Ding Ling mastered the Six Meridian Divine Sword, defeated Koumachi, and absorbed the Inner Force of the forces sent against him on Taihu Lake. After raiding Canhe Manor’s Huanshi Water Pavilion, he reached Mantuo Manor and confronted its mistress.

• Ding Ling captured the Manggu Toad, refined it into pills, and helped Zhong Ling gain immunity to poison before rescuing Mu Wanqing from Yu Hua Tian and agreeing to marry her.
• Ding Ling took Duan Yu to Tianlong Temple, mastered the Six Meridian Divine Sword, defeated Koumachi in debate and combat, and learned the Little Phaseless Skill and numerous Shaolin arts from him.
• Ding Ling’s group traveled toward Suzhou, where Granny Rui and Granny Ping’s Drunken Bees incapacitated Duan Yu and others before Ding Ling treated them and accepted Mu Wanqing as his wife.
• Ding Ling crossed Taihu Lake and defeated the forces of Gongye Qian, Deng Baichuan, Feng Bo'e, and Bao Different, absorbing their Inner Force and killing the four manor leaders.
• Ding Ling entered Canhe Manor’s Huanshi Water Pavilion and mastered its many manuals, including Star Shift and Canhe Finger, while Duan Yu and Koumachi studied the books.
• Ding Ling left Canhe Manor after the Lightning Mink evolved, then attacked Mantuo Manor, spared its young women, and left Duan Yu with the unconscious Wang Yuyan before entering the main hall.

Ding Ling seized Western Xia, conquered the Song, Liao, and Tufan, and built the Great Ming Empire while gathering martial arts manuals. After defeating Li Canghai and completing the Path of the War God missions, he returned to Luoyang to continue reading the manuals collected in his Imperial Study.

• Ding Ling mastered the manuals in the Langhuan Jade Grotto, then set out for Leigu Mountain with Koumachi following him.
• Ding Ling defeated the Xixia First Rank Hall attackers, joined Xiao Feng on the journey to Western Xia, and routed its army before forcing Li Qiushui to yield.
• Ding Ling took the Western Xia throne, appointed his companions to key posts, and mastered Lingjiu Palace’s hidden techniques.
• Ding Ling defeated the Song and Liao forces, forced their rulers to surrender, conquered Tufan, and incorporated the kingdoms into the Great Ming Empire.
• Ding Ling killed Ding Chunqiu, cured Azi’s poison, and established examinations and a system for collecting secret manuals across the empire.
• Ding Ling obtained the complete Eight Desolations Six Harmonies Self-Respecting Art, mastered it, and returned to Luoyang to read the growing collection of manuals.
• Ding Ling read Shaolin’s scriptures and secret arts, then sparred with Li Canghai and defeated her, completing the Path of the War God missions.

Ding Ling merged the three arts at Everlasting Youth Valley, ascended into the Wind and Cloud world, and built power through books, medicine, and defeated opponents. The arc left him facing Shi Wuzun after overpowering him in Lingyun Grotto.

• Ding Ling revealed his mastery of the three arts to Li Canghai, and they traveled together to Everlasting Youth Valley, where he learned the Heavenly Longevity Everlasting Youth Skill and discovered the Sky Ladder.
• Ding Ling and Li Canghai climbed into the ruined Celestial Palace, where Ding Ling crossed the dangerous chasm, found the South Heaven Gate plaque, and encountered a powerful armored warrior.
• Ding Ling returned to Luoyang, abdicated in favor of Xiao Feng, and ascended through the Sky Ladder into the Wind and Cloud world.
• Ding Ling traveled toward Lingyun Grotto, strengthened himself with the Dragon Elephant Prajna Skill, and took control of the Hero King Manor after Lu Yi tried to poison him.
• Ding Ling mastered the Howl God Manual and confronted Bu Jingyun, then spared him in exchange for Qin Shuang's Tianshuang Fist manual and mastered both it and the Saint Spirit Swordplay.
• Ding Ling entered Lingyun Grotto, subdued Dugu Ming, mastered the Dragon Subduing Divine Leg, and killed him after absorbing his Inner Force.
• Shi Wuzun arrived to avenge Dugu Ming, but Ding Ling broke one of his arms and overwhelmed him with Slaying Dragon to Seek Dao.

Ding Ling battled Heaven’s Gate experts in Lingyun Grotto, gained power from the Fire Kirin and mastered the arts and weapons he found around the Dragon Vein. After leaving Nie Renwang and Duan Shuai to guard the seal, he faced Ice Emperor and Divine General again in the Fire Kirin’s lair.

• Ding Ling killed Shi Wuzun, took his scrolls, mastered Buddha’s Palm, and entered Lingyun Grotto in search of Blood Bodhi and martial arts.
• Ding Ling drove Ice Emperor off with Buddha’s Palm, but Divine General joined the pursuit and forced Ding Ling to flee into the Fire Kirin’s cavern.
• Ding Ling drank the Fire Kirin’s blood and consumed its flesh and bones, strengthening his attributes and manifesting Dragon Form and Elephant Form energies.
• Ding Ling entered the hidden chamber, awakened the Xuanyuan Sword, and learned that Nie Renwang and Duan Shuai guarded the Dragon Vein to suppress an Evil Demon.
• Ding Ling resisted Chi You’s attempt to seize his body, and the Library and Martial Furnace destroyed Chi You’s divided soul and converted it into the God of War Art.
• Ding Ling set up formations around the Dragon Vein, taught Nie Renwang and Duan Shuai the Sword God Breathing Method, and mastered their martial arts before refining the Fire Kirin Sword’s demonic nature and Nie Renwang’s Mad Blood.
• Ding Ling met Nie Feng, gave him a Fire Kirin scale, and sent him to search for the Ten Styles of Martial Arts before returning to the Fire Kirin’s lair.
• Ding Ling attacked Ice Emperor and Divine General with the Snow Drinking Saber, forcing them to prepare Ice and Fire Double Heaven.
