After Shaolin accused him of arson and theft, Ding Ling fought his way out, strengthened himself through Shaolin scriptures and manuals, and discovered that Ke Bi Neng was among the people targeting him.

Ding Ling destroyed Ke Bi Neng’s Mongol army, learned the Nine Yang Divine Art, and gained Hong Qigong’s and Guo Jing’s admiration by mastering their martial arts at once. He reached Xiangyang, agreed to help defend it against the Mongols, and discovered that the Martial Furnace could eventually forge his skills into a new divine art.

• Ding Ling and Little Dragon Girl rode to Ke Bi Neng’s camp, where Ding Ling’s attacks overwhelmed the Mongol army and killed its leaders, including Mu Renqing, Hong Antong, Yuchi Gong, and Ke Bi Neng.
• Ding Ling nearly lost himself to Baleful Qi after killing Ke Bi Neng, but Little Dragon Girl called him back, and he used the Qing Nang Jing and Buddhist energy to recover his composure.
• Ding Ling found the Nine Yang Divine Art among Ke Bi Neng’s remains, mastered it along with Mu Renqing’s Mixed Origin Skill and Mixed Origin Palm, and continued south with Little Dragon Girl.

Ding Ling defeated the Mongol forces, killed Kublai Khan, and returned to Xiangyang before helping Guo Jing’s group move north. After conquering a city, he learned Huang Yaoshi’s arts and continued his campaign with Huang Yaoshi’s support.

• Ding Ling defended Xiangyang by killing Aobai and routing the Mongol attackers, then learned many of Huang Rong’s martial arts and accepted Huo Dou’s invitation to confront the Golden Wheel Monk.
• Ding Ling defeated the Golden Wheel Monk, gathered manuals and Great Medicine from Kublai Khan’s traps, and broke through into the Grandmaster realm.
• Ding Ling stormed Kublai Khan’s camp, killed Kublai Khan and Ni Moxing, and routed the Mongol army before returning to Xiangyang with Huo Dou.
• Ding Ling taught Little Dragon Girl, while news of his victory spread and Huang Rong admitted that the Song court had embezzled most of his promised rewards.
• Ding Ling asked Huang Rong to support Guo Jing’s rise and rode north with Guo Jing, Huang Rong, Little Dragon Girl, Zhu Ziliu, and their allies.
• After the group captured a city, Ding Ling met Huang Yaoshi, outperformed him in music and combat, and mastered the arts and subjects Huang Yaoshi taught him.
• Huang Yaoshi promised to support Ding Ling’s plans for Huang Rong and Guo Jing, and Ding Ling left north with Huo Dou, Little Dragon Girl, and the others.

Ding Ling helped establish Great Ming, mastered martial arts across the Nine Provinces, and ascended into the Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils world. There he rescued Zhong Ling and Ling Yanqiu from Yun Zhonghe, learned his lightness skill, and found the Manggu Vermilion Toad beside a poisonous pool.

• Ding Ling defeated Mongke Khan and Guyuk Khan, then overthrew the Song court and helped Guo Jing establish Great Ming.
• Ding Ling gathered and mastered secret manuals, then traveled with Little Dragon Girl to Unfeeling Valley, where he completed his mission and obtained more martial arts.
• Ding Ling left Unfeeling Valley after killing Qiu Qianchi and the attacking disciples, then cured himself and Little Dragon Girl of the Love Flower Poison.
• Ding Ling gave Yang Guo martial arts instruction and ascended alone through the Path of Glory into the Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils world.
