The atmosphere became somewhat awkward.

Both of them looked somewhat embarrassed, but it wasn't the typical kind of embarrassment; rather, it was a strange, unsettling kind. Their eyes Dodge briefly, and a blush even appeared on Goria's beautiful face. A strange feeling was brewing within them, and they both seemed to sense something. This slight awkwardness didn't last long. Soren quickly recovered, smiling as he bent down to retrieve an exquisite box and presented it to Goria.

"A gift for you." Soren blinked, a rare occurrence for him.

Goria looked up at him, a serene smile playing on her lips, and asked softly, "What gift?"

Soren shrugged and casually sat down on the recliner. As he sat down, Goria instinctively shifted her position slightly to the side. By the time she realized it, Soren was already sitting close to her. Although the recliner was quite spacious, the two of them were naturally very close, and her masculine scent was easily noticeable. This caused a blush to appear on her face, but she didn't seem to be annoyed at all.

Soren, smelling the faint fragrance emanating from the tip of his nose, said naturally, "Open it and see!"

Goria's body tensed, especially when Soren sat beside her and spoke, naturally exuding a masculine aura. The sound of Soren's breathing reached her ears; she could feel his breath brushing against her long hair, making her even more nervous. Even though she was a well-informed Northern Witch and controlled a large territory, Goria still involuntarily tensed her back, feeling goosebumps rise on her earlobes.

She was very nervous.

Soren made no other move; he sat down and waited with a smile. He waited for Goria to open the gift, and for her to relax.

The Northern Witch was no ordinary woman, after all.

Even though she had never been this close to any other man before, she quickly adjusted to the situation.

Goria turned her head and gave Soren a reproachful look, seemingly annoyed that his sudden sitting down had startled her, but she didn't show any anger on her face, nor did she get up from the recliner. The distance between them was less than half a centimeter. The thin nightgown couldn't ward off the heat emanating from beside her, Goria's cheeks flushed slightly, more pronounced than before, like the sunset on the horizon. She gently lifted the exquisite box in front of her, took a deep breath, and then slowly opened it.

A dazzling light appeared!

The Diamond's brilliance refracted the moment it was opened, captivating even the well-traveled Northern Witch with its stunning azure Diamond. While Soren lacked the expertise to Appraise its true value, his years of experience told him that anything Diamond must be exceptionally rare.

Goria was actually prepared. However, when she saw the huge, dazzling blue diamond before her, a hint of bewilderment still appeared in her eyes.

Women are sometimes a lot like Dragonkind!

Even Vivian was no exception to this; Soren had seen the little girl counting her jewel trophies more than once.

"What a nice view!"

Goria picked up the blue diamond with her fair fingers and held it up to the sunlight. She gazed at it for a moment, somewhat dazed, before her eyes gradually cleared. Goria carefully placed it back in the exquisite box, then said softly, "Diamond like this seem to be rare even among royalty! Did you find it in the dragon's lair?"

Soren nodded slightly and said, "Yes."

Goria turned to look at Soren beside her, their arms brushing together slightly, a soft, silky touch washing over them. She gazed intently at the man before her, as if seeing him anew, and murmured, "Sometimes I really can't understand you! Born in the Slums, yet you possess knowledge that many Wizard don't even have. When I first met you, you were just a lowly Rogue, but now you've single-handedly slain Dragon Slayer."

Sometimes I really wonder if you're a benefactor of Destiny!

Soren did not answer the question.

Those favored by Destiny are another kind of existence. They are a group of people outside of Destiny, whose Destiny is more free than that of the Deity. In the eyes of Wizard Prophecy divination and prophecy, those favored by Destiny are similar to the "Prince of Lies." They are the extremely rare group of people in stories whose Lucky Coin Gold Coin upright when the Goddess of Luck luck tosses them.

Soren wasn't sure if he was that kind of person!

Therefore, such a person is quite rare; he is never one to be pretentious.

Unless he gets the legendary [Fate Card]!

After putting the gift away, Goria stood up gently. She tilted her head, giving Soren a playful once-over, and said, "Actually, I also prepared a gift for you. Come with me!"

Soren took a deep breath.

As if chasing after the lingering fragrance that drifted from her as she rose, a slightly intoxicated expression appeared on Goria's face. She gave him a reproachful glare, then raised her slender white fingers to activate a Teleportation Array on the right side of the observatory. Teleportation was possible inside the Wizard Tower. The Northern Witch stood gracefully in place, as if waiting for Soren to arrive.

Soren walked over.

He reached out and grasped Goria's hand, their fingers interlocked, and he could feel the soft touch and the sweat on her palm.

It turns out that she (he) had been very nervous all along.

The two involuntarily exchanged a glance, and then a smile involuntarily appeared on their lips. Goria's eyes were gentle, her palms were soft, and she had no intention of pulling away, naturally letting Soren hold her hand. Then, she gently activated the Teleportation Array. The two figures disappeared in a white light and then appeared in a room on the upper level of the Wizard Tower.

This appears to be Goria's bedroom.

Despite being a skilled Northern Witch, Goria's room did not have the feel of a woman's boudoir.

This place is mostly filled with books!

Soren glanced at the room and saw hundreds of books on the bookshelves and tables, almost all of them as thick as bricks. The room was quite simple and tidy, with a soft carpet on the floor, a chair next to the desk, and some odds and ends, which seemed to be Alchemy supplies. To the side was a daybed, with almost no decorations.

No wonder Vivian developed the good habit of reading!

As if guessing what Soren was thinking, Goria turned around and glared at him, saying softly, "This is just a place to rest after conducting research."

She gently raised her finger, and a faint Spell Aura appeared in one of the drawers.

This was Goria had dispelled a Spell Trap, and then she saw the drawer open automatically, revealing a rather exquisite-looking belt that landed directly in her palm.

Goria smiled as she looked at Soren, handed him the belt, and said softly, "This is for you."

Legendary Equipment!?

The moment Soren's fingertips touched the belt before him, his whole body trembled involuntarily. He then looked up at Goria in surprise and murmured, "The Frost Giant Strength?!"

Now it was Goria's turn to look surprised, and she asked in confusion, "You know it?"

"It has been kept by the Witches' Council for over a hundred years! I only recently acquired it because of some events!"

She would never tell Soren that she had received an opportunity from the Northern Witches Council as a reward for advancing to the level of a near- Legendary Witch. She could choose a Legendary Equipment from the Northern Witches Council's treasury. Instead of choosing other Legendary Spellcaster gear, she brought out this Tier 2 Legendary belt, [Frost Giant Strength], from the Witches' Council's treasury!

"Yes."

Soren nodded slightly, reached out and gently stroked the belt in front of him, and said in a low voice, "I've heard of it before."

In his memory.

This Tier 2 Legendary Belt was auctioned off for a staggering 270,000 Gold Daler! It is the best Legendary Power Belt available in the entire Material Plane!
