The time we spend together is always fleeting. →

It was time for Saine and Merri to part ways again.

Midiqi, a level two peak Mage, personally escorted Saine to the outskirts of the Dawn Holy Tower.

During the farewell to Saine, Master Midiqi also brought Saine some additional news.

That was a memorandum from when Dawn Holy Tower carried out the "Black Extermination Mission" in the Underdark.

Of course, Master Midiqi couldn't tell Saine all the details of the mission from back then; all he produced was a simple summary of the mission.

From the intelligence information provided by Master Midiqi, Saine saw information about Martin, a level three Black Magician; Qiongni, Second-Level Black Magician; Dadalong, Second-Level Black Magician; and Di'ersi, a level one Black Magician.

The headmaster of the Black Wizard Academy Dadalong, who had imprisoned Saine in the dungeons, is dead. He died on the South Coast.

After escaping the Underdark, during his subsequent escape, he was jointly killed by the Dawn Holy Tower and Knight of level one and above from the surrounding areas.

The memo did not specify who killed Dadalong.

The Holy Tower should have kept the information about these participating Mage and Knight hidden and protected.

Also confirmed to have fallen Ke Suo Long, the first-level Black Magician who left a deep impression on Saine during anatomy class.

Master Ke Suo Long has made remarkable achievements in the fields of anatomy, death modification, and the Corpse Refinement Synthetic Beast.

If we set aside his identity as Black Magician and his wicked hobby of physically altering his apprentices, purely from an academic standpoint, Ke Suo Long is among the most knowledgeable of all Level-1 Magician.

Also in this memo, Saine saw information about the murderer of his mentor, the first-level Black Magician, Di'ersi.

The first-level Black Magician, Di'ersi, was incredibly lucky. It's likely that Saine's mentor, Moxidu, severely injured him by self-destructing his Magic Conductor.

But this guy actually managed to escape from the subsequent siege by Dawn Holy Tower.

Also fleeing along with Di'ersi were Qiongni, Second-Level Black Magician, and Martin, a level three Black Magician, among others.

Saine did not find any information about Lina's mentor, Feilunna, in this memo.

According to Midiqi, these marked Black Magician Black Magician all wanted by the major Holy Tower and Knights' Hall of the Wizard World.

However, some Black Magician who were born and raised in the Black Domain of the Western Islands and who had never committed crimes in the Wizard World, or who had committed crimes but were not caught, were not recorded.

Merri lingered with her outstretched left hand, her Merri fixed on that direction until Saine's figure disappeared from the Teleportation Stone Hall.

Beside Merri, Anji, Low-Level Magic Apprentice, pouted unhappily.

Just last night, while she was distracted by the owl, that man stole her senior sister away.

Anji could clearly sense that her senior sister's mind was more than 70% captivated by that man.

You know, before, my senior sister belonged entirely to her!

Anji tugged at Merri's sleeve, asserting his presence to her.

It was only then that Merri came to her senses. After picking Anji up, she said, "Let's go back."

"I should start preparing to try and become Level-1 Magician," Merri said.

After leaving Dawn Holy Tower, Saine did not use the Space Teleportation Array to go to Muther Muser City, the westernmost part of Dawn Holy Tower's territory, but instead went to Stormwind City, south of Dawn Holy Tower.

Stormwind City is located in the far south of the Dawn Holy Tower's territory. It is one of the richest and largest cities in the Dawn Holy Tower and also its largest port to the outside Dawn Holy Tower.

Not only do commercial airships travel west to the Mamet United Alliance and the City of Steel Stormwind City, but there are also stable commercial channels to the east to the top powers in the Wizard World, such as the Beren Empire and the Jahana Kingdom.

Furthermore, it is rumored that the Dawn Holy Tower and the sea creatures of the Wizard World have always had a good relationship.

Stormwind City also maintains special communication channels with several Sea King Hall deep within the Endless South Sea.

As Saine stepped out of the Teleportation Stone Hall, he was greeted by waves of heat and a salty sea breeze.

Stormwind City built on an island that extends a certain distance into the Endless South Sea. In addition to the island itself being the main body of Stormwind City, there are also more than a dozen Li Island surrounding the island, all of which are considered part of Stormwind City.

It was after arriving in Stormwind City that Saine learned that the influence of the Wizard World South Coast was far less than that of the small territory along the coastline of the Wizard Continent.

There are also numerous islands around Stormwind City and further south.

Some of these islands are about the same size as the island where Stormwind City is located.

However, some islands are much larger than Stormwind City.

Calling them "islands" is actually a bit inappropriate, because if those islands were placed in a typical medium or Small Plane, they would be considered continents! On these islands, which are comparable to continents, live millions, or even tens of millions, of Wizard World humans.

One or more human kingdoms are located on these islands.

Those who occupy a certain amount of power and territory on these islands in the South Sea are Knights' Hall built in the Endless South Sea.

No wonder Saine didn't see much influence from the Knights' Hall in the South Coast cities he passed through.

It turns out that it wasn't that the Knights' Hall were less powerful than the Holy Tower on the South Coast, but rather that they had other areas of focus.

There are more islands in the deep ocean than we imagine.

The richness of the ocean is beyond the imagination of terrestrial life.

Furthermore, because this area is the territory of many Knights' Hall, the rules may not be as strictly enforced as those in the Holy Tower area.

Therefore, due to the interplay and influence of various forces, the number of black markets here far exceeds that of other parts of the South Coast.

The reason why Saine came to Stormwind City this time was not because he suddenly decided to, but because he learned from Merri that there was a sizable black market nearby.

Deep in the ocean further south of the Wizard Continent's coastline, the rules of the Holy Tower and the Knights' Hall still exist, but due to the presence of sea creatures and entanglements of interests, there are far more Gray Area than in other places.

Over the past few decades, Dawn Holy Tower has indeed launched a significant campaign against Black Magician on the Wizard World South Coast.

But no matter how powerful the Dawn Holy Tower is, it is difficult for it to extend its influence to the deepest parts of the ocean.

The black market in the Wizard World is not entirely limited to serving only creatures of level one and above.

Of course, high-level black markets exist, but they're not the kind Saine is looking for.

The vast majority of black markets in the Wizard World also maintain a complete structure from the bottom up.

In fact, the vast majority of black markets serve magic apprentices and Knight Attendant, given their massive numbers.

The profits involved are likely greater than those used by creatures of level one or higher in the black market.

Furthermore, because magic apprentices and Knight Attendant at a relatively low Life Level, they have not yet fully grasped the seriousness of the rules of the Holy Tower and the Knights' Hall.

In addition, the rules have always tended to favor these "seedlings" of the Wizard World who have not yet grown up.

This has led to the complex environment deep in the South Sea.

There will be another update today, around 8:30 PM.
