Lillian's Rampage
Vivian seems much more lively than before today?
In Soren's memory, Vivian had always been a quiet and obedient little girl. This lively, mischievous, and playful side of her was quite rare, seemingly only appearing occasionally when she was in a good mood. Soren didn't suspect anything, because he trusted his intuition; he could clearly feel that Vivian was still his Vivian. Perhaps because the two hadn't been this close in a long time, he felt a surge of excitement, a rare touch of tenderness emerging after the Slaughter had subsided.
Soren reached out and gently stroked Vivian's head, then bent down and kissed her hair.
He wasn't sure if it was just his imagination, but he felt that Vivian had grown a little taller and a little heavier than before. Calculating the time, she would be nine years old in another month.
"Ugh!... Brother!..."
The little girl nestled in his arms like a kitten for a while, finally calming down and her breathing becoming more even. She tilted her head back and pressed her cheek against Soren's cheek, gently rubbing it, as if only in this way could she express her longing and attachment. But soon she frowned, her bright eyes widening, and then she raised her little hand to touch her rosy cheek, pouting and muttering, "It's so prickly!... Brother, you've grown a beard!..."
Snap!
Soren was both amused and exasperated, and gently patted her little bottom.
He reached up and touched his chin, noticing that he had indeed grown a beard. He hadn't had a good night's sleep in a long time, and it was probably because of the lack of sleep that his beard had grown along with it. After all, his Superhuman Constitution only guaranteed his energy. He reached out and picked up the little girl, spun her around, and then placed her petite body on his shoulder. Vivian let out a clear, cheerful giggle, wrapped her arms around his neck, and laughed happily. She was an easily satisfied little girl; a little coaxing would make her very happy.
but.
Just as Soren was about to take the little girl back to his residence, an inappropriate voice suddenly rang out. "Lord Soren! The High Priest requests your presence at the temple."
A fully armored Temple Guard appeared nearby, bowing slightly and saying, "The High Priest wishes you to come now."
Soren frowned slightly upon hearing this.
Vivian pouted in displeasure, her beautiful eyes narrowing slightly. A cold glint flashed where Soren couldn't see, seemingly carrying a murderous intent born of being disturbed. If Soren hadn't been there, she would have even wanted to kill this annoying guy with a single ' Finger of Death ' strike. How dare he interrupt her and her brother's time together! They hadn't had a proper time together in ages. If it weren't for waiting for her brother's return, she would have already run off and wreaked havoc. This guy was just so irritating!
"Um."
Although Soren frowned in displeasure, he still nodded slightly and said, "I'll be there in a bit."
After saying that, he gently put Vivian down, leaned down and apologized in her ear, "Vivian, go back first, I'll be back in a bit. The Priest may have something to discuss with me, I'll talk to you about it tonight."
Although the little girl was a little unhappy, she still nodded obediently and whispered, "Yes, I will stay home and wait for my brother to come back."
Soren smiled and patted her little head, then turned and walked towards the Temple of the Sea.
Just as he turned to leave, a cold glint appeared in Vivian's eyes. She glanced coldly at the Temple Guard before her, a faint Divinity light emanating from him. The guard's expression turned somewhat dazed, then he seemed to see a ghost, revealing a look of terror. He threw down his weapon and fled in a panic, stumbling and staggering as if he couldn't see his surroundings at all. Finally, his head slammed into the wall, and this Temple Guard, who was close to the third tier of strength, was knocked unconscious.
"Hmph!"
Lillian clapped her hands in satisfaction and said, "You're lucky. You actually dared to interrupt my time with my brother. If I weren't in a good mood today, I would have given you a Finger of Death!"
"Idiot Vivian!... Say something!... Why are you suddenly silent?...?"
The little girl straightened the hem of her black princess dress, then untied her hair ribbon, muttering to herself as if talking to herself, "Have she gone mute?... Weren't you going to fight me to the death at first?...?"
A while later...
Vivian's soft voice rang out, sounding somewhat downcast, "I'm thinking about how we should tell my brother."
"What did you say?" Lillian asked, seemingly confused.
