Soren?!
A cold glint appeared.
The patrolling Guard clutched his neck and slowly collapsed to the ground. Before he fell, Soren reached out and caught his body, then placed it in a dark corner around the bend. The enemy wouldn't give him much time. The patrolling Guard would change shifts every so often, and once they noticed something amiss or saw the corpses, the alarm would likely sound soon.
--"Shadow Hide."
Soren observed for a moment expressionlessly, then bent over and leaped, landing with a soft thud as he landed on the roof of the adjacent building.
He crouched low Stealth forward, reaching out to grab the edge of the eaves as he approached, then landed lightly on the ground.
There was a room in front of me.
A chorus of snoring could be heard from inside; the sailors wouldn't stay on the ship after docking.
"One, two, three, four, five, six."
Soren counted the number of people in the room, a cold glint in his eyes. He gently pushed open the door and swiftly slashed at one of them with his sword, blood splattering as he instantly struck another. A cold, merciless flash of blade light appeared as Soren unleashed three strikes in a split second, each hitting a vital point. Then, with a roll, he charged forward, slashing at three more enemies. The entire process took less than three seconds; Soren swiftly and decisively delivered six strikes, leaving six lifeless corpses in the room.
A top-tier free Rogue abandons all boundaries is quite terrifying!
Because no profession is more adept at Stealth and assassination than the Rogue, if they act without restraint, the final result will be quite terrifying. This is only because Soren did not advance to the Assassin specialization; if he had advanced to the Assassin class instead of the shadow Shadow Dancer leans towards direct combat, then tonight would have been a nightmare for everyone!
Arendelle.
The Imperial Palace was brightly lit at night, and Princess Anna sat on her Throne, listening attentively. Beside her stood a fully armed Captain of the Maids and a Witch in a dark blue robe.
Since Prince Hans blockaded the port of Arendelle, the Guard in the Imperial Palace has doubled, with countless overt and covert sentries. The Court Witch Coven have also been summoned and have set up warning Spell Trap throughout the palace. Princess Anna is not the Princess, after all. With the Princess's formidable power, every move in the Imperial Palace is under her control. But now that the Princess has mysteriously disappeared, only the Court Witch Coven can protect Princess Anna's safety.
That's how it is.
A Throne Bearded General, covered in blood, wiped the sweat from his brow and said in a deep voice, "I withdrew from there after realizing something was wrong."
The hall was quiet.
Princess Anna, dressed in a pure white lace dress, listened to the report from the Bearded General general below and said softly, "You mean? A Ghost Ship has appeared nearby? And it's helping us fight those enemies?"
"Yes," the Bearded General nodded, and said in a deep voice, "It didn't attack us. I'm afraid that's really the case."
Upon hearing his words, the others present were clearly somewhat skeptical.
The Frost Witch standing to Princess Anna's right frowned slightly and said, "Ghost Ship are mostly wandering Undead. Even if they appear, they probably won't help others. It's possible that it just happened to be attacking the Viking Pirate and not you; it might just be a coincidence."
The Bearded General glanced at her and said in a deep voice, "I'm afraid that Ghost Ship is controlled by someone."
"I wonder if Your Highness has ever heard of the Headhunter?"
The Headhunter?
Princess Anna looked somewhat bewildered upon hearing this. Since the Princess's mysterious disappearance, she had been utterly exhausted. On one hand, she worried about her Elder Sister's safety and tried to find her. On the other hand, she had to handle numerous affairs within the kingdom. A young woman who had only just come of age was not entirely adept at managing the vast affairs of a kingdom; sometimes she was so tired that she would fall asleep on her desk. Especially after the Viking Pirate raided the coast of Arendelle, the tasks that required her attention had only increased.
She didn't actually know much about things outside the Land of Ice and Snow.
"The Headhunter?"
The only person present who had heard of this name was the Frost Witch, who exclaimed in surprise, "You mean the Pirate King who has recently risen to power on the South Coast?"
"The Headhunter - Soren!"
"It's said he also commands an incredibly powerful Ghost Ship! How could he be here? This is Land of Ice and Snow? And he's supposedly active on the South Coast! That's probably more than half a continent away!"
Soren!!!?
Princess Anna was startled when she heard the name from the Frost Witch, and then stood up in disbelief.
Clatter
The Crystal goblet placed next to the Throne fell to the ground and shattered when Princess Anna accidentally knocked it over.
But at this moment, she was no longer in the mood to care about anything else. Her voice, filled with surprise, joy, and disbelief, murmured, "Soren? You mean his name is Soren? He appeared? He really appeared?"
"Is he back!...?"
Hearing Princess Anna's somewhat incoherent words, everyone else present looked puzzled, except for the Captain of the Maids standing to the side, who looked surprised. Perhaps she didn't know who the Headhunter was, let alone who the Pirate King who had risen on the South Coast half a continent away was, but she knew the name Soren, and was even very familiar with it, because the name had been mentioned by Princess Anna more than once.
Could it really be him?
Princess Anna seemed to suddenly remember something, and said anxiously, "No! It's too dangerous!"
"He's all alone! Gather the army immediately! I need to help him! How can he possibly fight so many enemies by himself!..."
Seeing Princess Anna's fluctuating emotions, the Captain of the Maids immediately reached out and pressed her down, saying in a deep voice, "Your Highness, please don't be anxious! Perhaps it's just a coincidence of names! Besides, if it really is him, given his cautious nature, he shouldn't act rashly!..."
"We probably need to figure this out first."
Princess Anna gradually calmed down upon hearing this, but her expression became very firm. She said earnestly, "It's him! It must be him!"
"He said he would come back when I needed him, that he would stand behind me."
Dragon Bone Island.
Under the pitch-black night, the Slaughter proceeded silently.
After an unknown amount of time, a patrolling Guard finally noticed something was wrong and saw the corpses that had been dragged into a corner.
A piercing alarm sounded!
In an instant.
The entire island was alarmed, and shouts echoed everywhere, waking those who were still asleep.
"Enemy attack!"
"Enemies!"
"Assassin!"
A series of panicked sounds rang out, but were eventually drowned out by a series of explosions.
Rumble!
A series of explosions rang out near the port, seemingly from a gunpowder storage area that had been set on fire. The continuous explosions turned the entire port into a sea of fire.
But this is just the beginning.
Boom boom boom!
The dull sound of cannon fire rang out. In the pitch-black night, a mist appeared in front of the harbor, and then a black Warship emerged from the mist, unleashing a barrage of fire on the warships docked near the harbor.
