Pirate Domain.

Soren stood atop the lighthouse, gazing at the bustling port before him, and fell into deep thought.

Seafaring requires guidance, and a lighthouse is an important facility in a port. This 210-meter-tall lighthouse was completed with the help of the Witches' Council. Ordinary construction techniques would be very complicated, and only Witch could easily build such a tall structure. Because of this lighthouse, the nearby shipping routes have become much safer, and even from a great distance, the guiding light can be seen in the darkness.

A howling sea breeze came out in my face.

From this vantage point, Soren could easily overlook the entire harbor. Gazing at the Temple of the Sea and the Temple of Wealth built on his left and right sides respectively, he murmured, "Pirate Domain."

"Piracy, as an industry, is essentially a domain of [Pillage]."

"But the true realm of Pillage should be aggressive, encompassing all sorts of other categories, such as the Gnoll King, Yeenoghu, who is the Deity of the Pillage realm. Gnoll are not naturally productive, so they survive by Pillage others."

"Pirates are also a group of people who do not engage in productive labor."

"Without the rules I set, they would have no choice but to survive by robbing other caravans."

"The limitations are still too great."

"Pirates are essentially no different from bandits, Brigand, horse thieves, etc., except that because they operate on the high seas, pirates are far more numerous and capable than other plundering professions."

"Too little potential."

"It's almost impossible to gain influence over the [Pillage] domain using the [Pirate] domain; it seems it can only exist as an extension of the Domain Ability."

Soren's hair danced in the wind.

Having clarified his thoughts, he had a clearer and more defined plan for the future.

"Pirate [Domain]: You possess unprecedented prestige among pirates. This Domain Ability grants you additional bonuses in anything related to pirates. You will more easily gain the respect, admiration, and following of other pirates, and when you defeat a group of pirates, you will be able to subdue them more easily. In combat, you can activate [Pirate Domain], granting any pirate within its range a Courage bonus, equivalent to the 6th-Level Spell ' Greater Heroism '. This ability is Domain Ability and has domain priority!"

[Note: Fear Divinity and Legendary Degree enhance the effects of some Pirate Domain.]

This is the capability of the Pirate Domain.

Every field has its unique abilities; the Shadow Domain allows one to freely traverse Shadow Plane.

"Greater Heroism [6th-Level Spell]: This is an enhanced version of Heroism, which greatly inspires the courage of others. Greater Heroism, the target temporarily gains a +4 speed boost, is immune to any fear effects, and temporarily gains an additional Hit Points equal to your spell level during combat, up to a maximum of 20 temporary Hit Points."

courage.

It can make people stronger. Some people who should have died have managed to accomplish great things because of their inner beliefs.

This is similar to the temporary Hit Points bonus effect of ' Greater Heroism '.

There are many such examples in real life: many people whose injuries were so severe that they should have died, yet they fought against God of Death with their faith and courage!

The power of belief is so strong.

Soren's Pirate Domain is enhanced by Fear Divinity and Legendary Degree. The exact effects are uncertain, but immunity to fear is most likely a bonus from Fear Divinity, while the Legendary Degree bonus should manifest as a morale increase. Soren has 10 Wizard Level within his Pirate Domain. His pirates can gain an additional 10 temporary Hit Points points, which is close to the Hit Points of a class level.

Obviously.

The ability in this area is not about improving one's own combat power.

Soren climbed down from the lighthouse and watched as several pirate henchmen were dragged out of the tavern and taken away by the security patrol for drunken brawls. He muttered to himself, "Why do I always have this feeling that I might end up completely down the path of piracy?"

Pirates held a significant position within his power base.

Soren felt it necessary to develop other forces, or to train the pirates into a real army.

Once you've clarified your thinking, your ideas will become clear.

When it came to enhancing his Demigod abilities, Soren unhesitatingly chose ' Comprehend Languages ', ' Comprehend Languages ', and ' Cross-Planar Communication '.

Teleportation can be addressed by improving the Wizard Level. Cross-planar Travel is a daily routine for high-level Wizard, Soren's Wizard Class Level is almost at that threshold.

As for the ability to [Alter Form], forget about it for the time being.

Soren currently has no Divine Power Value. Relying entirely on Slaughter Experience to master it is very costly, so he can only choose to master the most important ones.

Comprehend Languages and Comprehend Languages plays a vital role in any Plane.

Soren cannot always rely on Telepathy Telepathy, especially since it is very mentally taxing.

Then there's ' Cross-Planar Communication,' which is the most important ability. Soren's ability to actively control his communication with the Half-Elf depends entirely on this Demigod power.

In theory.

Soren is now in a transitional period from ' Demigod ' to ' False Deity ', and he has already developed the ability to communicate with his followers.

Now.

All Soren needs to do is wait for a true believer to contact him, and then use his ability to Cross-Planar Communication to tell him his [True Name]!

--Soren.

He may not be able to bestow Divine Magic yet, but being able to communicate is a start!

Falling Leaf City.

The war had ravaged the beautiful city, leaving it riddled with holes and teeming with refugees from all over. The frenzied attacks of Orc and Gnoll had spread to many areas, forcing residents of numerous towns and villages to flee to Falling Leaf City, for only the city could offer them refuge in such times. The rudimentary fences and walls were utterly ineffective against the Gnoll, and even the towering City Wall of Falling Leaf City were severely damaged in the days of siege.

Among the enemies are traces of Abyssal Gnoll, and the Orc' primitive and brutal Giant Catapult are incredibly powerful!

They have the support of the Abyssal Lord.

The power of some Siege Engine clearly exceeded expectations; this was not Orc could pull off.

The temple of the ' God of Half-Elves and Rogues '.

Even though this Deity has completely perished, and even the statue has lost its luster and collapsed, his priests have not all left.

Even though faith has been lost, life must go on.

The attacks by Orc and Gnoll increased the pressure on the city's defenses. Although the priests could no longer use Divine Magic, the combat skills they had been trained in remained. They were not weak Spellcaster; they were beings clad in Full Plate Armor, wielding Warhammer, and capable of casting Spell. The priests also began to join the battle, fighting on the front lines like Warrior.

They are devout shepherds; they will not fall so easily!

The faith in the Deity has been lost, but the faith in protecting this city, and in protecting the elderly, women, and children, remains.

A deafening battle cry rang out.

The temple was filled with refugees, but the vast majority of them were the elderly, women, and children; all the adult men had been conscripted into the militia. This once sacred and glorious temple had now become Refugee Shelter, filled with the cries of children. Mothers wept as they comforted their children, all of whom had lost their loved ones in the war.

They lacked food.

The Orc launched their attack before the crops ripened. A young and beautiful mother, starving and unable to breastfeed her child, wept as she listened to her child's wailing cries. Even though she squeezed her increasingly dry breasts with all her might, she could not squeeze out a single drop of milk to satisfy the hungry and crying child in her arms.

She hasn't eaten for several days.

A hint of sympathy and pity appeared in the eyes of the others, but they were powerless to help, for all they could share was a bowl of watery porridge with only a handful of grains of rice.

The child's crying broke the young mother's heart.

With trembling hands, she pulled a Dagger from her waist. A cold glint appeared in its light as the young mother stared at the child in her arms and used the Dagger to cut her own finger.

Bright red blood flowed out.

She put her finger into the baby's mouth, and hunger made the young child suckle desperately. The mother gently wiped the blood from the corner of the baby's mouth with her other hand, and a faint smile finally appeared on her pale and beautiful face.
