Ning Qi conquered the Immortal Gate’s trials, received Di Xi’s inheritance, and traveled toward the Myriad Sword Sect while searching for Xu Qingqiu. After rescuing Princess Xiangxiang and surviving intrigue aboard the Giant Ship, he entered Cloud City with her and prepared to attend an auction.
Ning Qi helped Li Xiangrou return to Yue Country, overcome her rivals, and take the throne before leaving to reunite with Xu Qingqiu. At the Myriad Sword Sect, he agreed to join a Boundary Sea Battlefield trial and won a Golden Immortal corpse and the Weaving Fate ribbon at auction, drawing a young man's hostility.
Ning Qi followed Xu Qingqiu’s investigation into a Devil Race plot, then infiltrated the hidden clan by posing as one of its own and was accepted as a Devil God royal descendant. As the clan launched an operation to capture Gu Yueying, Ning Qi secretly arranged to seize her himself.
Ning Qi escaped Gu Yueying, broke through to Golden Immortal strength, and explored the Boundary Sea Dynasty’s graveyard and a sealed realm. After claiming Origin Power and subduing two Divine Beasts, he entered a strange desert region and suspected an unseen watcher was guiding their path.
Ning Qi investigated the Wanxiao Sect’s Spirit Eaters, then joined the Devil Race’s frontier campaign and infiltrated Immortal Clan territory. After gaining Incense Power and befriending Thousand Crane Sect disciples, he discovered a hidden Dragon Palace passage that opened when the Azure Dragon used his bloodline.
Ning Qi gained Dragon Clan power, reached Daluo Golden Immortal strength, and became entangled in the Immortal Clan’s conflict with the Devil Race. After returning to the Thousand Crane Sect and discovering a war was imminent, he fought while hiding his strength and captured a Devil Race Golden Immortal for questioning.
Ning Qi joined Gao Lingtian’s expedition and uncovered the dangers and concealed purpose of the sword tomb while gathering Sword Qi and capturing the Origin Flame. He broke through to Primordial Unity Golden Immortal and led the survivors past a Void Insect Swarm toward the next level.
Ning Qi entered the Sword King’s Inner Realm, gained the Heavenly Profound Sword Art, and found Heavenly Tribulation, which the Medicine Spirit eventually became its Sword Spirit. A compass led Ning Qi toward another inheritance site, where he began exploring the ruins aboard a Flying Vessel and reached a bamboo house.
Ning Qi uncovered the Sword Spirit King's scheme to draw inheritors into a trap, rescued his companions, and defeated the king. After Heavenly Tribulation absorbed the king's Sword Soul and Medicine Spirit endured its tribulation, Ning Qi headed toward Human Race territory and found a dangerous abandoned sect.
Ning Qi reunited with Xu Qingqiu, acquired treasures connected to Mount Buzhou, and defeated pursuers before entering the Inheritance Land. He refined formation Origin Power to reach Archaic Golden Immortal, then encountered a powerful light figure beneath a pool of spirit marrow essence while Medicine Spirit remained absent.
