Battle of the Pirate King!
Pirate King.
What an inspiring title!
If Soren defeats the King of the Swamp, he will become the new Pirate King, and this entire sea will be his territory. Many will be promoted, and some may even be able to lead their own pirate ships. They are not a group of cowards; on the contrary, pirates are a fierce group, but they don't fight battles with no hope of victory. Now, they actually have a Ghost Ship as an ally. Having been on the seas for a long time, they know very well just how powerful the legendary Ghost Ship truly is!
The outcome of this battle is uncertain!
But if they win, they will be the most powerful pirates in this sea!
Wealth, status, and power.
In the future, some of them may reach the level of Sea Wolf, Narwhal, or Killer Whale and become pirate leaders with their own names, as long as they continue to obey the orders of Pirate King Soren!
A burst of artillery fire rang out.
The appearance of the Ghost Ship emboldened the pirates. Although they were no match for the enemy, they began to fight back and kill the approaching monsters.
Meanwhile, Soren has begun to take control of the Ghost Ship, which is part of his deal with the Naga Priestess.
There are many enemies on all sides!
As a long-established Pirate King, the King of the Swamp naturally had far more than just a handful of subordinates. The enemy's numbers were still several times greater than Soren's, not even counting the monsters lurking in the Seawater. This was no easy war, for the battle had only just begun. Soren stopped Vivian, who was about to unleash a massacre, and said in a deep voice, "Conserve your Spell Slot! Spellcaster must never run out of Spell in battle! You must only act at the crucial moment!..."
Vivian has many Spell.
However, this battle did not require her to fight alone on her home turf, and Soren was not comfortable letting her face too much danger.
After all, she didn't have enough Spell Slot to completely overwhelm so many enemies.
--"Animate Rigging!"
"Swivel Gun!"
Soren ordered his Undead to fire continuously, while simultaneously controlling the cables of the Ghost Ship. He Constrict all the approaching Merrow Corsair, then drew his Scimitar and slashed them one by one. The Ghost Ship's greatest strength lay in these Animate Rigging; they shot out like venomous snakes, dragging enemies within their attack range towards him. This Ghost Ship possessed a formidable reaping ability, and fighting alongside Soren meant a rapid increase in Slaughter Experience.
He has accumulated quite a bit of Slaughter Experience!
If it weren't for the need to advance his Feat, he would have already leveled up his profession.
However, he must wait a while.
Soren has several combat Feat on the verge of breakthrough. He must exercise patience to achieve the best enhancement results.
"What is that?!"
The shouts of pirates echoed from afar, followed by a ripple in the distant Seawater. Then, the figures of sharks rapidly approached, and incredibly Toughness Sahuagin appeared nearby, riding on giant Tiger Shark and roaring. Soon after, many Shark-man dived into the sea to join the battle against the King of the Swamp.
"Finally, reinforcements have arrived!"
Soren's furrowed brow relaxed slightly, then he gazed into the distance and murmured, "Where are the Naga? The Shark-man can't handle these pirates!"
There were some monsters with tentacles in the Seawater, which looked a bit like mutated octopuses.
These sizable monsters clashed with the sharks in the Seawater. Blood quickly spread across the surface as more and more enemies joined the battle. Many non-racial creatures controlled by the King of the Swamp began to approach. At the same time, human voices echoed from afar; the King of the Swamp had many followers. These were notorious criminals, or individuals that other pirates could not tolerate. They were stronger than ordinary pirates, and far more ruthless and dangerous.
Damn it!
Soren looked around, his brow furrowed. "Why haven't the Naga reinforcements appeared? What about the other force promised by the Naga Priestess? Where is that Pirate King trained by the Naga Sea Folk? Wasn't he supposed to join the war?"
Soren's eyes were filled with rage!
He wasn't without confidence in defeating the King of the Swamp, but the feeling of being mocked and betrayed filled him with indignation!
Vivian's eyes seemed to hold a suppressed fighting spirit. She licked her lips with her little tongue and said in a slightly unusual, clear voice, "Brother! There's a big monster over there!... Let's go kill it!..."
At that moment, Soren was furious because the Naga reinforcements had not arrived, and he did not notice the little girl's unusual behavior.
In fact.
A barely perceptible glint of bloodlust appeared in the eyes of the nine-year-old girl before them. Her expression was quite eerie, as if the scene before her filled her with excitement and joy. She took a deep breath, seemingly quite satisfied with the taste of blood, and then her small body took flight.
"Lillian! Don't be impulsive!"
Another voice rang in the little girl's mind, anxiously saying, "You'll be exposed if you do this!... Wait!... You must learn to control yourself!..."
The little girl landed back on the deck, kicking her shoes in apparent dissatisfaction, and muttered, "How annoying!... I can't just go all out and kill them all!... I really want to kill all this trash!..."
Temple of the Sea.
A mirror of Seawater rose before the Naga Priestess's eyes, reflecting the battle from the perspective of the Ghost Ship. Her face was ashen, and she roared angrily, "Where is Asroder? Why didn't he join the battle!"
The angry roar shook the Seawater inside the temple, causing it to churn.
The Naga Priestess's eyes were filled with uncontrollable killing intent and rage, because she knew that everything she had done at the beginning had been in vain.
She went to such lengths to win over Soren!
But at this crucial moment, the Pirate King ' Asroder, ' one of the most important reinforcements, failed to join the battle. This was undoubtedly a betrayal for Soren, and all the initial agreements and attempts to win him over had become a joke. The Naga Priestess was certain that Soren was extremely dissatisfied with her attitude, because at this critical moment, the reinforcements she had promised had vanished without a trace.
She was furious.
I'm extremely angry!
The Naga Priestess was enraged, roaring, "Damn bastard! Asroder!... You royal lackey!... How dare you disobey the temple's orders!... I will punish you!... I will kill you!..."
It was all too late.
Even she hadn't expected that Asroder, one of the Three Great Pirate Kings, would betray her. Now she could only hope that Soren could defeat the King of the Swamp; otherwise, she would not only lose someone she had tried so hard to win over, but the Shark-man controlled by the Temple of the Sea would also suffer heavy losses. And all of this was caused by that damned Asroder!
Her heart was filled with murderous intent.
This applies not only to Asroder, one of the Three Great Pirate Kings, but also to the Naga Royal Family who support him.
On another stretch of sea.
A massive Sea Monster Warship was sailing, and standing at its bow was a tall man with scales covering his face. He sneered as he gazed at the distant sea and muttered, "That idiot Priest! Did he really think I would obey orders so easily? Did he want to install someone else to replace me? Or did he want to completely control the power of the ocean?"
Why would he be willing to help a stranger fight the King of the Swamp?
Defeating the King of the Swamp would mean the emergence of a new Pirate King on the South Coast, posing a challenge to his power.
"Only that idiot Priest would think everything is under her control." Asroder laughed, a cold glint in his eyes. The Goddess of the Sea hadn't answered the prayers of her followers for a long time, and the Deity's silence was an opportunity for many.
On the Sea Monster Warship
A Naga Guard glanced into the distance, his face grim. "Asroder! What are you planning to do? How dare you disobey the High Priest's orders! Aren't you afraid of her punishment?" (To be continued~^~)
