Legendary Scimitar Mastery

The massive body of the Red Dragon roared through the air.

Its overconfident nature prevented it from even checking whether Soren behind it was dead. In the Red Dragon's mind, even a fourth-tier Warrior would have a hard time surviving its direct Dragon Breath, let alone Soren, who was just a Rogue who didn't look particularly tough. Rogue were the Hit Points Melee Class; even if they advanced to the Legendary Domain, a single Dragon Breath from the Red Dragon would bring them to the brink of death.

Soren's injuries weren't actually that serious!

The scorching Dragon Breath reduced his Hit Points by more than a third, dealing him hundreds of points of damage. However, once the Scimitar Icetail shone brightly, the damage he took decreased significantly. This Scimitar had once helped a powerful Legendary figure fight against Balor, Greater Demon from the Abyss naturally enveloped in flames; any creature that approached it would suffer extremely fatal burning damage. Therefore, in other words, the burning damage from Balor's flames was no less than that from the Dragon Breath of Red Dragon.

It can withstand the flames from the Balor's body, and naturally it can also withstand the Dragon Breath of Red Dragon.

Soren stood amidst the raging flames, the Flame surrounding him, yet the rate at which his Hit Points was decreasing had slowed to single digits. This level of Fire Damage was no longer fatal; at the very least, it gave him the ability to withstand one or two Dragon Breath head-on, preventing a single dragon's breath from plunging him into a near-death state.

But!

The injuries on my body are still quite troublesome.

Soren glanced at the Red Dragon that had circled once in the air and returned, a cold glint and intense killing intent flashing in his eyes!

"Upgrade Shadow Dancer class level!"

For so long, Soren had restrained his desire to level up his class, so that he would have the ability to turn the tide when necessary. He knew very well that his forte was the Rogue's fighting style. As Wizard, he was utterly incompetent, so even though he possessed the Slaughter Experience to level up his Wizard Class Level, Soren still stored it away. Because if he encountered a battle beyond his limits, one or two Wizard Class Level would be of little use; on the contrary, leveling up his Rogue class by one or two levels would greatly increase Soren's combat power!

Wizard really need to accumulate experience.

It takes at least twenty years for a native Wizard to fully develop, and Soren has only been a part-time Wizard for less than three months now.

He accomplished in three months what other Wizard took three years to achieve.

But he is not Deity after all. He cannot complete in three months the path that other Wizard take thirty years to walk!

Even if he has a high Wizard Class Level, it won't work.

A row of documents came into view:

"Shadow Dancer class upgraded to level 4."

"Gain 31 Skill Point (Agility 25 + Intelligence 21 - 10) * 0.5), and increase Hit Points by 14 points (Class Hit Points 8 + Constitution 22 - 10) * 0.5)."

"Master the Shadow Dancer's innate ability [Shadow Jump]!"

"Promoted to Tier 4 Professional."

"Gain an extra Feat Point!..."

"Shadow Dancer class upgraded to level 5."

"Gain 31 Skill Point (Agility 25 + Intelligence 21 - 10) * 0.5), and increase Hit Points by 14 points (Class Hit Points 8 + Constitution 22 - 10) * 0.5)."

"Master the Shadow Dancer's Racial Feat [Roll Dodge]!"

"Gain one Free Attribute Point."

"Gain a Feat Point."

"Rogue class level is now 12, plus one weapon point!..."

All the Slaughter Experience was consumed like flowing water, but Soren's Rogue level increased dramatically!

His total Rogue level reached 12, earning him a Free Attribute Point, a Feat Point, and an additional weapon point. Furthermore, after reaching Tier 4 Professional in his overall class level, Soren gained another Feat Point. Therefore, after consecutively increasing his class level by two, his strength experienced an explosive increase!

"Choose the [Intuitive Evasion] Feat!"

Soren's figure leaped out of the sea of fire. After upgrading his Rogue class rank, the first Feat he chose was [Intuitive Evasion]. This most powerful superpower-type Dodge Feat —if it weren't for the lack of prior experience, he would have chosen it much earlier. Because [Intuitive Evasion] is a superpower-type Dodge Feat, it doesn't require much judgment; it directly grants the Sixth Sense derived from perception.

"Intuitive Evasion [Special Ability]: From now on, you will possess a powerful Intuitive Evasion ability. When caught off guard or attacked by an invisible enemy, you can retain the reflexive Dodge ability brought by agility. Furthermore, you will now possess a weak Sixth Sense, allowing you to anticipate attacks launched against you. This predictive ability is influenced by your perception bonus." [Note: The higher your perception, the stronger your ability to predict attacks.]

With his unique Feat to Intuitive Evasion, Soren suddenly moved.

Without even turning around, he simply swung his curved Scimitar to block an arrow from behind, and with a crisp clang, Soren's figure vanished into the shadows.

He entered Stealth mode!

This is the power of Intuitive Evasion; it allows you to make predictions based on your intuition. Although Soren's perception isn't very high, the bonus from 16 points of perception is at least equivalent to 3 extra points of Dodge ability.

"Consume one weapon point to master the Feat Scimitar Master!"

Soren's gaze was icy, his eyes locked on the Red Dragon in the sky. He completely concealed himself, moving along the Red Dragon's trajectory. He awaited the moment the Red Dragon would land, for its Dragon Breath was unsustainable. After the first Dragon Breath, the Red Dragon would attempt a swoop down to attack its enemies, followed by a ferocious Wing Buffet, culminating in a final, devastating Tail Sweep. Soren had dealt with Dragon many times before; their biological attack patterns were similar. As long as someone drew their attention, Soren could find an opportunity to ambush them.

But before that!

He still needs to improve his offensive capabilities. His [Intuitive Evasion] Feat has already greatly increased his survivability, so the next thing he needs to improve is his combat ability.

Soren is poised to acquire his first Legendary Combat Feat at this very moment!

"Consume one Feat Point to master the Feat Legendary Scimitar Mastery!"

As the last Feat Point was consumed, the Legendary Scimitar Icetail in Soren's hand seemed to sense something, emitting a joyful tremor, like the pleasant sound of a blade being flicked. As Legendary Scimitar possessing simple will, it seemed to sense that its master's abilities in using it were comparable to those of the figures in Epic Legend.

"Legendary Scimitar Mastery: You are already a Legendary master of the Scimitar Scimitar. There are few in the entire world more skilled in combat with it than you. Your mastery of this weapon rivals that of Legendary Swordmaster; it wouldn't be an exaggeration to call it Transcendence. Perhaps only a very few epic figures, or certain Deity who favor the Scimitar, can rival your proficiency in this weapon. This weapon has become an extension of your being; you can use it at any time to inflict even greater damage. [Hit +5, Damage +5, Attack Speed +3, Critical Hit Multiplier +1, Critical Hit +1]"

A truly wondrous state of being.

When Soren upgraded his Feat to Legendary Scimitar Mastery, he seemed to enter a wondrous state for a moment.

He could sense the simple consciousness possessed by the Legendary Scimitar, Icetail. He could feel the tactile sensation of the airflow passing over the blade, as if his skin and nerves had extended to the Scimitar. Although it was airflow blowing across the Scimitar, he felt as if it were airflow blowing across his own skin. It was a rather wondrous feeling, as if the Scimitar had become a part of his body. He could clearly feel the air being cut by the Scimitar as it was swung, the trembling blade when parrying an enemy's attack, and how slight the deviation would occur in the next attack, and how much it would affect the enemy when it hit.

Even the air resistance from the contact between the Scimitar and the air was within Soren's perception!

It's amazing.

Soren actually felt a sense of 'oneness with his sword'.
