Lady of Fortune
Combat Casting.
A Feat or expertise that is quite difficult to master.
This is perhaps the most difficult Feat for Soren to train so far, because even a talented Wizard needs at least three to five years to master combat Combat Casting. Battles are unpredictable, and seizing the opportunity to cast spells is not easy. Many Wizard cast defensive Spell in advance and then rely on Energy Protection Field to buy time to cast spells. Even with Goria's guidance, Soren's progress in training this Feat has been slow.
I have to say, this woman actually has a pretty good ability to Taunt!
While attacking and interrupting Soren's spellcasting, she could also keenly perceive Soren's emotions and then use words to provoke and influence him.
Damn it!
Soren felt he also needed to learn how to Taunt his enemies, as his foundation in basic skills was still somewhat lacking.
Feat training cannot be rushed.
So after feeding Goria, Soren began to attend to other matters.
The camp absolutely cannot be neglected. In the future, both Soren and Vivian may need the population and strength here. This is the foundation for future Legendary; otherwise, when the Time of Troubles breaks out, he won't have the time and energy to accumulate resources. At this rate, the accumulation of population will eventually lead to a qualitative change through quantitative accumulation.
Elite Pirate began to gather.
Soren had already planned to eliminate the Wyvern after the attack on humans.
The Wyvern looks somewhat like the Pteranodon from the Jurassic period. They are different from the Wyvern that people are familiar with; the Wyvern look more like the Wyvern from the Lord of the Rings.
Wyvern are much easier to tame, but Wyvern are quite difficult!
Therefore, Soren abandoned the idea of taming them after only briefly considering it, as finding someone Dragon Taming was difficult and would require a great deal of time and resources.
Squads of Elite Pirate assembled, and Heavy Javelin were distributed to the troops.
but.
Just as Soren was preparing to go and deal with the Wyvern, an unexpected visitor arrived.
A ship was docked at the port.
A very special ship, it is engraved with the Crest of the Goddess of Wealth.
South Coast.
This place is a complex mix of Deity forces. There are Neutral Deity, such as the Goddess of Wealth, as well as Evil Deity, such as the Goddess of the Sea, and even some Archfiend forces from the Abyss, and certain Evil God hiding in the shadows. So when the large ship bearing the Crest of the Goddess of Wealth approached the port, Soren immediately put aside the matter of dealing with the Wyvern and led his men toward the port.
He had no idea how the Lady of Fortune's followers had found their way here!
However, as the most powerful Church on the South Coast, the Lady of Fortune, Deity possesses Medium Divinity, is not someone Soren can easily offend.
The Church of Fortune.
A powerful force that maintains Neutral and has influence throughout the world.
When Soren arrived at the port, a considerable crowd had already gathered. The pirates, known for their lawlessness and greed for wealth, became surprisingly docile upon seeing these people adorned with jewels; some even bowed slightly in respect. The Goddess of Wealth was a widely worshipped Deity with a vast number of followers. However, because the Portfolio of Wealth rarely attracted fanatical followers, her Divine Power was considerably weaker than that of some of the more powerful Gods.
Quantity doesn't always have to outweigh quality!
"Your Throat Cutter Slitter!"
A woman descended from the deck, dressed in a long silver robe with gold thread trim on the cuffs, possessing beautiful long golden hair and six gemstone rings on her ten fingers. It is said that the Goddess of Wealth loves gold, and many of her priests have long golden hair. These priests are also adorned with jewels and expensive jewelry, their clothing exquisitely luxurious. This was a voluptuous, tall woman, wearing a stunningly valuable pearl necklace around her neck. She bowed slightly to Soren with a smile and slowly said, "Your Excellency, I bring you goodwill from the Lady of Fortune!"
The Lady of Fortune's goodwill?
Soren remained unfazed. He gazed at the tall woman before him and said slowly, "Welcome, Priest, to this deserted island. I'm curious how you found this place!"
The tall woman didn't answer directly, but smiled and said, "Lady of Fortune has been watching us!"
It seems someone leaked the information.
Soren wasn't particularly angry, because it would be difficult to hide such a large target from a powerful Church of Deity. He was just curious how they knew the flight path here.
The tall woman in front of him glanced around, surveyed the port before him, and smiled, "Your vision is truly excellent! This port alone will bring immense wealth in the future!"
At this point, her expression became somewhat playful. "Aren't you going to invite me in for a look?"
The visitor is ill-intentioned.
Although the other person kept smiling, Soren sensed that this might not be a good thing.
Because the Church of the Sea stands behind him.
If one were to inadvertently become embroiled in a conflict between two Church of Deity, it would be an absolute disaster!
"Please!"
Soren turned and made an inviting gesture. Even though he was one of the Three Great Pirate Kings of the South Coast, there was not much difference in status when facing a high-ranking priest from the Church of Fortune.
Necessary respect is certainly due; few people would want to offend Lady of Fortune!
Who would turn down money?
A satisfied smile appeared on the priestess of the Goddess of Wealth's face. She rose and followed behind Soren, while observing the surrounding environment.
Behind her were two low-ranking priests and Temple Warrior clad in fine, ornate armor. The Lady of Fortune was the wealthiest of the Deity, so most of the Temple Warrior who worshipped her were equipped with top-tier gear. These eight Temple Guard alone were enough to wipe out an Elite Pirate under Soren's command.
Because Soren could tell at a glance that their weapons were infused with Adamantine!
The Duchy of Rosado.
In the center of a magnificent hall sat a woman who looked quite dangerous.
She stared coldly at the envoy below, a playful smile playing on her alluring face. Her red lips parted slightly as she said, "You mean... Asroder wants to form an alliance with me?"
"Hehe!..."
"Does he deserve it? A puppet supported by the Naga Royal Family! He's so naive as to want to ally with me! I doubt he can even handle the newly risen Throat Cutter right now."
"Get back there now!"
"Go back and tell him! He wants to form an alliance with me! He wants the Naga Royal Family behind him to send an envoy!"
humiliation.
The humiliation from the Red Dragon Duchess angered the messenger in the hall, but he dared not retaliate, for before him lay a terrifying, dangerous, and ruthless woman.
It is said that she slaughtered her entire family in pursuit of power, intending to use some Evil Spell to extract the power of other members of her family who possessed Sorcerer blood. This allowed her to advance to the Legendary within just a few years, becoming the most powerful Red Dragon Sorcerer in the South Coast region. To date, no one has ever witnessed her fighting at full strength, and many believe she possesses power approaching that of High-tier Legendary.
High-tier Legendary Dragonblooded Sorcerer!
This is not only an incredibly powerful Spellcaster, but also a formidable Warrior!
Red Dragon Duchess
Her rise to power was even more dramatic than the rumored Throat Cutter. This Cruelty woman made her debut as the Duke of Rosard's newlywed wife. However, shortly after she married the elderly Old Duke of Rosard, he died, and his three sons also suffered a series of accidental deaths.
at last.
She unsurprisingly seized power and, with astonishing speed, took control of a duchy within just a few years.
She was arguably one of the most feared women on the South Coast!
Her ruthlessness and cruelty are comparable to those of the Drow Matriarch of the Underdark. Almost everyone who deals with her is extremely cautious, because one wrong move could lead to utter destruction!
The envoy slowly withdrew from the main hall.
Before leaving, he took one last deep look at the woman on the Throne, then turned and departed.