Vivian's voice rose slightly, as if she hesitated, "We... you and I... how should we tell our brother? You just impersonated me! This proves you're a little insecure yourself. You're afraid to tell him you're Lillian because you're afraid he won't like you. You're scared... actually, I'm a little scared too... because I don't know what we are... You remember everything I remember... and I remember everything about you... but you are you, you are Lillian... and I am me, I am Vivian..."
At first, Lillian seemed about to explode with anger and want to retort, but later her expression turned somber.
She gently fiddled with her little white fingers, muttering, "Who... who said that... I'm not worried that my brother won't like me!... Who would want to pretend to be an idiot like you!... I'm just... just worried that my brother won't adapt at first!..."
"Yes, yes! That's it!!!"
The little girl nodded vigorously, as if it were the only way it should be.
Vivian seemed to want to laugh, then continued, "That's why I was wondering what we should do? This is so bizarre! I've read so many books about this from Elder Sister Goria, but none of them mention anything like this!... I'm worried we'll stay like this forever, and that you and I will both end up in this body!... If that's really the case, then we'll have to try to get along!..."
Lillian fell silent upon hearing this, seemingly also not quite understanding why this situation had arisen.
Vivian paused for a moment, then said in a slightly somber voice, "Actually, I have an idea. Right now, no one knows about our situation except us, so I think it's best if we keep it from my brother for now. It would be better to tell him after we figure out what's going on."
"I'm worried... I'm worried that in the end only one of us will survive!..."
"You are the true Fear God Child!... If you survive in the end!... Can you stay by my brother's side and take my place?...
"Lillian!... I don't actually dislike you!... Even though you're disobedient and a bit willful..."
A brief silence.
A hint of tears seemed to well up in Lillian's eyes, her beautiful eyes brimming with moisture, and her voice choked with emotion as she said, "Idiot! Moron!... What nonsense are you spouting!... How could you possibly die!... I would never let anything happen to you!... You are you and I am me!... Isn't it good that we're together?... Why do you say things like that... It makes me feel so bad..."
Vivian's weak voice rang out, "Um... I was just saying in case... pat on the head... Don't cry... Come on, I should be the Elder Sister... Come on... Lillian, be a good girl... quickly call me 'Elder Sister'!..."
The choked voice stopped.
Lillian instantly jumped up like a cat with its fur standing on end, yelling wildly, "Elder Sister my ass!... I'm the Elder Sister!... You're the younger sister!... You stupid, idiot Vivian!... You're so useless!... You must be the younger sister!...!"
Vivian still spoke in a weak tone, but what she said enraged Lillian. "Good girl!... Little Lillian, don't be naughty!... Call me 'Elder Sister' right now!... You woke up so late... you must be the younger sister..."
I'm going crazy.
Lillian was furious, but she couldn't do anything about it.
After a while, she calmed down and whispered, "What will we do then? How can we keep it from my brother? He's very smart!..."
Vivian seemed to pause for a moment, then said weakly, "How about this?"
"From now on, you can come out one day, and I'll come out one day. Don't be too unruly. Your brother will be a little uncomfortable at first, but he'll get used to it quickly. After all, we're just kids, and kids' tempers are bound to be fickle. Let's keep this from him for now. I... I don't know what the future holds!..."
Lillian seemed to think about it seriously for a moment, then muttered, "Hmm... it doesn't seem so bad to look like I haven't grown up..."
"Don't mention that again!... If I'm okay, you'll definitely be okay too!... At most, I'll give you a portion of my Divinity later!... Although I don't really like you, you idiot and moron... but you are... um... you're quite important too..."
"Besides!!!"
"You idiot Vivian!... I'm the Elder Sister!..."
Vivian seemed unwilling to argue about the matter, and instead stated it in a weak, factual tone. "Although I'm not as capable as you, I'm actually smarter than you."
Bang!
Enraged, Lillian kicked the door and stormed into the room.
She won't fall for that trick!
Otherwise, that idiot Vivian would definitely test her with those dizzying Spell Formula, but she's the Fear Witch Lillian, for crying out loud! Why would she need to understand those stupid Spell Formula to cast Spell? Just raise your finger and 'biu~biu~biu~', isn't that enough?
How simple!
It seems the two girls had a series of discussions and debates about who was the idiot.
