Port Nyanzaru
Three days passed quietly.
Soren was busy analyzing the Spell Formula of ' Melf's Minute Meteors ', while Goria was setting up Magic Circle to seal all the Shadow Rift. Extraplanar infiltration was prone to accidents; whether it was a conflict of Plane law energies leading to mutations, or creatures from the Shadow Plane sneaking into the Material Plane, it would be a very troublesome matter. Therefore, for Goria, before unraveling the mysteries of the Shadow Plane, she needed to ensure her own safety and ability to retreat. As a legitimate Wizard, she would definitely leave herself a safe escape route.
Soren's reckless act of venturing in to explore is typical of Rogue.
Last night.
Goria stayed overnight at Soren's place and also mentioned Vivian's matter.
The little girl has been acting strangely lately, asking her a lot of questions about the soul, even inquiring about where the soul returns after death, how long a pure soul can exist without Plane reincarnation, the final destination of the soul after the death of a living being, and the laws governing the transformation of the soul. Many of these questions stumped even Goria. After all, she was only Wizard had just touched the Legendary Domain; perhaps she possessed the skill of Constructed Life with soul fragments, but she couldn't explain many aspects of the soul.
Vivian carefully wrote everything down, and then asked her some questions about Epic Spell.
That concludes our discussion.
Goria also told Soren quite seriously that the little girl seemed to have asked about the Epic Spell [Wish]. This Spell is taboo among Wizard because it is a legendary Epic Spell that can theoretically grant most wishes, but at a severe price. Wish can resurrect the dead, increase one's strength, grant attributes, and even grant immortality. Theoretically, this Epic Spell can fulfill most mortal wishes, but the price to pay is another matter entirely.
Soren fell silent upon hearing this.
However, he didn't say much, only sighed softly.
The Wish is one of the most difficult Epic Spell to master. Just memorizing the Spell is incredibly difficult, let alone meeting the conditions for casting it.
This Spell ultimately summons Elemental Genie!
The effect is somewhat similar to Aladdin's Lamp; it could summon a Djinni, Dao, or even awaken the most ancient elemental Deity.
There are very few people in the entire world who know this Epic Spell.
Another day has passed in the blink of an eye.
Soren's analysis of the Spell Formula of ' Melf's Minute Meteors ' is finally on track, with progress approaching 45%. As progress increases, his mastery speed also increases, and he estimates that it won't be long before he can memorize it. However, on this same day, the Church of Fortune's fleet finally arrived at Port Nyanzaru, bringing with it a large number of people and supplies.
Port Nyanzaru.
This is the name chosen by Goria. It originates from the divination of the Northern Witch and is a character with special meaning.
She performed a simple divination on the place and finally decided on this name. Soren didn't care much about such things, so he simply named the place ' Port Nyanzaru '.
The Church of Fortune assembled a large fleet.
Their abundant wealth allowed them to use ocean-going ships for transportation. When Soren arrived at the Port Nyanzaru, he saw caravans of emaciated Slave being brought down. These were Slave from the mines. The Church of Fortune secretly controlled many mines, which required a large number of Slave, and the chances of Slave dying while working in the mines were very high. The Church of Fortune secretly controlled a considerable amount of Slave Trade. The money they made was naturally not clean; otherwise, they wouldn't have cooperated with Soren, the pirate Boss.
The Slave brought in by the Church of Fortune were a mixed bunch. Most were human, but there were other races as well.
Soren even spotted a small number of Duergar.
These are top-tier Slave; having been controlled by Mind Flayer for a long time, they are the kind of Slave that are durable and long-lasting. They are highly sought after by many Slave mines.
"Your Mightiness."
After receiving the Slave, the Half-Elf first mate jogged over and said, "The count is complete. A total of 632 Slave were transported, mostly humans, with a few of other races. 32 of them are infected with disease, and some died en route and were thrown into the sea. Shall I go and settle them down now?"
"Hmm." Soren nodded slightly, showing little sympathy for the Slave.
Such Slave were commonplace around the world, and the system of Slave was deeply entrenched, even supported by many Church. Many past ideas were completely meaningless.
The Slave were quickly escorted to the Port Nyanzaru.
