Knowledge Legacy
Saine's knowledge of subterranean creatures naturally included subterranean monsters, demi-humans, and other types of subterranean beings. →
Through his senior sister Fei'er's explanation, Saine learned that it wasn't just Moduolong Island that had abundant underground resources.
It turns out that the underground resources here are naturally more abundant than in other places in the entire Western Islands.
Beneath the vast Surface World lies an equally expansive Underground Space.
Furthermore, these spaces are arranged in a stepped pattern.
Despite the fact that the resources of the underground world, which are closer to the Surface World, are quickly plundered by the Black Magician of the Black Domain, the resources of the Top-Level Plane in the Wizard World are still very valuable.
But deep underground, new resources are being produced every moment.
It is probably this model that enabled the Black Domain to develop, albeit in a barren state.
If this kind of excessive exploitation of resources were to occur in a typical medium or Small Plane...
Not to mention the total amount of resources is decreasing year by year, the entire plane may even fall apart.
Only a large enough and deep enough Wizard World could withstand a group of Black Magician wreaking havoc in the northern Western Islands without significantly impacting the overall development of the wizarding world.
Fei'er was very familiar with Moduolong Island. She and Saine stood close together on a Metal Discs, and with her directions, the two arrived at the northern part of Moduolong Island in the evening.
The place where the eldest brother Zorro lives is on a seemingly ordinary hill.
A dark, short Magic Tower stands in the shade of the hills and mountains.
As the sun sets, the overall feeling becomes gloomy and desolate.
This Magic Tower Magic Tower was built by Moxidu on the Moduolong Island, and it was also the place where Zorro, the senior apprentice, lived and studied with Moxidu during his apprenticeship.
According to my senior sister Fei'er, my senior brother has a deep affection for this Magic Tower.
Not far from this Magic Tower, on the outskirts of the hills, there is a Small Resource Point for Red Iron Ore.
Martin, a level-three Black Magician, allocated most of the profits from this resource point to Zorro.
It certainly seems incredibly generous, but in reality, this Red Iron Ore originally belonged to Moxidu.
Furthermore, this iron ore resource point was not allocated to Zorro free of charge.
At least two-thirds of the iron ore and other byproducts produced at resource points will eventually be converted into magical items and flow back into the hands of Martin and his companions.
In a place like the Black Domain, everyone needs to play a certain role to succeed.
Among the Black Magician of the same level who have just broken through to the first level, Senior Brother Zorro is definitely considered to be doing quite well.
In return, he had to supply Martin and other groups of Black Magician with the production of certain magical items.
Perhaps to surprise her senior brother, Fei'er could have used the Crystal Ball ball to send a message in advance, informing him that Saine had arrived on Moduolong Island, but Fei'er did not do so.
When the two of them appeared in front of the senior brother's Magic Tower and knocked on the door with the Magic Tower Magic Doorbell, Saine still felt a little excited.
"Is that Fei'er?"
"Didn't I already grant you free access to this Magic Tower? How come...?"
A Mental Strength transmission came from the Magic Tower, and then the tightly closed doors of the Magic Tower suddenly opened.
Zorro, dressed in a gray mage's robe, with much whiter hair and the appearance of a middle-aged man, appeared before Saine and the other man.
Upon seeing Saine and Fei'er outside the Magic Tower, Zorro's voice abruptly stopped.
Although Fei'er looked the oldest of the three present, she was the one who livened up the atmosphere.
Fei'er's laughter finally brought Zorro back to his senses.
This usually composed and mature Mage had a clear hint of excitement and joy flash in the corner of his eye.
At the time in City of Mozhsuobula, these were the only three disciples of Moxidu who were still alive.
Mage are a group of relatively introverted individuals, and Black Magician take their reclusive nature to the extreme.
Over the years, Zorro has met many Mage, but he has made almost no "friends".
On the island of Moduolong Island, apart from Martin, Qiongni, and a few other Black Magician, Zorro only really took care of Fei'er.
In short, he is a Mage with an extremely narrow social circle.
Zorro hasn't inherited much of the connections Moxidu had built up in the Western Islands.
Other Black Magician often come to Zorro, asking him to forge magical equipment.
In these situations, Zorro usually charges the market price.
Martin, a level-three Black Magician, provided protection; Zorro provided the technology; and the visitor provided the raw materials.
This way of life allowed Zorro to get to know quite a few Black Magician, but it was limited to the most basic business cooperation, and there was no question of personal relationships.
On the second floor of this dark, short Magic Tower, the three brothers and sisters sat around a stone table, talking about their experiences over the years.
Despite its unremarkable appearance from the outside, and even its somewhat old and dilapidated look, this Magic Tower is not surprising.
But the scenery inside was quite nice.
A wide variety of magical instruments, both familiar and unfamiliar to Saine, filled every floor of the Magic Tower.
Moxidu was an alchemy fanatic, so the top four floors and the three underground floors of the Magic Tower were mostly filled with alchemical equipment.
Zorro's Magic Tower, though seemingly shorter than Fei'er's, has a noticeably larger interior space.
The four-story height speaks for itself, not to mention the three additional underground levels.
"This Magic Tower must have used spatial technology. The achievements our mentor made in the field of alchemy are still beyond our reach," Saine remarked, looking at the Magic Tower around him.
Zorro was still immersed in the past events that Saine had just recounted.
In particular, Zorro's expression clearly showed some pain from the experience of Saine escaping from the underground and collecting his mentor's ashes.
After hearing Saine's sigh, Zorro got up and left for a moment.
When he reappeared downstairs, he brought back a large pile of Magic Books and alchemy notes.
"Junior brother, your talent in the field of alchemy is no less than mine. Our mentor praised you many times back then."
"These Magic Books and alchemy notes were left behind by our mentor."
"Especially those Magic Notebook, many of which were written by your mentor himself, should be of great benefit to your alchemy development," Zorro said, looking at Saine.
Zorro himself must have read all of these Magic Books and alchemy notes.
Mage value lineage and, most importantly, the Inheritance of Knowledge.
Saine did not refuse the items Zorro offered. He solemnly accepted the Magic Notebook and bowed deeply to Zorro.
Saine was not actually bowing to Zorro; he was bowing to his deceased mentor, Moxidu, and the Knowledge Inheritance Moxidu had written down.
After obtaining these Magic Notebook, Saine also divided the inheritance he had received from Moxidu into three parts and presented them to Zorro and Fei'er.
