Around Optimus Prime, a group of Intelligent Robots had likewise gathered.
However, there were not many high-ranking robots supporting Optimus Prime. Even those present were generally only Level-4 Robots, putting them a whole tier below the forces under the Decepticons.
Among the robots beside Optimus Prime, Saine spotted a Level-4 high-ranking Intelligent Robot whose form resembled a fighting vehicle.
This fellow had been introduced to Saine by the Decepticons not long ago, and Saine had even helped it break one layer of its shackles. He had not expected it to now be standing at Optimus Prime's side.
It could not exactly be called betrayal. Although Cybertron Planet's robots were broadly divided into two factions, they remained relatively united overall.
They all wished to fight for the independence and freedom of robotkind; only the ideals and methods of the two faction leaders differed.
Thus, quite a few Intelligent Robots belonged to the middle faction.
Faced with Optimus Prime's questioning, neither Saine nor the Decepticons answered. They were considering the Federation Fleet outside Cybertron Planet.
To be honest, the Decepticons had always looked down somewhat on Optimus Prime.
Optimus Prime's beliefs were far too idealistic. In this Star Realm where the weak were prey to the strong, freedom and power needed to be watered with blood.
And in terms of individual strength, Optimus Prime was also a notch inferior to the Decepticons.
Sometimes, the more extreme Decepticons would consider whether robot independence might proceed more smoothly than it did now if Optimus Prime were gone.
But the Intelligent Robots were not particularly strong to begin with.
Their population was an even greater problem.
Therefore, the Decepticons had only ever entertained the thought and had never truly acted on it.
Starting internal strife at such a critical juncture would be the act of
