The cutting-edge technology of the Arcane Empire, as long as it is not completely damaged, can be gradually restored to its original state.

This is Alchemy Craft used only on Superior Construct Golem of the Arcane Empire. Memory Metal grants these Golem self-repairing abilities, providing exceptional survivability in battle. For example, as Soren witnessed, a wound had been inflicted on the leg of the Superior Construct Golem, yet it quickly healed to its original state. Memory Metal is closely related to the weapons of the Astral Plane Githyanki, and many Wizard organizations are secretly researching this metal to enhance Golem.

Unfortunately, the progress made so far is not significant!

"Concentrate your attack on one location!"

Soren twisted to avoid the greatsword swung by the Superior Construct Golem, simultaneously slashing at the enemy's leg. The Golem possessed immense strength; only the Dwarf Heavy Warrior could withstand its attack. Anyone else would be either dead or severely injured in a direct confrontation. Fortunately, due to its long burial in the Underground World, the Superior Construct Golem's energy reserves were dwindling; otherwise, Soren had no idea what other terrifying attack methods it might possess. Construct Puppet Golem of this level were sometimes akin to simplified versions of Transformers.

Clang!

A series of metallic clanging sounds rang out. The Alloy Steel craftsmanship of the Arcane Empire Era was incredibly advanced. The steel armor of the Superior Construct Golem gave Soren the feeling of dismantling a tank with a melee weapon. This level of Alloy Steel was almost at the aerospace industry standard, leaving Soren feeling helpless and unable to tackle the tough challenge.

Golem have extremely high resistance to Spell and ignore most negative status effects; the only way to deal with them is by brute force.

"I never expected to encounter a situation so soon that was once jokingly referred to as dismantling a Gundam with my bare hands!"

Soren slid three meters to the side, then twisted his grip, changing from a one-handed to a two-handed sword grip, unleashing Sword Momentum: Horizontal Slash that struck the Superior Construct Golem's knee. Perhaps their series of attacks had finally taken effect; the Memory Metal's regenerative abilities had been damaged by the continuous assaults. The Superior Construct Golem swayed, then its movements suddenly became slow and awkward.

Its leg structure is damaged!

"A great opportunity!"

Soren's expression immediately brightened, and he said in a deep voice, "Attack its other leg and disrupt its mobility."

--"Gale Slash!"

With the enemy's movement speed impaired, the initially hesitant Eastern Ronin suddenly became incredibly fierce. Among everyone present, he was the only Warrior -type professional not wearing Heavy Armor. Now that the enemy's movement was restricted, he could attack with unrestrained force. The Eastern Ronin's left hand wielded his sword with lightning speed, his technique somewhat resembling a ' Quickdraw.' In an instant, he unleashed three slashes, all striking the same spot, instantly creating a noticeable crack in the other leg joint of the Superior Construct Golem.

"Is it the faction of the Gale Ronin?"

Soren glanced at him and thought to himself, "So, he might be Ronin has advanced from an Eastern Ranger swordsman?"

The Eastern Realm has many unique advanced professions.

What impressed Soren most was the [Grand Master of Fist] who came from the Eastern World. In the Eastern Realm, there were many professionals who specialized in a certain skill. They believed that this skill could eventually achieve a special harmony with the ' Heavenly Dao ', 'Nature', and 'the World'.

Boom!

The heavy greatsword was slammed down by the Superior Construct Golem. The Dwarf Heavy Warrior, who had withstood the blow once, could no longer take it head-on, and instead used his small stature to dodge the attacks.

"Let me!"

After leaping out of the fray, Soren sheathed his Scimitar, Icetail, and donned a small, pale gold Dagger. He addressed the desert warrior still engaged in combat, "Draw its attacks. I'll sever its legs."

The Icetail Scimitar is indeed Legendary Equipment, but its cutting power is still inferior to the Dagger in Soren's hand.

Because this Dagger is a weapon forged with a large amount of Adamantine.

Of all the special metals, Adamantine has the most astonishing hardness and cutting power! True Adamantine weapons can even cut through Diamond, and this Dagger is better at cutting metal than many Legendary Equipment!

--"Sword Momentum: Whirlwind Dance!"

With a burst of sparks, Soren crouched and charged to the side of the Superior Construct Golem, his Dagger flashing coldly as it sliced through the broken steel armor.

Click!

A distinct cracking sound was heard.

As Soren lunged forward to dodge the swung shield, the Superior Construct Golem behind him swayed violently before crashing to the ground with a thunderous roar.

One of its construct legs was severed!

"Rogue really do need good equipment to survive!... Without a suitable weapon, many skills are useless!"

Soren sheathed the Adamantine Dagger with a backhand motion, then took out his Scimitar, Icetail. The Dagger was too short, too small, and too inconvenient to use. Even though he had been trained in Dagger techniques, Soren still disliked this short and powerful weapon.

Clang!

With one leg severed, the Superior Construct Golem instantly became a sitting duck; its diminished movement speed made it virtually impossible for it to pose a threat to anyone else present.

However, another problem arose.

It seemed to have activated a defensive mode, raising a heavy shield in front of it, instantly giving one the feeling of facing a tortoise shell.

Losing a leg caused it to abandon most of its attacks, and the intelligent commands inputted by the Arcane Empire actually made it know to switch to defensive mode when in a disadvantageous position.

Everyone was a little dumbfounded.

It's not that it's impossible to kill it, but the opponent is clearly in a defensive counterattack stance. Unless you can bait out its counterattack, you're very likely to be caught in the sweeping range of the greatsword after you attack.

"Damn it!"

Soren's expression turned grim as he muttered, "This Golem actually has the Feat of [Expertise]!"

The Puppet Golem of the current era do not possess any Feat abilities.

Only high Golem from the Arcane Empire era could be imbued with special combat Feat by Archmage, and encountering such a high Golem was an extremely frustrating experience.

"This is a tough nut to crack."

The Dwarf Heavy Warrior his battle axe, took a step back, slightly out of breath, and said, "What do we do now? This thing is stuck in place, defending itself! Should we go around it?"

"No!" Soren shook his head and said, "It's better to deal with it first for peace of mind."

A truly disgusting defense Feat!

It essentially abandons offense and prioritizes defense, while also employing some defensive counterattacks. While this Feat is somewhat manageable for other individuals who possess it, allowing them to break through defensive capabilities to some extent, the Feat becomes extremely troublesome when wielded by a high-level Puppet Golem made entirely of steel.

"Cover me!"

Soren frowned and pondered for a moment, then a pale gold Dagger appeared in his palm. He said in a deep voice, "Help me distract it, and I'll find an opportunity to destroy its energy core."

There is no energy source.

Even the most powerful construct Golem just a pile of scrap metal; Soren needs cover for him in such dangerous situations.
