Lin Heng survived his Return to Void tribulation and completed his reincarnation in the Underworld, while others believed him dead. Back in the Star Sea, he helped Anqiu prepare to confront the Dugu Clan, setting up a meeting with Dugu Yueli, who was disguised as a Ke Clan survivor.

• Lin Heng used the Human Emperor Banner to break the Mortal World Immortal’s restrictions, and Saint Ye seized the Star-Suppressing Tower by taking over the immortal’s true soul.
• Lin Heng refined the Mortal World Immortal’s remnant soul into the Human Emperor Banner, escaped the tower, and began his Return to Void tribulation with the cultivators around him caught in its barrier.
• After surviving the escalating tribulation, Lin Heng was struck by a giant sword and sent to the Underworld, where Xiao Muyu rescued him from the Rebirth River and explained that the Epoch Game had begun early.
• Bai Yi and the others left the Star Sea believing Lin Heng had died, while Xiao Muyu helped Lin Heng complete his unfinished reincarnation and he later crossed back into the Star Sea with Hua Qi.
• Jiang Jingyi confronted Meng Yutong over gifts and corruption in the Heavenly Mystery Imperial Office, then arranged for her to acquire a spirit-vein mine as the continent prepared to mobilize.
• Lin Heng reached Anqiu Immortal City, offered Hu Chaozong a plan to capture Dugu Yueli, and arranged for Hua Qi to reveal the scheme to the Dugu Clan.
• Dugu Yueli entered Anqiu with Qin Hongyi and Dugu Hongxuan, discovered Lin Heng was alive, and decided to approach him disguised as Ke Miaoling, a survivor of the Ke Clan.
• Hu Chaozong introduced Dugu Yueli as Miao Ling to Lin Heng, and she asked him for help avenging Ke Manor and reclaiming Dragon Sea City.

Lin Heng seized Dragon Sea City after turning Hu Chaozong and the clans’ ambush against them, while Dugu Yueli infiltrated the city to rescue her family and reclaim it. Her scheme was disrupted when Lin Heng’s allies arrived, and the arc ended with Dragon Sea City offering the Dugu Clan cooperation against the Great Wall Dao Palace.

• Lin Heng uncovered the hidden teleportation array at Seven Broken Mountain, killed one clan head, captured another, and forced Luo Xiaochuan to help him take Dragon Sea City.
• Lin Heng’s forces seized Dragon Sea City, while Dugu Yueli’s side captured Anqiu Immortal City and began planning an exchange of hostages.
• Lin Heng used the Dugu Clan prisoners as leverage, and Dugu Yueli entered Dragon Sea City disguised as Ke Miaoling to get close to him.
• Dugu Yueli and Dugu Xuexue prepared a drugged banquet as a trap for Lin Heng, but Meng Yutong arrived and revealed that she was his Master.

Lin Heng used Nine Dust Hall’s attack to take control of Great Wall Dao Palace and negotiate with the Huang Clan while keeping Dugu Yueli close. Dugu Yueli escaped his escort and headed to Nine Dust Hall’s hidden base, where someone warned her that she had nearly forgotten her identity.

• Dugu Wuwu accepted Dragon Sea City’s offer only on the condition that the Dugu juniors were released, while the Dugu Clan prepared to retake the city after learning Lin Heng had seized it.
• Bai Yi’s troops attacked the City Lord’s Mansion, but Lin Heng suppressed the uprising and later began planning to take control of Great Wall Dao Palace.
• Lin Heng reconciled with Meng Yutong after she admitted she feared losing her place as his Master, then defended Dragon Sea City against Dugu Wuwu’s attack.
• Dugu Zixuan recognized Dugu Yueli beneath her Ke Miaoling disguise, and Lin Heng revealed his identity and asked her to help him take Great Wall Dao Palace.
• Lin Heng led a small force toward Great Wall Dao Palace, where he persuaded the Huang Clan to cooperate and negotiated control of the palace while promising to protect its lands.

Lin Heng captured Dugu Yueli, kept her at Ten Directions Hall, and negotiated a division of territory with Qin Hongyi while Nine Dust Hall faced an approaching clash with the Central Domain Immortal Clans. The arc ended with the Qi Clan attacking near Anqiu Immortal City, the discovery of a Heaven and Earth Stone, and Dugu Yueli and Dugu Xuexue running away.

• Dugu Yueli used peace talks to draw Dugu Zixuan from Dragon Sea City, but Lin Heng trapped Yueli inside the city’s formation and captured her with Saint Ye’s help.
• Lin Heng and Saint Ye dispelled Dragon Sea City’s protective formation, allowing its residents to withdraw before Nine Dust Hall entered the abandoned city.
• Huang Qiushi punished four Huang Clan rebels who tried to seize Great Wall Dao Palace, while Lin Heng postponed visiting Yueli to help Leng Qingyun and Yun Yao restrain Leng Qingqiu.
