The room was very quiet.

Vivian lay peacefully on the soft velvet bed, her small hands folded across her chest, like a sleeping Little Princess from a fairy tale. Upon seeing Vivian's serene sleeping posture, Soren's gaze softened, and even his entire demeanor softened. Everyone else in the room was keenly perceptive. Goria, watching Soren sitting by the bed gently stroking Vivian's smooth hair, had a complex expression in her eyes, an indescribable emotion.

Even though they were already so close, Vivian was probably still the most important person in Soren's heart.

The Fallen Witch reached out and squeezed her daughter's palm, but said nothing. Goria turned to look at her mother, her expression gradually calming down. She shook her head almost imperceptibly, as if to tell her she didn't care. Women are always prone to craving more, but she never intended to compete with a little girl for anything. Perhaps she was just feeling sentimental.

"How long has she been asleep?"

Soren stood up, his expression suddenly becoming quite serious. He placed his hand on Vivian's fair forehead, closed his eyes to sense something, and whispered, "Did she experience Divine Power outage this time?"

Goria didn't understand what Soren had discovered, but she still said softly, "It's been seven days."

"This time there was nothing unusual; she slept peacefully without any signs of power surging."

Soren frowned upon hearing this and said in a low voice, "Is that so?"

As if she had also discovered something, a faint Spell Aura appeared in the Fallen Witch's eyes. She then took a step forward, muttering, "The Demon aura emanating from her is becoming increasingly pronounced!..."

Fallen Witch.

As the Witch who made a deal with the Succubus Witch Malignant, she is no longer of pure human blood. Therefore, she can sense things more than Goria. Soren, as Demigod and the Child of Slaughter, has intricate connections with the Abyssal Fiend. So, after Soren made his discovery, she noticed the anomaly with a little attention. Vivian's Demon aura was even more pronounced. Even though she didn't exhibit any Divine Power outburst this time, it didn't necessarily mean it was a good thing.

Soren fell silent.

His Deity sense seemed to have given him a vague awareness of something, hence his solemn expression and a hint of worry on his face.

The Fallen Witch came to Vivian's side.

She gestured to Soren, wanting to reach out and touch Vivian's forehead. After receiving Soren's permission, the Fallen Witch bent down and pressed her forehead against Vivian's, and immediately her whole body trembled.

Thump thump thump!

The Fallen Witch, pale-faced, took three steps back. Seeing everyone's gaze fixed on her, she murmured in a low voice, "The Abyss!..."

"The stronger Vivian's power, the closer she gets to the Abyss!..."

Soren's worst fears have finally come true.

The stronger the Fear Divine Power that Vivian inherited, the stronger her attraction to the Abyss.

The transfer of power from the Vampire God Child greatly enhanced her role as the host for the resurrected Demon Lord of Fear. If the situation continues to deteriorate, Vivian might be directly summoned to the Abyss. Among the infamous Godsbane of Slaughter of yesteryear, some of the most powerful were directly summoned into the Abyss.

Vivian's power was drawing her the Abyss, but this approach didn't create any substantial spatial distance, so Goria couldn't sense it at all. However, Soren, as the Child of Slaughter and Demigod, could sense it, as could the Fallen Witch had also made a deal with the Succubus Queen, because they all possessed the aura of the Abyss.

Soren fell into deep thought.

He gently stroked Vivian's smooth, long hair, then turned to look at the others. He said slowly, "Let's go out first."

I'll figure something out.

The Abyss.

This is a terrifying place for ordinary people.

But for Soren, this was just one of the most dangerous places he had ever been! The change in Vivian made him realize that while he had eliminated the Vampire God Child and removed one of the biggest troubles in the Material Plane, he had also caused a large amount of Fear Divine Power to concentrate on Vivian.

This means that his eventual confrontation with the Demon Lord of Fear has been brought forward!

The mission of the Fear God Child was to Slaughter each other. The Vampire God Child replaced Lillian, the Fear Witch was supposed to awaken in Amber City. He slaughtered a large number of Fear God Child. Although there may be some survivors, the accumulated Fear Divine Power was enormous. Reinhard's ascension to godhood as Vampire Portfolio essentially changed the original resurrection schedule. However, after he was killed by Soren as a major threat, the resurrection schedule of the Demon Lord of Fear was corrected back.

The Divine Power returned to Vivian, who was now the true host!

Soren didn't know how much time he had left.

However, he had a strong premonition that his trip to the Abyss had been greatly brought forward.

The only variable right now is!

Will he go to the Abyss before or after the Time of Troubles Time of Troubles? If it's before the Time of Troubles, then the difficulty of his confrontation with the Demon Lord of Fear will increase dramatically. But if it's after the Time of Troubles, then Soren's chances of defeating Him will be at least 60%!

Vivian's power cannot grow any stronger.

As a child, all her power was like a rootless duckweed, which was exactly what the Demon Lord of Fear wanted, because that was how He could easily take back those powers!

Otherwise, how could He have taken away the power that the Godsbane had acquired on his own?

"You can go out now."

Soren sat on the edge of the bed, gazing tenderly at the sleeping Vivian. He turned to look at the others and said softly, "I want to stay here with her for a while."

Goria and the Fallen Witch exchanged a glance, then turned and left the room.

Soren sat at the foot of the bed, gazing at Vivian's small face. He gently stroked the girl's cheek, then leaned down and kissed her forehead, murmuring, "Don't worry."

"Your brother will always stand by your side, and I will face any difficulties with you!"

A faint smile appeared on the little girl's lips.

It's unclear whether she could hear Soren's words, but she must have sensed Soren presence.

Time ticked by, second by second.

Soren sat quietly by the bed, watching the little girl before him, occasionally reaching out to gently stroke her smooth, long hair. His gaze gradually returned to calm, but as he rose to leave the room, Soren's eyes regained their usual cold ruthlessness. He glanced one last time at the sleeping Vivian inside, a strong killing intent resurfacing within him, and whispered, "The Demon Lord of Fear?"

"No matter who it is! Anyone who threatens Vivian must die!..."

Three days passed quickly.

Soren's return finally became known to others. The priests of the Temple of Wealth and the Church of the Sea both came to visit him, and he also met with the representative of the Agricultural Church who had stayed there. Soren himself hadn't expected that the fertilizer he had planned would attract the priests of the Goddess of Agriculture, but since such an opportunity had arisen, he certainly needed to make good use of it. He wasn't sure how much he could change the future now, but every little change was a change, and perhaps a miracle would happen.

Soren has many things to deal with.

There have been some new discoveries in the Shadow Plane, but breaking through the Wizard Tower's defensive lines is still proving difficult, and Soren is worried about being attacked by the Magical Energy Crystal Pulse Cannon.

The Wizard Tower's power supply must be cut off to safely enter!

Intelligence from the vicinity of Falling Leaf City has been sent over. The Half-Elf Half-Elf having a tough time lately, suffering attacks from Orc, Gnoll, Ogre, and other creatures. Other races in the vicinity are watching their plight with indifference. In this turbulent time, many Deity have fallen into slumber, and none of them want to expend their power elsewhere.

Soren pondered the intelligence for a long time.

Ultimately, he put it aside for the time being, planning to deal with it in a few days; the Half-Elf's resources wouldn't be depleted so quickly. He was a Lawful Evil being, and he understood that it was better to offer help in times of need than to add to someone's success. He was waiting for the opportunity to gain the greatest benefit.

Perhaps that's the only advantage of Evil.
