"Retreat!"

Prince Hans's expression was uncertain, but he finally gritted his teeth and said, "Let's retreat to Dragon Bone Island first! The current situation is very unfavorable for us. We'll deal with them after we figure out the enemy's situation!"

Damn fog.

This eerie fog completely rendered them useless. They couldn't find any trace of the enemy, nor could they command the battle. Everyone was running around aimlessly in the fog like headless flies. It was simply a matter of taking hits without any strategy. If the enemy really was a Ghost Ship, their losses would only be greater if they stayed. The Undead are immune to fog; they observe the world based on the color of souls. The Undead's vision is more like that of the Spirit Realm —a hazy gray hue—and they can see the light of souls.

In this situation, the enemy can spot them, but they cannot spot the enemy.

Waaaaah!

A mournful horn call sounded, and as the retreating horn sounded, the surrounding Warship involuntarily came to a halt.

"What happened?"

Why did they suddenly retreat?

Where are they?

"Where did Old Deco's ship go? Wasn't it just nearby a moment ago?"

A series of sounds returned.

Those targets marked by the Speaker of the Dead were naturally doomed, but those Warship not targeted by the Speaker of the Dead had been wandering aimlessly without encountering any enemies. Only after the others heard the retreat horn and gradually regrouped near Prince Hans's Warship did they realize that many people seemed to be around them, and one of the fleets that had set off with them had even completely disappeared.

"What happened?"

"Where are Kenna and the others? Why did they come back?"

Some naval commanders from the Southern Island Nation looked around in surprise. After the retreat horn was sounded, Prince Hans's Warship began to retreat, and the other Warship naturally followed. As they gradually left the fog-shrouded area, everything around them gradually became clear. However, when Prince Hans took stock of his Warship, his expression became quite stiff.

Sixteen Warship in total have disappeared.

Five of them were Viking Pirate warships, and the rest were all his men.

The fog ahead remained thick, and everything inside had become eerily quiet. Without the cover of gunfire, they could faintly hear a chilling wail from within the fog. It wasn't a man's wail, but rather a rather shrill, half-male, half-female voice, like background music from a ghost story—quite unsettling to hear.

The initial artillery fire was deafening; now that it's quiet, everyone who heard it feels a chill run down their spine.

"It's Wraith!..."

The high-ranking Sorcerer standing behind Prince Hans wore a grave expression and muttered, "And quite a lot of Wraith!..."

Wraith are a rather special Hit Points of Undead.

Their wailing can have a similar effect to ' Dread,' and ordinary people with weak willpower may faint from fright.

"Retreat!"

Prince Hans held his fleet outside the fog for a moment before gritting his teeth and saying, "Let's go back first."

It seems the Warship that didn't keep up won't be returning.

The Ghost Ship hadn't left the fog's range, thwarting his plan to hit and sink the target. Even now, he wasn't sure if the Ghost Ship had appeared by accident or was reinforcements sent by Arendelle, because everything was too coincidental. They had just arrived at the signal flare's location when they encountered Arendelle's navy, and then they encountered this strange Ghost Ship. If it really was Arendelle's reinforcements, then the situation was rather dire, and a shadow fell over Prince Hans's heart at this thought.

As the fleet of the Southern Island Nation departed.

Some pale, ethereal figures appeared faintly in the mist, followed by a pitch-black Ghost Ship.

Come back.

As Soren finished speaking, all the Ocean Wraith had been fluttering around the Ghost Ship obediently floated down and then merged into the Ghost Sail.

He did not pursue and eliminate the enemy, because no matter how strong Soren was, he was ultimately just a man and a ship.

Legendary Professional may be powerful, but they are not uncommon to be surrounded and killed by enemies. Even Avatar, Avatar of Deity, can be overwhelmed and killed by sheer numbers. Naturally, a Quasi-Legendary like himself wouldn't dare to take such a risk. In fact, he had already achieved his goal. The navy of the Southern Island Nation had suffered such heavy losses that its morale would definitely plummet. At most, news of the pirate raids on the south would arrive in a few days. At that time, the sailors would be eager to return home. Prince Hans would have to be insane to stay here and fight Arendelle to the death, completely ignoring the pirate army ravaging the waters of the Southern Island Nation.

Once his navy retreats, it's never easy to Juantu.

Soren has prepared a feast for him on the West Coast!

He mobilized a large pirate army to control the West Coast, and with the Northern Witches Council as his backing, he could teach Prince Hans a lesson as soon as he finished his business.

Night fell.

Soren stood on the deck, gazing at the sky. The stars seemed somewhat dim tonight; many of the once bright stars now appeared hazy and gray.

These lights grew fainter and fainter.

It seemed as if it would go out soon, and even the bright moon in the night sky seemed to have an extra layer of gray veil.

Time is passing by, little by little.

Soren waited quietly for Midnight. Dealing with Prince Hans wouldn't be limited to simply crushing him on the sea. Soren was Quasi-Legendary Rogue; for a professional like him, using any means necessary to eliminate someone would inevitably lead to dire consequences. If he weren't certain that Prince Hans, as the crown prince, would be protected by high-ranking professionals, he would likely have preferred to decapitate him outright. But such an action was far too risky. He wasn't sure how many Legendary Item Prince Hans possessed, nor how strong his protectors were.

Soren was always cautious; he wouldn't do anything he wasn't sure of.

"Deep Sea Navigation!"

With Soren's command, the Ghost Ship, the Speaker of the Dead, submerged back into the sea and gradually approached Dragon Bone Island.

A huge black shadow moved along with it in the Seawater, eventually stopping about three kilometers from Dragon Bone Island.

"Prepare for battle."

Soren changed into a tight-fitting outfit, and with a flash of cold light, he drew his Scimitar, Icetail. The Ghost Ship was eerily silent. He gazed at the Undrowned Undead stood ready for action and said in a deep voice, "Be prepared to provide support at any time. If you see any fire, bombard the enemy docks from the south."

The Undead Naga Banshee nodded and said, "Yes, Master!"

--"Shadow Hide!"

Soren's figure vanished into the night, accompanied by a Spell Aura. He gradually rose from the Ghost Ship and then floated lightly onto the sea.

"Haste!"

Soren lightly touched the surface of the sea with his toes, and then he soared into the air.

He traversed the sea at high speed, his entire being hurtling towards Dragon Bone Island like an arrow. Back in the Underdark, he had served as Assassin; if it weren't for the Drow Matriarch who had tried to exploit him, Soren might have become Darkness Walker within the Underdark. Having spent years in the Underdark, Soren was already intimately familiar with assassination and hit-and-run tactics. Dealing with the navy of these Southern Island Nation was merely a small test for him.

Clatter

Soren's figure landed lightly on the wooden planks on the side of the harbor. Warship were moored on the dock, along with a number of Guard responsible for training.

He did not rush to launch an attack, but waited patiently.

"Found it!"

A cold glint flashed in Soren's eyes, and he stealthily crept towards a dark corner. He approached silently and then drew his sword in an instant!

Pfft

A spurt of blood splattered out, and Soren slowly lowered the corpse in his hands.

A hidden sentry!

His long experience told him that such an operation required first eliminating the enemy's sentries. Prince Hans couldn't possibly be leading his army to attack Arendelle without even one or two high-ranking Rogue by his side.

"Next."

Soren's figure disappeared into the night once again. Only after dealing with these sentries could tonight be his grand feast of unrestrained hunting.

It seemed he hadn't fought like this in a long time since leaving the Underdark.

Fortunately, my skills haven't become rusty!
