The Mistress
The Wyvern circled above Soren's head, but did not land.
The commotion here has alerted the others in Port Nyanzaru, and some seem to have realized that Soren has returned.
"It looks like Vivian has trained it very well."
A slight smile appeared on Soren's lips, followed by a hint of worry. He murmured, "Vivian didn't come. It seems she's done the same thing as before?"
I don't know why.
In the Divine Power he gained from killing the Vampire God Child, Soren did not sense the will of either the Demon Lord of Fear or the Vampire God Child. The former might be because the Vampire God Child erased the Demon of Demon Lord of Fear's influence after becoming a god, while the latter might be because the Vampire God Child wasn't completely dead, or hadn't completely disappeared. The existence of Deity is different from that of mortals; becoming a god means risking one's soul. While mortals' souls can be reincarnated in other worlds after death, the souls of Deity completely dissipate upon death.
Under normal circumstances.
Soren should have absorbed the Soul Power of the Vampire God Child's, but at the last moment, the Hell Poet stole a portion of it.
Hell Requiem
This enigmatic and Legendary poet has an ambiguous relationship with the Devil of Baator Hell, and in matters of the soul, he probably knows more than Soren.
However, that's not the time to think about that now; Soren plans to go and check on Vivian first.
Port Nyanzaru is almost in sight.
Soren gazed at the city's expanding plans before him, then turned to the Psion behind him and asked, "What do you think of this place?"
The Psion chuckled softly and said slowly, "My master."
"You've reminded me of someone!... A Legendary figure from a very, very long time ago!... He was also a legendary pirate!... Only his legend has been buried by history!..."
A hint of interest appeared on Soren's face as he asked, "Butterfly... who is that? Tell me! Perhaps I've heard of her."
butterfly.
die.
The Psion rarely mentioned her own name. She glanced at the distant Port Nyanzaru and slowly said, "Beldan. A Legendary pirate who once appeared in history. He is very much like my master, except that he ultimately remained a pirate, while my master has gradually stepped into the eternal realm of the Deity."
"He built Baldur's Gate, a place that has long since vanished into the annals of history."
"His legend has probably been erased from this world, even though his name may have been more widely known than that of the Deity at the time. In the end, he was buried by history."
"This reminds me of Baldur's Gate."
"Port Nyanzaru."
"Although Port Nyanzaru shares many similarities with it, there is one difference: this place will stand for a long time because of its owner."
Beldan?
Soren had never heard of this name. Time was so merciless; even powerful Legendary figures, except for the high and mighty Deity, would gradually be erased by history. Just as the Psion had said, there were no more legends about Beldan's Gate in this world. However, Soren had heard of the name Baldur's Gate; it seemed to be a very, very ancient city. Its name had some connection with the Godsbane of Slaughter, but it was too long ago for him to know.
Soren glanced at her and asked, "Where did you learn all this?"
The Psion looked up at the sky and slowly said, "The Astral Plane."
"The Astral Plane Traveler have been observing the changes in this world. Perhaps a thousand years is a vast change for this world, but for the inhabitants of the Astral Plane, it is just a small part of the long river of history. The Astral Traveler record the history of many Plane, which may span thousands or even tens of thousands of years."
Astral Traveler.
Soren smiled and didn't ask any further questions, because Goria's figure had already appeared at the city gate.
"You're finally back!..."
Goria wore a black Wizard's robe, with lace-trimmed black silk gloves on her pale fingers. A large, dreamlike Diamond ring adorned her finger. Her long silver hair shimmered in the sunlight, and even Wizard flowing robe couldn't conceal her exquisitely beautiful curves. A hint of joy appeared on her face when she saw Soren, but when she saw the veiled Psion behind Soren —a woman she could intuitively sensed was beautiful— Goria's expression subtly changed.
Then, as if nothing had happened, she walked gracefully and elegantly to Soren, naturally Soren his arm and lightly pinching it, whether intentionally or unintentionally, and said elegantly, "Is this our guest?"
us.
Our guests.
The strange jealousy and the particular tone of his voice made Soren smile involuntarily, while the Psion in front of him couldn't help but let out a light, flirtatious laugh.
Then.
She approached Goria quietly, gazing at her stunningly beautiful face. Slowly, she knelt on one knee, though her knee didn't touch the ground; it was merely a kneeling position. The Psion took Goria's right hand, and seeing her slightly bewildered expression, bent down and kissed her fingertips, saying in a slightly magnetic, teasing voice, "My beautiful mistress!..."
"My master's follower [Butterfly], a Psion from the Astral Plane, it is a pleasure to meet you."
"Perhaps I can be of service to you."
Whether intentionally or unintentionally, the Psion's full, ample breasts were revealed to Goria as she stood up, leaving Gloria momentarily flustered.
"My lord!"
The Psion's voice echoed in Soren's mind, his tone laced with a hint of flirtation. "My mistress is breathtakingly beautiful! And truly adorable!..."
Soren's lips twitched.
He led Goria was clinging to his arm, away, replying Telepathy, "Don't be silly!..."
A flippant laugh echoed in my mind.
The Psion smiled slightly and replied, "That way, the mistress won't be jealous at all, will she? My master, it seems our secret isn't suitable to be told to too many people yet."
The group entered the Port Nyanzaru.
Several months passed in the blink of an eye, and Port Nyanzaru had changed considerably from what Soren remembered. The roads were much wider than before, and the drainage ditches on both sides were completed. A sculpture of Soren's heroic figure stood in the central square. Most of the neat brick houses were completed, the garrison camp and drill ground were built, the city gate was rebuilt and expanded, and the cultivated land outside was now a lush green wheat field.
It may not be as bustling as Port Nyanzaru, but Port Nyanzaru's bustling atmosphere has a noisy and frivolous feel, while this city has a heavy and profound sense of history.
This is exactly what Soren needs.
The port's prosperity is merely a fleeting illusion; its true foundation lies here!
Council Hall.
Soren had a room arranged for the Psion, and then headed towards Vivian's room.
As expected.
The little girl entered the same state as before, and she fell into a deep sleep.
"Lulu?!"
Accompanying Soren was the Fallen Witch. When she saw Soren, her eyes lit up, as if she had discovered something that even Goria hadn't noticed. She kept her gaze fixed on Soren with a meaningful look, but didn't speak, simply following quietly behind, occasionally glancing at her daughter beside her with a look that carried a hint of guilt or some other emotion.
A tiny Catgirl sat in front of Vivian's door.
She hadn't slept in ages; her beautiful eyes were now marred by dark circles, and she looked like she was trying to doze off but was forcing herself to stay awake.
Hearing Soren's voice, she jumped up instantly, and said, seemingly a little dazed, "Meow?!... Lulu's here!... Lulu's been watching over Master!... Lulu hasn't been slacking off!..."
Soren bent down and patted her little head, saying with a touch of tenderness, "Lulu, be good!... Go and rest now..."
"We're here."
The little Catgirl gently shook her head and said timidly, "No!... Vivian for a long time!... Lulu is a little worried... Lulu wants to stay with her until she wakes up!... Meow!..."
