The Evil Dragon Can Summon Heroes?
In the central square of Lionheart City, Lance, who had been invited out by the clergy of the Valkyrie Temple, sat on a bench beside the fountain waterfall, where tourists and travelers could rest, his mind replaying the expression on the Valkyrie Statue in the temple.
He called out "Sophia, pay me back!" three times, Valkyrie Statue's expression didn't change. A statue with divinity would undergo some incredible changes if it sensed that believers in the human world were calling out the name of a deity.
Some clergy members can notice this change, while others cannot.
The statues in temples in small cities lack divinity. To attract the attention of the gods, one must go to large cities, such as the capital of a kingdom or the Sacred Ground of major temples, where the statues are more divine.
If you ask Sophia to pay back the money, the Valkyrie Statue should respond.
If Sophia is indeed the Valkyrie Lance, then Sophia is truly an old woman who has lived longer than this black dragon.
"Your Little Dragon Highness, I'm doomed. The Valkyrie Temple may never welcome me again." Joanna sat beside the baby dragon, covering her face with her hands. She would never be able to face the Valkyrie Temple again. The guest she brought suddenly shouted in front of the Valkyrie Statue, "Sophia, pay back the money."
Whatever the reason, the temple will certainly not welcome her anytime soon.
The one who just lifted Lance was a bishop from the Valkyrie Temple. The other two were Golden Feather Knight from the temple and a priest from the temple.
This lineup is too extravagant. Even if her father hosted a banquet, he might not be able to invite all three of them at once.
The man who called himself Teacher Brandon was personally brought out by these three. She observed the expressions of the bishop, the Golden Feather Knight, and the priest, and they were clearly angry but dared not speak out.
If anyone else dared to act so arrogantly in the temple, the Golden Feather Knight would definitely teach them a lesson about the power of the Temple Knights.
"It's alright, it's alright. You are a devout follower of the Valkyrie, Valkyrie will still protect you." After saying that, the young dragon turned to look at Lance, who was staring at the Valkyrie 'cooing' in the square.
She still has the mind to watch pigeons. If the Valkyrie gets angry, even an evil dragon will be in trouble. The Valkyrie is much stronger than Legendary Hero and Epic Hero.
The Valkyrie can beat the dragon as easily as the dragon beats her.
"Lance, are we going back to the City Lord's Mansion for dinner tonight?"
"We're not going back. We're having roast pigeon for dinner."
Coo coo coo. A big, fat white pigeon that was leisurely eating food scraps in the square suddenly looked up after the dragon said, "We'll have roast pigeon for dinner tonight," its small eyes filled with disbelief.
This heartless human actually wants to roast and eat it?
It had just thought that the human was attracted by its chubby body and white feathers and wanted to feed it.
That seemingly friendly smile was actually the smile of a devil!
You beast!
You eat white doves, which symbolize peace?
This is a temple.
In a sense, it can be considered a white dove raised by the temple clergy.
It is a white dove with a spiritual nature.
"This white pigeon is plump and has lots of meat, shall we eat it?"
The young dragon also took a liking to the cute, chubby white dove on the ground that was staring at the evil dragon. The evil dragon's food was always delicious, and she had never eaten roasted pigeon before.
The fat white dove was frightened. It hadn't expected that the seemingly clumsy little dragon could be so ferocious. Normally, a cute, chubby white dove like itself should be loved, right? The fat white dove spread its wings slightly, took a few steps back, cooed a few times, and then flapped its wings and flew away. It didn't dare to fly into the tree; it flew into the temple.
Before it ran, it notified its silly kin to run too, otherwise they would become roast pigeons. Don't say it didn't warn them.
"They flew away. How did they all fly away?"
"You spoke too loudly and scared them away. Looks like we won't be able to have roast pigeon tonight."
Lance originally intended to catch and roast that fat white dove, but he didn't expect the little guy to be so intelligent that it understood what he said and flew into the temple in fright.
The fat white dove was not destined to die.
"Um, Lance, were you sure just now?"
"Confirm what? Oh, not sure, but my intuition tells me that Sophia and the Valkyrie must have a significant connection."
"You dared to shout ' Sophia, pay back the money!' in front of the statue without even confirming it? Just because they look alike doesn't mean they are the same person. Just like having the same name, can you say that people with the same name are the same person? Besides, the beautiful Elder Sister Sophia might have become a Heroic Spirit. She sacrificed herself to save the people of a city. Even if she didn't save them, she still has a great chance of becoming a Heroic Spirit after her death."
The young dragon was afraid. She feared that when the evil dragon was determined to collect its debt, it would take her to the Valkyrie Temple around the world every few days to collect the debt from the Valkyrie Statue.
The evil dragon is not afraid of Divine Punishment, but she is afraid of it. She is just a weak and useless young dragon. The Valkyrie could kill her with a flick of her little finger. "That reminds me. Tonight I will try to see if I can summon her from the Hall of Heroes."
"???"
Is it for real? As Imperial Princess, she knew the necessary conditions for summoning heroic spirits.
Summoning heroic spirits is not something just anyone can do. Ordinary Extraordinary Person who try to summon heroic spirits will simply be ignored by them.
Only those who are upright, powerful, honest, and trustworthy, and whose names are known in a small area, are qualified to summon heroic spirits.
Oh, some royal princes and noble sons from distant lineages, as well as descendants of heroes or warriors, are also qualified to summon the spirits of the Hall of Heroes.
The evil dragon is very strong, but he shouldn't be qualified to summon heroic spirits.
He is not a descendant of a brave man or a hero.
When he came to the human world as a human, he couldn't have been a hero, a warrior, or done something that saved the day, could he? If his ancestors included a black dragon ancestor who was a hero or a king, and who had many powerful followers, then the evil dragon might be able to summon a heroic spirit from the Hall of Heroes.
The problem is that the poor dragon doesn't really look like a black dragon born into a wealthy or noble family.
If it came from a powerful dragon family, the black dragon wouldn't have been almost tricked and swindled by that ancient person when it was young.
"Heroic Spirits can be summoned at will?"
"You need to meet certain special conditions to summon a Heroic Spirit. And even if you meet the conditions, whether the Heroic Spirit will respond when you summon it is another matter."
"You've summoned heroic spirits?"
"Summoned once."
"???"
The evil dragon actually summoned heroic spirits?!
"Has it been summoned?"
"I summoned it, but it was beaten to tears by my opponent's Heroic Spirit."
"."
Summoning Heroic Spirits is random, relying on luck and chance.
If you have good character and good luck, the heroic spirits you summon may be stronger.
If you're unlucky, the summoned hero might just be a mascot.
Lance thought of the heroic spirit he had summoned before.
Their entrance was dazzling.
Three minutes into the battle: Don't hit my face, Lance, save me! PS: Thanks to Chief Chestnut Old Pigeon for the 500 points.
PS2: I need to stretch my legs a bit before I start writing the second chapter. I'll also answer the question from the author on QQ Reading. On the author's page, I can see the book title, but on QQ Reading, I can only see the synopsis.
