The Enlightenment Prophet was a complete madman!

But facts proved that many things in this world really were accomplished by madmen!

As a Dominator who wielded immensely powerful Power of Light, when the Enlightenment Prophet first spoke with God of Destruction Zanding about reversing time and space,

Zandin had reacted with utter disdain.

Even a mighty being like Zandin, who could enter Level 9 at any moment, did not dare claim mastery over the rare and formidable laws of time.

He believed that laws of time existed within the Star Realm. The differing Time Flow Rates between special alternate time-spaces such as the Flowing Light Retrospective World and Despair World, and the normal Star Realm, were clear proof of that.

Many Level-9 Beings, after advancing to Level 9 and gaining the power to break the rules of balance, might also be able to wield a portion of Time Power on a small scale.

For instance, Zandin had always looked forward to discovering just how much power he could command after advancing to Level 9.

But unfortunately, God of Destruction Zanding was not the Darkness Demon Ancestor. In the end, he lacked the audacity to advance to Level 9 within the Star Realm.

Moreover, according to Zandin's previous understanding of the Power of Rules, time rules were often linked to space rules.

Under normal circumstances, only beings who had mastered Space Power to an extreme degree could take a further step and touch upon time rules.

Yet this Enlightenment Prophet fellow had actually used the Power of Light to seek the mysteries of time?!

And he had actually succeeded!

The Enlightenment Prophet, representing the Decayed Civilization, had not chosen the Flowing Light Retrospective World as the main battlefield for Dimensional Hegemony at random.

After the location of the Dimensional Ascension War had been confirmed, the Enlightenment Prophet began making preparations on multiple fronts.

Adjusting and amplifying the Tower of Decay, calculating the time stamp of the Flowing Light Retrospective World, making minute adjustments to the Decayed Civilization's overall rules and the evolutionary traits of its countless low-level creatures...

If God of Destruction and the Fallen Emperor had, in recent years, been handling external affairs and confronting the wary, watchful eyes of the Top-Level Civilizations in the surrounding star regions of this time-space,

then Prophet of Radiance Saliya had been handling internal affairs all along.

In his words, his overall transformation of the Decayed Civilization would allow the Decay Legion to better adapt to the special battlefield of the Flowing Light Retrospective World. He had even determined their Decayed Civilization's opponent in advance!

—The Evil Tide Civilization from twelve million years in the future!

"So, neither in this time-space nor in the history of the past had a single opponent capable of standing against our Decayed Civilization been born?"

"Therefore, the laws of balance in the Star Realm connected us to an enemy from the future." Upon learning this, the Fallen Emperor could not help lowering his head in contemplation.

In response to the Fallen Emperor's words, the Enlightenment Prophet had glanced at him.

This fellow, who had always behaved strangely, slightly opened his mouth as though he wanted to say something. But in the end, he closed it and said nothing.

God of Destruction Zanding, on the other hand, had been extremely excited by this enemy from the future time-space!

The Decayed Civilization had swept across the surrounding star regions without meeting an enemy to this day.

Though in recent years, the Decayed Civilization's strategy of sweeping Across the Astral Realm had indeed become increasingly difficult to pursue, and more and more Top-Level Civilizations had displayed hostility toward it,

the Decayed Civilization had not, like the Evil Tide, suffered one crushing setback after another during its expansion Across the Astral Realm.

"No civilization will be a match for our Decayed Civilization!" God of Destruction Zanding declared confidently.

Until the Enlightenment Prophet poured a basin of cold water over him. "The enemy we discovered—the Evil Tide Civilization—is roughly four-thirds as strong as us," the Enlightenment Prophet said coldly.

"What?!"

"There is actually an ultimate-form Top-Level Civilization stronger than our Decayed Civilization?!" God of Destruction Zanding said in disbelief.

Have civilizations in the future time-space already grown this powerful? This was Zandin's thought.

But what the Enlightenment Prophet wondered was, why had the Evil Tide not continued sweeping Across the Astral Realm?

Based on the partial information about the Evil Tide Civilization that the Enlightenment Prophet had uncovered, the Evil Tide Civilization held greater advantages than the Decayed Civilization in the domain of sweeping Across the Astral Realm.

Not to mention that the Evil Tide Civilization's scale and overall strength also appeared to surpass those of the Decayed Civilization.

Yet the final outcome was still that the Evil Tide had also stepped onto the dimensional ascension stage of Dimensional Hegemony.

The Star Realm was balanced.

Especially where Dimensional Hegemony was concerned, some special balancing mechanism—or perhaps an "unknown giant hand"—was manipulating everything from behind the scenes.

It brought together two originally unrelated Top-Level Civilizations, even civilizations from different time stamps, to compete on the same stage in an alternate time-space.

The Evil Tide's scale and overall strength were indeed greater than those of the Decayed Civilization, but that did not mean the Decayed Civilization had no chance.

The Decayed Civilization's upper echelon, led by the Enlightenment Prophet, had uncovered information about the Evil Tide Civilization first. That in itself was their advantage.

This was also an important weight affecting the initial balance of the two sides' Dimensional Hegemony!

Not only had the Enlightenment Prophet uncovered much information about the Evil Tide Civilization and the future time-space, it had even truly relied on its so-called "Power of Light" to break through the shackles of time, reverse time and space, and establish a relatively stable channel connecting to the future!

Naturally, establishing such a "Space-Time Channel" required paying an enormous price.

This was also another manifestation of the Star Realm's laws of balance.

With the Decayed Civilization's early preparations and accumulations over the past nearly thirty thousand years, it could establish only three such Space-Time Channels.

Not long ago, one Space-Time Channel had already collapsed.

At that time, the Decayed Civilization had sent three Dominators through the river of time and into the future.

But no one knew what they had encountered. They had been unable to return in time.

To avoid greater backlash from the Time-Space Rules and prevent certain unforeseeable, terrifying consequences, the Decayed Civilization had proactively destroyed that Space-Time Channel.

And now... were they going to use the second one?

At the peak of the infinitely towering and majestic Tower of Decay, the three Kings of Decay looked at one another.

Using the second Space-Time Channel would also be no small price for the Decayed Civilization.

If anything else went wrong with these Space-Time Channels, it would become even harder for the Decayed Civilization to interfere with the future time-space.

Furthermore, their main clash with the Evil Tide might then initially take place only in Despair World, reducing interference on the Star Realm battlefield.

In recent years, the Decayed Civilization's interference in the future time-space had been rather successful.

Not only had considerable turmoil seemingly been stirred up within the Evil Tide, but the Evil Tide Civilization's enemies and the external situation around it also seemed to have become more chaotic and changeable!

Most of these changes were things the Decayed Civilization wished to see.

But a very small number were not.

After all, wielding the power of time rules was far too complex.

No one could guarantee that, under the influence of all sorts of factors and the interference of the Astral Realm Wills on both sides, everything would develop in the direction they envisioned.

The Star Realm time-space where the Decayed Civilization was located also had an Astral Realm Overseer!

And like the Evil Tide Civilization, the Decayed Civilization was hated by both the Astral Realm Will and the Astral Realm Overseer!

"How can we be sure that the Demon Fall Supreme's invitation is not a conspiracy?"

The Enlightenment Prophet asked in return within the Meeting Hall at the peak of the Tower of Decay.
