Cognitive Shift
Saine spent less than a week in Black Iron Fortress Keep. →
Besides purchasing many alchemical materials and trinkets that he liked, his biggest gain was procuring a lot of unique construct components from the Nesser Civilization for the Construct Master Yuli.
As one of the biggest beneficiaries of the Nesser Star Region War, City of Steel plundered a large amount of assets from the Nesser Civilization.
These assets include both material wealth and intellectual property rights.
The development path of Constructed Magic Puppet followed by the Nesser Civilization has many similarities and mutual references with the mechanic system in the Wizard World.
Yuli's Constructed Magic Puppet had been damaged many times before this.
In particular, during the battle against the Second-Level Black Magician, in addition to the Flame Mark Constructed Magic Puppet being badly damaged, two other standard-issue puppets were nearly destroyed.
Within the territory of City of Steel, the amount of construct components that Saine can buy is obviously much more abundant than it was back in the Azure Source Holy Tower.
Even with the help of Saine's Magic Coin, there were some top-quality Constructed Magic Puppet parts that Yuli had never seen before, only heard of.
Those top-quality components were originally intended for use by Constructed Magic Puppet with combat power comparable to level two or even level three creatures.
This also reveals the different perceptions of material value among different World Civilization.
The same component, which is incredibly valuable in the Nesser Civilization, can likely be bought for a few Magic Coin or even less Saine's side the Free Market of the Wizard World.
It's not that the mechanics in the Wizard World are blind, but rather that different World Civilization have different values.
Furthermore, as the defeated party, the Nesser Civilization's artifacts were not necessarily of high quality to begin with.
Aside from Yuli, a pure-blooded Construct Master who can directly use those construct components.
Most other Mage in the Wizard World would probably only have the intention of disassembling and studying them at first, and would not use them directly.
"With these parts, I might be able to upgrade the Flame Mark again."
"Even those two standard magical puppets that were almost beyond repair can be repaired and strengthened," Yuli told Saine.
"Yes, we'll be staying in City of Steel for a while longer, enough time for you to complete these modifications and repairs," Saine said.
Saine will definitely make thorough preparations for this trip to the Western Islands.
His main purpose in staying in the City of Steel for a period of time was to push his power to its limit.
It's not just about Yuli's recovery of her combat strength; Saine's crucial experiments also need to be resolved as soon as possible.
Since the Black Iron Fortress.
Saine then took Yuli and traveled to various locations within the City of Steel, including Husas Fortress, Magic Energy Sky City, Marino Mechanic Port, and Andis Underground Metal City.
Many cities and regions within the City of Steel the Wizard World are highly characteristic of the development of the City of Steel's mechanics.
Many of the cities and their architecture are quite different from the places Saine had previously stayed in, such as the South Coast and Green Source Land.
Because of the different overall environment, and because the development system of mechanics is very different from that of normal elemental Mage.
This change even affected the most ordinary people at the bottom of the City of Steel.
To Saine's astonishment, the lowest-ranking civilians in the City of Steel were significantly more educated than those in other parts of the Wizard World.
Knowledge is monopolized in the Wizard World.
This monopoly does not refer to the Mage ' mastery of elemental knowledge, but rather to the monopoly that ordinary human nobles have over literacy and learning abilities.
The reason why the vast majority of Mage are said to come from noble families is simply because literacy alone presents a very high barrier to entry.
The hundreds of millions of ordinary human civilians in the Wizard World work diligently their whole lives, just to fill their stomachs; many of them can't even write their own names.
Furthermore, Saine also learned that the average level of education among humans within City of Steel is relatively high, mainly due to the resource allocation and financial injection from the City of Steel government.
This is an exception in the entire Wizard World.
Similarly, City of Steel is the only special region in the Wizard World where the distinction between commoners and nobles is not very clear.
Saine couldn't say whether this situation was good or bad.
It's also difficult to fathom the specific thoughts of the higher-ups in those City of Steel.
But subconsciously, Saine felt that this situation and the changes it brought might have a profound impact on the future development of the entire Wizard World.
Perhaps the leaders of those City of Steel are also experimenting, experimenting with a bottom-up change.
Those paying attention to what's happening here aren't just the high-ranking officials of City of Steel, but also those from other parts of the Wizard World.
After wandering around some areas within the City of Steel, Saine finally brought Yuli to the heart of the City of Steel, to an Underground City called Eska.
Building cities underground is not the exclusive privilege of the Black Magician of the Underdark; even the mechanics of the City of Steel enjoy doing it.
And he did it even better than those Black Magician.
The Underground City, with its distinctly metallic layers, evokes a strong sense of science fiction and visual impact.
The City of Steel brought Saine so much novelty and shock that it gradually led to a deeper transformation in Saine view of alchemy.
Alchemy in the Wizard World is definitely more than just creating a few magical items.
It has a higher level of significance.
From the construction of large- Space Fortress and Star Harbor to the creation of a single Magic Ring or necklace, these are all representative of alchemy.
During his time in the City of Steel, Saine did not learn any in-depth alchemical knowledge, nor did he receive any notes or inheritances from powerful alchemists.
What he gained was merely a shift in his understanding.
This will also have a significant impact on Saine's future development.
Perhaps due to his early experiences in the underground city of City of Mozhsuobula, Saine has a particular fondness for Underground City.
Saine plans to stay in this underground metal city called Eska for about two to six months.
After spending a sum of Magic Coin, Saine rented a medium-sized laboratory with relatively complete facilities in the eastern part of the Aiska Underground City.
This laboratory was originally the laboratory of a Second-Level Magician, so it is sufficient for Saine to complete any experiments he needs at this stage.
And perhaps because he was underground, Saine felt inexplicably at ease here.
He finally began to deal with the Spoils of War he had obtained from the Second-Level Black Magician, including some of the more sensitive experiments, which he also put on the agenda this time.
In the metallic silver laboratory, Saine looked at the Mermaid Ilisa lying flat on the Laboratory Table, his eyes showing little emotion.
Ilisa, with her pink fishtail, patted the Laboratory Table nervously.
Even the two milky-white seashells on her chest were trembling slightly.
They seemed to be afraid.
