Goria looked at Soren tenderly, then nodded gently and said, "Come with me."

The two rose and stepped into Portal Portal. As they entered, Soren frowned slightly, the scene he had just witnessed prompting him to consider many things. First, the Wizard Tower of the Northern Witches Council were all interconnected, forming a massive, powerful Mythal. Second, while Goria was the master of this Wizard Tower Wizard Tower, the Eye of the North seemed to also possess control over it, and perhaps even greater control than Goria.

As this silvery-white fragment materialized, everyone present sensed a power emanating from it. They involuntarily revealed a hint of surprise, exchanging glances and exchanging unspoken understandings. Everything boiled down to one word—"Artifact!"

Soren and Goria exchanged a glance.

Although neither of them spoke, they could understand each other's meaning through their eyes.

So everything was indeed for the sake of the Artifact!

Artifact possess incredible power. Although many Artifact have appeared throughout history, very few have actually fallen into the hands of mortals. Just look at the equipment on Soren's body; despite his long and arduous battles, the limit he has reached is only Legendary Item. Artifact are unattainable for him, and also extremely deadly!

Because Artifact can be located by Spell.

What lies before me is a Artifact, or rather, a fragment of a powerful Artifact. Even a fragment exudes the power contained within it.

So we have been trying to uncover some secrets from it, as well as the special Divine Power it contains. Unfortunately, our research has been very slow. Some ancient knowledge has been lost. In the past hundred years, we have only completed one and a half research projects."

The Eye of the North gestured behind him.

Then two Witch with similarly aged faces came out. They glanced at the other Witch present who were obviously much younger, and each took out two special Silver-White Metal pieces.

Members of the Witches' Council serve fifty-year terms. If they cannot advance to the Legendary rank, they must retire to the background, while Legendary Witch can continue to serve their terms.

"Look!"

The Eye of the North raised its hand and stroked the silvery-white metal, then slowly said, "This is the first problem we've solved, and the secret of the Gith Silver Sword. It's Polymorph silver metal with a special memory ability. What you see with your naked eye is a flowing silver liquid, but in reality, it's a powerful Memory Metal that can self-repair!"
