"Die!" Soren sheathed his blade and thrust forward, using the explosive force of his charge and his own strength to slam directly into the Lizardfolk Stalker. A foul stench hit him in the face, but his expression did not change as he gripped the scimitar with both hands and drove it deep in, pinning the target to the ground on the spot. The force of his charge struck the creature, making it lose balance instantly and leaving it unable to resist. At the moment it fell, Soren's blade pierced its heart. Only after the Lizardfolk Stalker's corpse stopped twitching did he slowly rise.
The battle here drew quite a bit of attention.
Soren pulled out his scimitar and shouted around him, "What are you standing around for?! Get to the front and defend it now!"
There should still be another Lizardfolk Stalker.
Many creatures could advance into Rogues, but advancing into a Stalker required considerable talent. There should not have been many among the Lizardfolk tribe, yet he had only just heard the disturbance when a fire broke out here. There were probably around two enemies who had infiltrated. Someone had to help set the warehouse ablaze so quickly. The flames were spreading rapidly in every direction, and there had to be at least two or three places where the fires had been started.
Soren slipped back into the shadows.
Lizardfolk possessed innate bonuses to Strength and Dexterity. Though they were not particularly intelligent, their average attributes were somewhat higher than those of humans. If an ordinary person's average Strength and Dexterity were 10, then a Lizardfolk's average Strength and Dexterity would be 12. The Lizardfolk who advanced into Stalkers were all fairly talented. He had caught that one off guard just now, but the enemy should be on guard
