Saine's sudden action shattered the long-standing balance outside the Purple Fir Wood Forest. →

A massive, Azure Flame Blade descended from the sky, slashing straight at the strongest of the three otherworldly creatures.

It was also Saine's action that caused Jack, the Quasi-Magician of the Azure Source Holy Tower, to curse under his breath.

Jack was ranked 13th on the academy's Combat Power Ranking. He didn't recognize Saine, who was wearing a Golden Mask, and was also annoyed by Saine's recklessness.

However, just as Saine made his move, another female Quasi-Magician, who had been holding back for so long, along with the other mid- and low-level Holy Tower apprentices, also joined in.

The female Quasi-Magician unleashed a giant Wind Blade, along with a variety of other mid- to low-level spells such as Fireball Spell, Ice Cone Technique, Elemental Ray, and Earth Spike, all hurled at her.

As it turned out, Saine's approach was correct; that Jack, the Quasi-Magician, was far too cautious.

Nearly twenty magic apprentices, with just one wave of magical baptism, caused a hint of despair to appear in the green eyes of the three otherworldly creatures.

Their previous threats were merely a show of bravado masking inner weakness.

However, the resistance and defense of these three otherworldly creatures were somewhat beyond Saine's expectations.

The high-level magical Flame Blade slashed down from the sky. Although the quasi-level otherworldly creature blocked the Flame Blade with its weapon, most of the Element Power was still poured onto it.

That's how it was; the otherworldly creature was able to stand upright in the flames without falling.

A strange, emerald-green energy appeared on the surface of this otherworldly creature's body and the weapon in its hand, which seemed to be a special power application technique mastered by its race.

However, immediately following Saine's Flame Blade, multiple spells bombarded the surface of this quasi-rank creature.

The body, which already had many wounds, now has many new scars.

Even the strange green energy that originally shone on its surface has dimmed considerably.

Seeing this, Saine pressed closer to his opponent again.

Holding a massive, deep blue fireball in each hand, he hurled it at the otherworldly creature before him, fueled by the momentum of Saine's relentless advance.

Casting magic at such close range was something only Saine did among those present.

This method of casting magic, while carrying a certain degree of danger, aims to maximize damage.

For example, the two enhanced Fireball Spell in Saine's hand were aimed at the otherworldly creature's already festering chest and its most vulnerable brain.

Perhaps they sensed an impending crisis, or perhaps they foresaw the imminent end of their lives.

Facing Saine's

Suddenly, as if struck by lightning, the otherworldly creature gripped its weapons with both hands and cried out in a rather peculiar tone, "Waka!"

As the otherworldly creature finished speaking, a beam of emerald green energy, far brighter than before, emerged from its body.

The skin of this otherworldly creature aged and withered at a visible rate.

A massive green energy ball appeared directly above the otherworldly creature's weapon, facing the approaching Saine and the other magical apprentices of the Wizard World further away. →

After a brief moment of thought, the quasi-level otherworldly creature closed its eyes and pointed towards the distance at the green energy sphere.

The emerald green energy ball also made Saine feel a little threatened, but just as he activated his Earth Elemental Shield, the green energy ball bypassed him and shot towards the other magic apprentices behind Saine.

The energy sphere, originally large enough to be the size of a head, transformed into several smaller energy spheres during its flight.

"Boom!" A series of explosions occurred in the Purple Fir Wood Forest. Each of these miniature energy balls had the power of a mid-level spell.

"So you thought you might not be able to kill me, so you set your sights on the other apprentices who are more numerous and weaker?" Saine asked in astonishment upon seeing the scene before him.

The otherworldly creature's eyes, in that brief moment, revealed not only despair but also a resolute determination to make its enemy pay the price, even at the cost of its own life.

The otherworldly creature before them clearly possessed considerable intelligence; it seemed to want to use its last bit of strength to inflict even a little more damage on the Wizard Civilization.

This otherworldly creature was different from the Sand Worm King and other creatures that Saine encountered in the Yellow Sand World.

From the Sand Worm King and other creatures, all Saine felt was an overwhelming and powerful pressure, as well as a faint, cold, and treacherous intent.

However, the resolute look in the eyes of this otherworldly creature before him, when it closed its eyes, deeply moved Saine.

Despite being touched, Saine's hands moved quickly.

He was not a sentimental or melancholic person, and it was almost impossible for him to feel much sympathy for these otherworldly creatures.

Weakness is the original sin!

Saine had already grasped this point thoroughly back when he was at the Black Wizard Academy.

Two enhanced Fireball Spell instantly engulfed the otherworldly creature's body.

In addition, another Flame Blade appeared in Saine's hand, and this time Saine slashed it directly at the opponent's neck.

The battle that took place at the Medium Resource Point, the Purple Fir Wood Forest, ended much faster than expected.

Faster.

After all, they were just three otherworldly creatures; how could they possibly withstand the combined attack of nearly twenty magic apprentices?

Although the apprentices of the Azure Source Holy Tower ultimately emerged victorious, they paid a heavy price: three died and five were seriously injured.

On one side are the numerous, yet inexperienced new apprentices of the Holy Tower who have never experienced the brutal trials of Plane War.

On the other side were three alien creatures who had no choice but to fight a desperate battle for themselves and for their defeated Mother Plane.

The fact that these three otherworldly creatures achieved such results can be described as both unexpected and yet somehow reasonable.

It was this battle that made these Holy Tower apprentices, who had not experienced much bloodshed, deeply understand what real war was, and what a life-or-death struggle was.

Among them, a Advanced Apprentice named Kesma should leave the deepest impression.

Because he had already plunged the ice spike in his hand into the chest of one of the high-level otherworldly creatures.

But to everyone's surprise, the otherworldly creature that did not die immediately charged towards Kesma despite the ice spikes and plunged its javelin into Kesma's abdomen.

Thanks to the timely support of the other apprentices and the fact that the otherworldly creature had exhausted its strength, Kesma was only seriously injured and did not die.

Nevertheless, these fledgling Holy Tower apprentices gained a new understanding of otherworldly creatures.

After the battle, Saine became the first person to leave his badge mark in the Purple Fir Wood Forest.

With 500 Medium Resource Point and 300 otherworldly creature points, totaling 800 points, Saine's total points reached 1280!

"You bastard, you're responsible for their deaths!" Jack, the Quasi-Magician, roared at Saine, who was preparing to leave in mid-air, pointing at the corpses of the fallen apprentices.

It's unclear whether Jack was angry because Saine had stolen his first resource point capture, or because Saine had suddenly intervened and caused the battle to proceed hastily.

In short, after Jack finished speaking, many of the apprentices present did indeed change their gazes towards Saine.

Despite Saine personally killing that quasi-class otherworldly creature.

After storing the corpse of the near-class otherworldly creature into his Space Ring, Saine expressionlessly checked his badge points and said, "What do I care about the life or death of the weak?!"

"You!" Jack's expression changed drastically. He pointed at Saine in the sky, speechless for a moment.

Ignoring the apprentices below, Saine continued flying eastward.
