[Envy] Crisis and Lifeforging

When Qiao Sisi and the Spark Society are attacked by the Blood Worship Cult’s Five-Colored Guards, Gem Witch responds to Sisi’s distress call. She arrives after Sisi transforms into the monstrous embodiment of [Envy] and resolves to stop the monster without abandoning her little sister. 383 384

Gem Witch battles [Envy] with fire magic, Rainbow Slash, Amethyst Rainbow Barriers, aerial maneuvering, and her Magic Staff. Though badly injured and unable to defeat the regenerating monster alone, she reaches Qiao Sisi emotionally by acknowledging the unfairness of talent and promising that a big sister needs no reason to save her little sister. 385 386

After Bai Zhou rescues them and extracts the Demon Cells of [Envy], Gem Witch confirms her ownership of a Magician Path Forbidden Canon. After the ensuing battle, Gem Witch confronts the envy intensified by her newly absorbed cells. Rather than resent Bai Zhou’s growth, she resolves to use her emotions as motivation. She sincerely thanks him for helping her progress and accepts his invitation to continue their alliance and return to the Blood Worship Cult. 402

Holy Relic Institute Expedition

Gem Witch joins Bai Zhou, Fang Xiaoxia, and Ya in exploring the submerged remains of the Holy Relic Institute. She helps investigate the corpse-nurturing land beneath the lake and recover inheritances from defective coffins. 408

During the battle with the Deep-Diving Mermaid, Gem Witch repeatedly shields Bai Zhou with Violet Rainbow Walls despite the severe underwater disadvantage. Bai Zhou ultimately protects her in return and defeats the monster, allowing him to advance his Personal Destiny to Noble Fate. 412 413

Gem Witch witnesses Bai Zhou’s later use of the corrupted [Shadow of the Deep One] and learns that his Personal Destiny genuinely evolved from an ordinary fate into a Noble Fate. Though shocked, she promises to keep his secret and treats his impossible advancement as motivation to grow stronger herself. 414 415

She also accompanies the discovery of a sealed mound and a fragment of an actual Holy Relic beneath the submerged ancestral hall. 415

Ghost-Mermaid [Envy] Disguise

After encountering a large population of fishmen controlled by the bloodline influence of Bai Zhou’s armor, Gem Witch recognizes the political and financial value of the potential force, while Bai Zhou refuses the burden of ruling it. 423

Preparing to impersonate the returned [Envy] during an infiltration of the Blood Worship Cult, Gem Witch uses her flexible transformation ability to create a Ghost Green ghost-mermaid form. Her first transformation attempt fails and explodes, but her second attempt successfully produces an ominous appearance suitable for posing as [Envy]. 423

As the group returns toward the city, the Sloth Gospel warns them not to return to the familiar cult headquarters. It addresses Bai Zhou as Mr. Sloth and Gem Witch as Miss Envy, directing them toward the “true Blood Worship Cult” and promising to reveal its larger plan. 423

Mission to Capture Herself

While maintaining her [Envy] disguise before the Holy Son, Gem Witch overhears orders to capture her and preferably her parents. Bai Zhou fabricates an account of their injuries and the missing Medical Association physicians, redirecting suspicion toward a white-haired King of Lustful Evils. 428

The Holy Son assigns the apparent Envy to capture Gem Witch before sunset the following day. Bai Zhou volunteers to supervise the mission, but Lust is also assigned to accompany them. Gem Witch consequently accepts an order to capture herself while secretly trying to protect her family. 428
