The battle against the Level-5 Rongyue creature proceeded quite quickly.
Battles between high-level lifeforms above Level 4 were like this. If one side kept its head down and tried to flee, or dragged things into a drawn-out struggle, it could take ten or even decades to determine life or death.
But if both sides fought without regard for anything else—especially if one side fought to the death without retreating—the battle could easily end.
This exceptionally reckless Level-5 Rongyue creature ultimately became a corpse under Saine and Fumila's combined assault.
Aside from one of its arms, which Fumila had severed and which Saine kept as a specimen for his collection,
after the battle ended, there was not even a single intact patch left on the corpse of this Level-5 Rongyue creature.
It was covered almost entirely in penetrating wounds from Energy Beams, as well as scorch marks left by flame magic.

In their usual interactions, unless Saine took the initiative to ask her something, Fumila would not respond to remarks like these, which were more akin to sighs.