Then, the jeweled Golden Priest appeared before Soren. For some reason, he found this woman too conspicuous; perhaps it was her opulent gold attire that made Soren itchy to touch her. As everyone knows, Rogue are easily tempted by such ostentatious gold, wanting to sneak a peek and steal something valuable. Even if the jewelry on this woman wasn't Supernatural Item, it was probably worth more than fifty or sixty thousand Gold Daler.
High-ranking priests are all quite wealthy, and priests under the Goddess of Wealth are even wealthier!
"Your Mightiness."
Jin approached Soren with a broad smile, then gestured towards the port and said with a smile, "Then let's get started."
Rumble!
A silent, loud noise came from the port, immediately attracting the attention of many people.
Then they saw several ocean-going ships lower their decks and open their heavy hatches, letting out some enormous Puppet Golem.
Most of them are Clay Golem and Stone Golem.
These Golem, each about three meters tall, arrived at the port with heavy footsteps. Then, under the control of a third-tier Wizard, they advanced and soon reached the vicinity of the land that Soren had promised to the Temple of Wealth.
Rumble!
A deafening crash echoed, followed by the blasting and leveling of rocks. The dozen or so Puppet Golem pushed forward, crushing everything in their path like giant road rollers. The Stone Golem responsible for splitting rocks and breaking the mountain, Clay Golem underwent slight Polymorph and then worked like mini excavators, quickly leveling the area.
Golem craftsmanship.
Soren looked somewhat astonished, pausing for a moment before recovering. The scene before him was quite impactful; compared to primitive human labor, the Golem worked was like the difference between modern technology and ancient civilization. However, this method was extremely resource-intensive. There were no Elemental Pool in the Wizard Tower to power the Puppet Golem, and such a large energy consumption had to be compensated for with money. This difference was like comparing the fuel consumption of riding a motorcycle to driving a tank.
The Golem are highly efficient!
These were likely specially designed Golem, not intended for combat. In a very short time, the Golem leveled the land and began building foundations. Clay Golem large stones that would normally require two adult men to move, lifting one in each hand and moving quickly. Stone Golem could even lift and carry stones weighing several tons. Their work efficiency was probably greater than that of excavators and cranes, as the latter still required human operation, while the Golem could simply move them.
"Your Mightiness."
Golden Priest looked rather smug and said with considerable pride, "The Church of Fortune will definitely not disappoint you. At this rate, the port will be completed in at most half a month."
Soren remained silent.
The scene before him gave him the feeling that he was a generation ahead of others. While he was still struggling to operate the machines manually, others were already giving him the illusion of semi-mechanization.
Golem.
Soren gazed at the Golem, lost in thought.
Goria's Golem cannot be taken out; they belong to the Witches' Council. She only brought a Clay Golem for cleaning.
However, Soren thought of something else.
--[War of Golems]!
This was a major event that left a deep impression on Soren, and it was this event that made the world aware of the terrifying power of the Legendary Swordmaster.
The War of Golems has not yet begun.
If no one triggers the red alert within the ruins, or if someone cancels the Golem Legion's combat orders beforehand, will the War of Golems still ultimately break out?
If that Golem Legion hadn't been destroyed, how much combat power could they have unleashed?
You need to know.
At the time, some assessed their combat power as equivalent to the main force of a duchy. If it weren't for triggering the Red Alert and causing the War of Golems Golem Legion to go berserk, it wouldn't have forced so many Legendary powerhouses to appear, including the Legendary Swordmaster. These Golem seemed to have been given a final order to destroy everything, but before the order took effect, they were buried and sealed in ruins. Later, some people explored the ruins and, after paying a heavy price, discovered the remains of Undead and Demon.
Some speculate that a terrible Undead Plague had broken out, or that Demon had invaded the area, which is why the Golem Legion was ultimately given the order to destroy everything.
If someone could change this instruction, perhaps everything would be different!
Soren fell into deep thought.
The [War of Golems] is a Legendary- level battle, featuring numerous Legendary powerhouses. The difficulty of exploring the ruins is on par with the Desert Evil Creature; without a Legendary team, you might die without even knowing why. (Note: Most ruins related to the Arcane Empire are of Legendary difficulty.)
The difficulty might not be much lower than the Wizard Tower in the current Shadow Plane!
(P. S.: One update today. It should be almost done by tomorrow. There's a surprise at the end of the month.) (To be continued~^~)
