soon.

Soren then returned to where he had started.

At this point, the difference between the Drow Warrior and the elite pirates became apparent. In terms of strength, the difference wasn't significant, but after more than an hour of waiting, the difference in Discipline became obvious. The Drow Warrior remained silent, only occasionally wiping their weapons, while the elite pirates were restless. Many of the unruly pirates were getting impatient; if it weren't for Soren's prestige and the suppression from the pirate leaders, they would probably have already started to riot.

The Discipline of the two is on a completely different level!

The former reminded Soren of his time in the Underdark, where he had deeply experienced the Cruelty rule of the Drow and the strict Discipline enforced by their army. But this was completely ineffective with the pirates, especially since these pirates were all elites. They were already getting impatient after just over an hour; they had always been so lax. Seeing this, Soren immediately resolved to train them properly in the future.

"Set off."

As soon as Soren appeared, the pirates seemed to find their leader, and the restless elite pirates calmed down.

After he gave the order to advance, the others immediately began to approach the native tribe. Vivian cast Fly and Invisibility on herself and flew directly to the front of the group. Soren was incredibly envious, wondering how the little girl's strength had increased so much. She had been sleeping almost every day lately, yet her Flyby Attack skills were so fluent. In contrast, Soren, aside from his Spell Control Feat, hadn't mastered any other spellcasting Feat on his own.

The Drow Warrior remained quite quiet, silently following the procession forward.

The pirates made occasional noises and muttered complaints about the bad road, but these were quickly silenced by their leaders.

Dark Blade Andri shook his head, not having much expectation for today's battle.

He had already prepared to retreat if things went wrong, since there weren't many Warrior left in the tribe, and these elite and precious Drow Warrior shouldn't be wasted here.

Now, I just hope their sneak attack succeeds, and that Throat Cutter Slitter can also take down the Spirits!

The distance is getting closer and closer.

As a glimmer of light appeared ahead, Vivian gradually descended. The pirates fared somewhat better, having witnessed the little girl Flyby Attack before. However, the Drow Warrior were somewhat frightened. They felt that the girl before them, who appeared to be a tiny child, possessed unfathomable strength; she had already cast several Spell in succession.

"Haste!"

The first Spell was Haste, a group buff Spell. It can speed up people within a certain range. Vivian could buff about twenty people at a time, so she only used it three times, buffing a portion of them.

--"Draconic Might!"

This is Spell bestowed upon Soren, which can greatly enhance his combat power.

The young girl didn't use too many Spell Slot on buffs. After casting a few simple Spell, she immediately began preparing Abjuration Spell for herself, then nodded her little head towards Soren below. Their mission was to kill the Shaman Priest; they absolutely couldn't give the Spellcaster a chance to act. Otherwise, their losses would be considerable.

Squeak!

Soren easily breached the wooden fence of the native tribe, and then groups of people silently infiltrated. The watchman on the watchtower had already been killed by Vivian's ' Disintegrate, and another was directly hit by Soren's ' Rage and Charm '. Because of the Haste, the Drow Warrior entered very quickly, and some of the lower-ranking natives on the outer perimeter were awakened. Before they could even speak, their throats were slit.

There was no pity, no sympathy.

In the blink of an eye, more than a dozen corpses had appeared here.

"Ignore everyone else!"

Soren glanced at his men and ordered in a low voice, "Dark Blade! You lead a raid on the Chieftain in the center of the tribe. I'll take care of the Shaman Priest and then come back to join you!"

The Spirits didn't know when it would appear, so Soren could only deal with the Shaman Priest first.

His figure vanished into the shadows, heading towards the courtyard he had initially identified. Vivian, hovering in mid-air, had already cast Greater Invisibility on herself. The two quickly approached the Shaman Priest's location. Meanwhile, Dark Blade - Andri had led the Drow Warrior in a surprise attack, charging directly towards the center of the tribe. They inadvertently startled the natives along the way, but everyone who came into view, regardless of age or gender, was slaughtered.

The Drow have no pity for these natives, and the pirates have even less compassion!

Corpses and blood were everywhere.

Those who dared to resist were mercilessly slaughtered, and soon nearly a hundred corpses lay in the grave. The Drow had approached the center of the tribe, and the commotion awakened the Native Warrior. However, many of them were killed on the spot by the Drow rushed in before they could even pick up their weapons. It was around two in the morning, and under normal circumstances, most people were sound asleep and wouldn't react quickly enough even if they heard a noise.

"Kill! Kill them all!..."

The blood-soaked screams finally alerted the entire indigenous tribe, but by then it was already too late.

In just the first round of combat, the Drow Warrior, with their night vision, completely dominated the battle. Although there were only about thirty of them, they reaped twice as many heads as the nearly one hundred pirates. As expected of a race that can survive in the Underdark, they certainly didn't hold back when it came to Slaughter.

"Come with me!"

Dark Blade - Andri sensed a possibility of victory and immediately commanded in a deep voice, "Ranger, follow me! Shoot down those Guard!... Charge the big house ahead and take down the native Chieftain!..."

The Elite Pirate had begun engaging the increasingly alerted enemy. These men fought with ferocious roars, their imposing presence attracting the growing number of natives. Casualties began to mount; seven or eight pirates had died in the short time, and more than ten were wounded to varying degrees, over half of them unconscious. However, the Drow Warrior suffered minimal casualties, with only three injured and no one dead, thanks to their night vision, making them better adapted to the current combat environment than the natives.

Blood flowed.

The Native Warrior did not live together in one place. Although they lived in the center of the tribe, they lived in separate houses with their wives and children inside.

Some teenagers were also fighting, and even killed one or two pirates.

Dark Blade - Andri, his expression cold, raised his hand and drew several Throwing Dagger from his waist, then hurled them at the native child who looked no more than twelve or thirteen years old. The Throwing Dagger struck the child in the chest, and the native child collapsed to the ground with a thud. Then, a roar from a nearby native man was heard, followed by a scream of agony.

The Drow showed no change in expression, while the pirates remained filled with murderous intent.

On the other side.

Soren and Vivian approached the Shaman Priest's courtyard. Just as they reached the vicinity, the little girl frowned and whispered, "Brother! There's a strange aura here! I don't like it!..."

Soren was just about to say something.

Suddenly, the house shook, and then a huge creature appeared before them—a giant Brown Bear about five meters long. Although it had the appearance of Brown Bear, it lacked the aura of a living being. After appearing, it let out a low growl without making a sound, and then pounced on Soren, raising its massive paw to strike.

Clang!

Soren, of course, wouldn't be so easily hit by the enemy. He dodged the attack with a quick Dodge and then swung his twin swords at the giant Brown Bear in front of him. However, to his surprise, the Icetail in his right hand broke through the bear's defense, but the Scimitar in his left hand seemed to have struck a rather tough energy field, deflecting to another direction and causing almost no damage.

Soren's expression was serious as he said in a deep voice, "The Bear Spirit?!"
