The Seventh Universe was far too vast. Yakelis and Helles had searched for years, yet they had never received any news concerning Chen Tian.
Not long ago, they had received news from Qing Wan.
But it had not been a reunion. Rather, the Protective Item Yakelis had given Qing Wan shattered, and in that instant, Yakelis had nearly wanted to rush straight back!
Because the last thing Chen Tian had instructed them to do was protect Qing Wan.
Yet Qing Wan had now used the Protective Item. Whether the matter was good or bad, one thing was certain: she had encountered trouble! Neither of them knew where Qing Wan had gone, what her purpose was, or what exactly had happened.
They knew none of it. They revered Qing Wan as Madam, and they still obediently carried out her orders.
After all, she was Chen Tian's woman. They simply did not know whether she and Chen Tian had ever shared a bed, but since Chen Tian had instructed the two of them to protect her, there were naturally signs to be seen.
Although their initial purpose had been to find her and bring her back to Master, too many things had happened afterward, leading to the present outcome.
Helles had once seen Qing Wan's extraordinary nature. She carried an aura that was domineering and ancient.
It was as though she did not belong to this era. Even the faintest traces of power she occasionally revealed differed from this age.
Yet they were purer than those of the present.
Yakelis took out the Magic Tome and searched through it for the scant information related to Qing Wan.
But the Magic Tome seemed to be under control; it simply could not uncover any trace of Qing Wan.
It left behind only a hazy expanse. Yakelis refused to believe it and forcibly charged through that haze, compelling the Magic Tome to search.
The result nearly caused her to perish! Through this, they finally understood that Qing Wan had definitely come from another universe! Moreover, she was a peerless genius from some era countless ages ago! Even so, Helles still wanted to investigate a little further. He wanted to know more.
After all, Qing Wan was in trouble. As Chen Tian's servants, they had to ensure her safety no matter what.
Thus, he activated the Sacrificial Altar and used a supreme method to create a Magic Mirror.
This was an exceedingly terrifying technique. Every item it created was an earth-shaking existence.
Placed outside, any one of them would be enough to trigger a colossal upheaval!
The Magic Mirror was even more so. Its ability was to begin searching for the desired answer based on clues from its creator.
The process involved tremendous consequences. The Magic Mirror forcibly searched across time, space, and even laws.
If it were not itself an item of an extraordinarily strange origin, any other weapon or vessel would have shattered in moments.
Because ordinary objects simply could not cross the laws of the universe. However, Helles was only at the True God level. Forcibly activating the Sacrificial Altar had already cost him a pair of wings as payment.
If he failed, or did not obtain the answer he wanted, then he would lose a pair of wings for nothing.
Once the Sacrificial Altar began, Helles stared fixedly at the changes that would appear in the Magic Mirror before him.
He could not miss even a shred of intelligence.
He had to imprint every single image that appeared in the Magic Mirror completely into his mind.
Very soon, an abnormality began to appear in the Magic Mirror. A mass of black-purple mist first rolled about several times, after which scattered images emerged.
Helles knew what this was. He had used the Sacrificial Altar before, and such scattered scenes meant that the Magic Mirror had begun its search.
Moreover, it was searching by force beneath the restrictions of countless rules.
Time passed second by second, and the fragmented images gradually sped up. Those were not the main things, merely extraneous sights that had appeared during the search.
Now, the Magic Mirror began clearing them away, skipping past them to strike directly at the important images.
Before long, the images finally slowed. Like a film being played, the Magic Mirror began to shift through scenes one by one.
Helles did not dare breathe loudly, nor did he dare blink! He feared that in the instant he blinked, he would miss crucial information.
Once the Magic Mirror began, it could not be stopped. He could only wait for its search to end, and it could not replay anything either.
So Helles watched with utter concentration.
At his side, Yakelis was also observing everything. She understood well that she could not disturb Helles now, or the Magic Mirror might suffer an accident.
Causing an error in the search!
The Magic Mirror continued shifting through scenes, but they were all insignificant images from everyday life.
From Blue Village to Ten Thousand Stars, many of the scenes were things Chen Tian had experienced. Even the two of them appeared within them at the end.
After a while, the Magic Mirror seemed to sense how urgently Helles and Yakelis wished to obtain news of Qing Wan.
Before long, the scene shifted.
It was the sight of Ten Thousand Stars after its destruction.
Yakelis could not forget what Ten Thousand Stars had looked like when it was destroyed, like a flower blooming with every ounce of its strength.
Like dazzling fireworks, it vanished in the blink of an eye. Then, the scene in the Magic Mirror changed once more.
Qing Wan's figure began to appear. She left Ten Thousand Stars through a crack and stepped into an extremely dark place.
Nothing could be seen ahead. Qing Wan merely walked forward step by step.
Yakelis's long brows furrowed slightly, and her expression turned solemn.
She found it strange. Where exactly was this place Qing Wan had gone to?
Why had she come here? Helles was equally puzzled, his tightly knitted brows nearly wringing out water.
The Magic Mirror stopped shifting and began following Qing Wan's trail, revealing everything.
Qing Wan continued forward, her footsteps producing crisp echoes beneath her feet.
Helles felt as though he were there in person.
Qing Wan walked for a long time. Finally! A ray of light appeared at the end, and as Qing Wan drew closer, the light grew increasingly intense.
Helles and Yakelis watched this scene nervously. They both desperately wanted to know what lay beyond the light! What could have made Qing Wan go there alone? Just as Qing Wan stepped into that radiance, the Magic Mirror suddenly shook! A sizzling sound rang out.
Helles hurried forward to inspect it.
But a powerful light shone into his eyes, forcing him to stop, tightly close his eyes, and making it impossible for him to take another step forward.
At this moment, the Magic Mirror emitted a rumbling roar.
The scene shifted, and another sight appeared.
Helles slowly opened his eyes and gradually looked toward the Magic Mirror.
He saw that the image had already changed, and Qing Wan was standing within it. Yakelis took quite a while to recover from the white radiance the Magic Mirror had suddenly burst forth with.
Then, disregarding the lingering discomfort in her eyes, she hurriedly looked toward the Magic Mirror.
Fortunately, nothing had gone wrong. Only the image had changed, and Qing Wan had arrived somewhere else.
When she opened her mouth to ask Helles where Qing Wan was now, she received only a look from his eyes in response.
She froze for a moment, unable to understand what Helles's tense and urgent gaze meant.
She could only quiet herself with him and wait silently for the Magic Mirror's changes.
