The Blood Giant's colossal body finally shrank, and when it shrunk to the size of an ordinary Giant, Soren finally saw within it a Spirits invisible to the naked eye. This was the perception of Deity; if an ordinary person had defeated it, they would likely have struggled to kill it. However, in a battle Deity Deity, Soren was able to directly destroy the opponent's very soul. It was a twisted Spirits, its chaotic will completely controlling it, to the point that it had lost even its original form.

Deity without a physical body is completely different from Deity with a physical body. The Evil God before him grew entirely through Blood Sacrifice and offerings. This is because Deity receive countless prayers daily—hundreds of thousands, even millions—over thousands of years. An ordinary person would likely go insane on the spot. Only the immense power and willpower of Deity can withstand such overwhelming information. Therefore, some Ancient God relinquished their Portfolio, retaining only their Divine Power and retiring into seclusion.
God of Death, like Jergal, is like this, and so is Mother of the Earth.
Deity also have their own responsibilities; they are not as free as Demon and Devil. Even the most depraved Evil God god knows that believers are the lambs he shepherds, and that he has a responsibility to protect them.
Those who hold a corresponding Portfolio bear corresponding responsibilities.
Some Portfolio may be easy, but they are undoubtedly weak. God of Death needs to maintain the flow of the River Styx, and they guide and distribute souls, deciding whether they belong to the realm of the Deity or elsewhere. The Lord of Radiance uphold Justice; no matter how much Evil exists in the world, He must ensure that Justice and kindness shine upon humanity. Portfolio itself is a responsibility bestowed upon the Deity by the world, and even the weak Goddess of Dance must fulfill the obligations of her Portfolio.
The same applies to Soren's Half-Elf Portfolio; if he fails to fulfill his Deity responsibilities, he must pay the price!
The price might be death.
The idea of retiring after becoming Deity is unrealistic. Jergal, the God of Death, and the Mother of the Earth are incredibly powerful Ancient God. Even if they relinquished their Portfolio, other Greater Divinity Deity might not be able to defeat them. Therefore, they could easily retire and live the lives they desired. However, without sufficient Divine Power, if Deity relinquishes their Portfolio, it means their enemies will launch a fierce counterattack.

Soren watched the Spirits gradually dissipate before him, his expression remarkably calm.
As a being who attained godhood through his physical body, he was inherently superior to these souls, because a physical body provides a foundation. Souls are too easily twisted and reshaped; just look at the various mutations in the Baator Hell and the Abyss to understand this. Souls themselves have a high affinity for energy, but this affinity is also too easily interfered with by power.
The practice of Spiritual Body can easily lead to being hijacked by faith, and Soren's current situation is a prime example.

Chaotic Divine Power.
The Divine Power composed entirely of blood sacrifices is not pure at all; it is a chaotic force. Soren does not need this kind of power. The Divine Power he needs should be formed from the Power of Faith of his believers, not the Divine Power derived from the scene before him. This power is Chaotic Evil, and once the power of Deity is absorbed, it is as if it has been integrated into one's own body. He is not yet confident that he can transform these forces through his own divine Divine Power before he has been deified.
The Divine Power on the altar is dissipating!

The largest landmass is in the center, while the other two continents are in a more desolate area, including a terrible desert that occupies nearly half of the continent's area, a disaster left over from the Arcane Empire era.

Soren saw a plane that supported the world, as if the mountains, rivers, and land were just a painting, the work of some powerful Deity.
This is the Material Plane.
Soren stood beneath the Endless Starry Sky, watching other Plane of existence streak across the Astral Plane plane—separate, independent worlds. Perhaps they were Demiplane remnants from the annals of history, or undiscovered Material Plane. Above him shone a dazzling array of stars, but when he looked down, he saw not stars, but countless realms of Deity. Among them, a dimly lit realm called to him, as if awaiting his return.
Soren stood in the Void.
Behind him stretched a dazzling Milky Way; everything before him was breathtaking! This was a sight only Deity could witness!
My consciousness began to decline.
When Soren opened his eyes again, he was still standing in the same spot, with mottled bloodstains on the ground. Everything he had just seen seemed like an illusion.
But he knew it wasn't a hallucination!
