on that little girl; she might be useful."
On the rooftop.
Lillian's petite figure sat on the roof, her pale feet dangling over the eaves. Anyone else who saw her would be startled, given the nearly three-story height, and the little girl clearly only eight or nine years old. She adjusted the hem of her skirt with her delicate white hands, then gazed at the distant sea. Every now and then, she would tilt her head and play with her hair, sometimes in a single ponytail, sometimes in pigtails, pouting and saying, "My hair is so short, it doesn't look good when I tie it up!"
"Ugh! This idiot Vivian!... When will my hair grow long enough to reach my waist?!... I really want to grow up quickly!..."
Her pale, white feet dangled, and her little head bobbed back and forth. As if bored, she sang in a toneless, childlike voice:
"We are bad guys! We are villains!"
"They're afraid of us!"
"No one will dare to bully us anymore!"
"Ptooey! Ptooey! Ptooey!"
"Who dares to bully me, the Fear Witch - Lillian!... You idiot Vivian!... You can't even write proper lyrics!..."
"What a useless idiot and moron."
Tone deaf.
Just as Lillian was blaming Vivian for her bad singing, an angry little girl's voice rang in her mind. "Idiot! Moron! You're the big idiot! Let me out right now! Otherwise, your brother will definitely spank you!..."
The little girl curled her lip in a playful smile, muttering to herself, "I won't let you out, I won't let you out, what are you going to do about it!..."
"I won't bite you!..."
Vivian said weakly, "I won't fall for it again! You tricked me last time! It hurt me too after you bit me!..."
Pfft.
Lillian giggled playfully, "So you're an idiot! We share one body, so naturally, if I'm in pain, you're in pain too. Did you think that because I'm in control, you wouldn't feel pain?"
The two have been together for a long time.
It seems they've clashed like this many times, and there appears to be some dark history involved.
"How boring!"
Lillian lay on her back on the roof, idly swinging her little feet. She muttered to herself, "When will my brother come back? Or should we go kill and set fires? That's how that Vampire gathers power; maybe we can become gods too!... It's all your fault, you idiot, that made me wake up so late and I missed out on so much power and knowledge!... Now we can't even beat that Vampire!..."
Vivian's somewhat hesitant voice rang out, "It's clearly your own fault for being useless. Last time I even lent you my own power, but you still couldn't beat them. How can you blame me instead!..."
"And don't kill people indiscriminately!..."
"Vivian ... Vivian doesn't like this!... They are all innocent people!..."
Lillian pouted helplessly. Then she raised her hand and messed up her hair, yelling like a raging little girl, "It's all your fault!... Spending so much time with you has influenced me!... You've made me so weak!..."
Vivian's stubborn voice rang out, "This isn't weakness!... This is!... This is!... Anyway, I don't know what it is!... But indiscriminate killing is wrong!... My brother wouldn't kill innocent people indiscriminately!... He wouldn't like you doing this!..."
"Hmm!..."
These words seemed to have a real effect on Lillian, but the next moment her bright eyes darted around, and she muttered to herself, "No!... Brother kills people too. But brother likes killing bad people!..."
"Aaaaaah!..."
"This port is full of bad guys, let's go kill some bad guys!... That way brother won't be angry!..."
The little girl suddenly took to the air.
Vivian seemed startled and quickly said, "No! You're crazy!... You're insane!... I'll get angry if you keep doing this!..."
Thump!
Lillian, who had just taken flight, suddenly plummeted back down. Although the fall was low, she still instinctively covered her bottom, jumping up and down like a cat with its fur standing on end, yelling, "Are you crazy! You restricted my power!... Don't you know this could kill us both?!...
"No! How could you restrict my power?"
"Only I can restrain your power!... Why are you suddenly stronger than me!... I am the Fear Witch!... This is not fair!!!..."
Vivian's voice seemed a little surprised as she murmured, "I don't know either. But I think I can really control it now. Haha!... Serves you right for always calling me an idiot!... Let's see if you dare to be naughty again!... Hmph!... Believe me, I'll teach you a lesson in no time!...
Vivian is a very well-behaved little girl.
However, this doesn't mean she has no temper. If someone slanders or looks down on Soren, she will instantly turn into a puffed-up kitten, baring her teeth and claws.
She is very smart.
Therefore, her pure heart does not mean that she is ignorant of the world; it simply means that the filth and dirt she sees in the world do not affect her soul.
She is kind by nature.
She might be a little mischievous and Mischief at times, but that can't hide her kind nature. Perhaps only when she's involved with Soren will she abandon her concepts of good and evil; otherwise, most of the time she's a very, very good girl. She doesn't actually like Slaughter. Compared to the lawless and willful Lillian, she's a girl who can happily spend an afternoon cleaning her room while singing, just by holding a broom.
She doesn't actually like reading much because she gets sleepy easily when she does.
However, she still felt she should do something because she was about to turn nine and wanted to become a little girl who could help her brother.
Finally, she was actually a bit cunning.
"My brother's aura!"
Lillian suddenly stopped her frantic expression, patted her little bottom with her small hands, and then ran outside like the wind.
Soren's figure appeared in the distance.
"Elder brother!"
A happy expression appeared on the little girl's cute face. She suddenly jumped into his arms, wrapped her little arms around his neck, and clung to Soren.
"Vivian!"
Soren smiled and hugged little Vivian tightly; only at this moment did a genuine smile appear on his face.
Upon hearing the name Vivian, the little girl visibly paused for a moment, then quickly recovered as if nothing had happened. She curled up in Soren's arms like a kitten, snuggling against him and whining, "Brother!... Waaah!... Vivian missed you so much!..."
A voice, practically bursting with rage, echoed in her mind at the same time, "Lillian!... Don't impersonate me!..."
