Domain [Pirate]

A peaceful day.

Soren sat in the hall, reviewing the intelligence reports that had been delivered to him. The situation on the continent was becoming increasingly chaotic, and the war in the southern countries showed signs of spreading further. The long-standing oppression and exploitation by the nobles had already accumulated enough hatred to explode like fireworks with the slightest provocation from someone with ulterior motives. As for who was secretly stirring things up, even with Soren's intelligence-gathering abilities, he couldn't be sure, but he could roughly guess that Devil were active, as well as some followers of Evil God.

The irony is...!

Surprisingly, it was the numerous Church of Deity that were doing their utmost to maintain Order and stand on the side of the nobles. Even the Church of benevolent Deity seemed to have no choice but to extend a helping hand to the corrupt and decadent nobles.

Because once Order is broken, even greater chaos will follow.

"Falling Leaf City should be able to hold out for a while longer."

Soren put down the scroll in his hand, tapping the table lightly with his index finger, and murmured, "The Half-Elf still have their foundation. Even if they lose their priests and Deity, they still have druids and Wizard to hold them off! The Gnoll King, Yeenoghu, was one of the Abyssal Lord Soren was familiar with, primarily because of his sizable Gnoll minions and Abyss Ghoul. In a sense, he was the ultimate boss for Adventurer venturing into the Abyss. While other Abyssal Lord were difficult to deal with, Yenogu commanded a large number of minions capable of slaying monsters.

After all, the Challenge Rating of Gnoll and Ghoul are not high, and even with the increased difficulty of the Abyss, they are still within the range that others can bear.

Soren spent some time on the 422nd Layer of the Abyss.

"Perhaps we should send a group of people to stand by first."

Soren glanced at the portrait before him, as if recalling something, then tossed the paper aside. He muttered, "The underlings of Gnoll King Yeenoghu of the Gnolls aren't strong, but they're still terrifying beings in the Material Plane. Looks like I need to prepare some contingency plans."

Soren stood up and walked outside.

Nearly half a month has passed in the blink of an eye. During this time, Soren has made many arrangements and gathered intelligence from various sources.

There's not much to mention.

Port Nyanzaru is always Order, with everyone busy doing their own thing.

Soren got up and walked towards Port Nyanzaru. He had recently made some breakthroughs in his special abilities and still needed to explore them on his own.

Demigod.

Some believe that Demigod are an advancement of Legendary. But in fact, Demigod are another form of Hit Points, a fusion of mortals and laws.

Legendary is the limit of mortals!

If the Deity stripped away all realms, they would merely be powerful Legendary. A level 20 profession is Legendary, and a level 40 profession is also Legendary; the difference is simply in the strength of the beings, not in the essence of their Hit Points forms. But Demigod are different. Demigod represent a different Hit Points form and a different path. From the moment he became Demigod, Soren was like a mortal Advanced Class Professional, embarking on a long and far more arduous path.

Soren has awakened a new power!

Or rather, he had already accumulated this ability, but it only awakened automatically when he became Demigod.

When Soren first learned about this field, he was actually a little surprised.

The prototype of all Portfolio, and also the first step in the extension of Deity power.

Legendary belong to Deity, so Legendary Rogue may possess the [Shadow Domain], which is actually the foundation for godhood. However, this foundation has been essentially sealed off because there is a [Lord of Shadows] above it. As long as this Deity does not fall, the [Shadow Domain] can not be improved. It can only be transformed into a Legendary Skill that allows one to travel between the Shadow Plane and the Material Plane, enhance one's shadow abilities, and gain more survival skills.

Pirate Domain.

A realm that even Soren himself was somewhat unfamiliar with, and who was even unsure of its potential impact.

This doesn't seem to be a battleground, nor can it be considered a profession, because piracy is just an industry with all sorts of professionals.

Deity have many extended realms.

A powerful and ancient Deity may have dozens of domains extending into, allowing Him to seize the Portfolio of other Deity at the opportune moment.

The most typical example is Lolth, the Spider Queen.

Without the power of a domain, it's difficult to adapt to a new Portfolio. Just like Soren was completely unable to integrate the power of the [Vampire] Portfolio because he wasn't Vampire to begin with.

Similarly, if Soren did not possess Half-Elf blood, he would not have been able to obtain information about the [Half-Elf] Portfolio.

Racial Portfolio actually has quite a few limitations!

However, apart from racial Portfolio, other Portfolio Fusion, as many Deity use their domain power as a springboard to acquire other Portfolio abilities.

Pirate Domain.

This was a realm that Soren couldn't determine as useful or useless, because he had no intention of Portfolio pirates. This Portfolio was entirely controlled by the Goddess of the Sea; the sea was her domain, and pirates without the sea were a joke. Furthermore, the potential of the Pirate Portfolio was even smaller than that of racial Portfolio; Soren couldn't possibly expect to develop a large-scale pirate population, could he?

Who will produce? Who will create? Who will labor?

Piracy, as a plundering profession, has no potential. Although Soren relied on the power of pirates, he never intended to make it his core Portfolio.

But!

Soren's comprehension of the Pirate Domain significantly boosted his abilities. Upon mastering his first domain's power, he finally advanced to become a true Demigod.

This is the [Avatar Form].

It was also the first extension of his abilities that he gained after entering the realm of Deity, and it also gave him the opportunity to master other abilities.

For example, one that appears now!

The data in Soren's mind underwent some unpredictable change, but there is no doubt that its existence is closer to the abilities of the Deity Template, or rather, it has begun to merge with the power of Divine Rank.

"Cross-Planar Communication [Demigod Realm]: The ability to communicate with specific beings across space and Plane, including summoning, praying to, and offering sacrifices to certain beings. Deity use this ability to connect with their followers, and Demigod can also rely on such beings to develop their own followers. This ability can directly traverse most Plane."

"Astral Projection [Demigod Realm]: Demigod possess the ability to traverse Plane, a power born from their fusion with the laws of the universe. Even Warrior without any Arcane Magic abilities can perform Astral Projection."

(Note: This ability is a prerequisite for Deity abilities such as [Plane Teleportation], [Plane Travel], [Free Plane Teleportation], and [Free Plane Travel].)

This is an advanced ability that Soren awakened due to his Demigod status, but mastering these abilities requires consuming Slaughter Experience and Divine Power Value. Slaughter Experience is relatively easy to obtain, but Soren simply doesn't have any Divine Power Value at all!

There is another rather abnormal ability, but it is not brought about by the domain, but by the Divine Rank.

"Alter Form [Divine Ability]: Psionics freely change their own form or the form of others, with an effect equivalent to [Greater Polymorph]. Theoretically, Deity can Change Shape into any creature they have seen and understand, while gaining some of those creatures' abilities. Alternatively, they can transform a creature into any form they desire, such as a Frog, a rabbit, and a chicken. The casting level of this ability is determined by the Deity's power."
