Slaughtering All Around
The Undead do not tire.
Amidst bursts of cannon fire, the Undrowned Undead on the Speaker of the Dead moved swiftly, unleashing a barrage of fire to the left and right with astonishing speed. Soon, three enemy Warship sank under the barrage, and countless Animate Rigging, like venomous snakes, lashed out, tightly binding any approaching enemies. Soren stood on the deck, Elven War Bow in hand, not in a hurry to kill, but instead firing arrows with pinpoint accuracy at those entangled by the Animate Rigging.
Boom!
The Ghost Ship, the Speaker of the Dead, shuddered.
After a fierce barrage of cannon fire, the enemy finally reacted and began to return fire at the Ghost Ship. Even though the Ghost Ship, as an animated Undead Constructed Life, could automatically Dodge, it was still hit by the dense barrage. A hole appeared in the Ghost Ship's battered hull; the seemingly rotten hull was actually exceptionally sturdy, only a small breach had occurred. But what happened next overturned all the pirates' understanding: wailing Wraith flew out from the Ghost Sail, and then the hull pierced by the cannonballs began to repair itself little by little.
Just like the Regeneration of flesh and blood in a person's body, the area where the Speaker of the Dead was hit gradually recovered to its original state!
That's what makes Ghost Ship so terrifying.
It would never be sunk as easily as other Warship, but as a result of the cost of repairing the hull, the number of Wraith on the Speaker of the Dead was slightly reduced.
These Wraith are part of the Ghost Ship!
The Ghost Ship's regenerative abilities rely on these Wraith, as it is itself an animated Constructed Undead Hit Points.
The number of Deathspeaker Bound Spirit is still plentiful.
In other words, unless their firepower is so fierce that it can tear the Speaker of the Dead apart, Soren has no fear of being sunk by them.
However, the Deathspeaker Bound Spirit are very important; whether this Ghost Ship can continue to improve its strength depends on the number of Deathspeaker Bound Spirit it accumulates. Therefore, he doesn't plan to consume too many.
Full speed ahead!
Seeing that the Arendelle Warship were almost out of danger, Soren immediately ordered, "Sunken Wail, prepare the ram! Ram the ship in front!..."
The Speaker of the Dead began to accelerate.
The sharp ram rammed directly into the pirate ship in front of it, instantly creating a huge hole.
[Sunken Wail] The Ram is the least used piece of equipment by Soren; he prefers the Alchemy Construct Speaker of the Dead Cannon unless the distance is close enough.
"Back off! Turn the boat around!"
With Soren's command given, the Speaker of the Dead didn't need a helmsman at all. It simply turned its Ghost Sail around and created some distance between itself and the enemy.
Soren glanced at the Arendelle navy ahead and said in a deep voice, "Deep Sea Navigation!"
Rumble.
Seawater surged in from all directions, and the Ghost Ship Speaker of the Dead, slowly sank to the bottom of the sea, becoming increasingly indistinct under the veil of mist. Only a ship full of astonished sailors remained, along with the wreckage floating on the surface. The corpses of the enemies had been devoured by the Mutated Tiger Shark. The entire battle lasted less than five minutes; a single volley from the Speaker of the Dead severely damaged the Viking Pirate. As the Speaker of the Dead gradually submerged, the Mutated Tiger Shark also began to descend, and finally, calm returned to the surface of the sea.
"This!..."
On the Warship of Arendelle, the Bearded General general wore a shocked expression. After a long while, he murmured, "Ghost Ship!... Ghost Ship!... Black Sail?!... The Speaker of the Dead?... Soren the Decapitated?!..."
"Is that the Pirate King who roamed the South Coast? Why is he here? Why is he helping us fight our enemies?"
He was filled with doubts, but there were certainly no answers at the moment.
"What!?"
Prince Hans's expression changed drastically, and he angrily asked, "Gone? Where are those Viking Pirate? Are they all dead?"
The situation on the battlefield is constantly changing.
The pirates, who had just felt like they were playing a cat-and-mouse game, suddenly found themselves in a completely different situation after losing contact with several Warship.
They felt as if a shadow was looming over them in the mist, waiting for an opportunity to hunt them down.
The sound of gunfire.
Screams of agony.
The roars of battle.
They heard many sounds in the fog, but couldn't see the battlefield clearly. When they approached the sound, all they saw was spreading blood and a ship gradually sinking.
They lost at least ten warships.
But they couldn't even see a trace of the enemy. Some people only vaguely saw a huge black shadow moving in the Seawater.
Fear spread.
The most terrifying enemy is the unknown one!
Prince Hans was furious, but there was nothing he could do, because he hadn't found any trace of the enemy yet; the damned fog had obscured everything.
Even Arendelle's Warship have vanished without a trace.
"Look!"
The high-ranking Sorcerer standing nearby suddenly spoke up, "Your Highness! There's a living person over there!"
A wooden barrel is floating in front of us.
A blood-soaked pirate sailor clung to it as it floated on the surface. Soren was not a god, after all, and it was difficult to guarantee that no one would escape in such a battle.
"Hurry up!"
Upon hearing this, Prince Hans perked up and immediately shouted, "Get him out! Get him out quickly!"
The sailors on deck began to move.
The pirate was quickly rescued; his breath was very weak, and a wooden plank had pierced his chest. He likely wouldn't live much longer.
"What happened?"
Prince Hans grabbed him and shook him violently, saying, "Tell me! What happened up ahead?"
The pirate sailor gradually regained consciousness. He struggled to open his eyes, and a look of terror crossed his face as he cried out in a trembling voice, "Dead... Undead!... Black Sails!... Ghost Ship!... Monster!... Dead!...!"
"They're all dead!... They're all dead!..."
His words were somewhat incoherent.
But what he said startled everyone nearby, sending a chill down their spines.
It was as if a cold gaze was watching them from within the mist.
"Undead?"
Prince Hans said, his voice slightly hoarse, "Ghost Ship? Black sails? How could that be! What Ghost Ship is this?!"
How could that be!
When did a Ghost Ship appear near Arendelle?
As someone living in a coastal country, he was certainly familiar with the terrifying legends of Ghost Ship, things that were even more frightening than Deep Sea Monster.
Even now, very few people have actually seen it!
"Your Highness!"
A man standing nearby, who appeared to be a naval officer, swallowed hard and lowered his voice, saying, "Legend has it that where Ghost Ship appear, there's an inescapable fog! This place really might be haunted by Undead!..."
"Or?"
"Should we retreat first?"
He was scared.
Not only him, but even the other sailors on deck felt a sense of fear after hearing the news of the Ghost Ship.
You need to know.
Those who die on Ghost Ship may be trapped on it forever.
